Khan: You said the right statements. Obama should mind his business and keep his mouth shut about McCain's houses. It is based on fact that Rezko purchased the house Obama is living in because Obama had no money to buy it. Of course Obama wanted a mansion that he couldn't afford. Now he has turned his back on Rezko after Rezko paid for his house. What Obama should be concentrating on is the issues of change and what changes we can make to help the poor that some are living on the street. The price of oil. Passing a bill for the vets to have hospitalization and transportation free. I know that the VA is charging the vets for medication. I sincerely hope that McCain wins the election or god will have to help us.

Arthur: I believe your dead wrong about McCain. McCain can answer questions much better and quicker than Obama and everyone knows that Obama lost debates before because he hesitates too much before answering. There were no answers in advanced to those questions you just use your brain. Someone started a rumor because Obama failed. McCain is good at answering where Obama has to think. McCain doesn't have to cheat, he is ten times smarter than Obama in politics and foreign policy. Biden will have to teach Obama in order for him to run the country if elected. I think they should make a switch. Biden should be president and Obama VP.

Willem van Oranje: Cindy probably doesn't have mortgages. And for the records who cares how many homes or condo's they have or that they are millionaires. Obama probably doesn't owe on his house either since he has 4 million in the bank If Obama is so worried about McCain's houses he should buy about 4 condo's at the price of $275,000 and pay cash for them then he would have one mansion and four condo's. Obama should campaign on the issues and not on property. People want to know what changes (give me a break) he is going to make since that was his slogan.
Posted by: Mariann Pepitone | Aug 24, 2008 8:54:56 PM
Obama's remarks about McCain's seven houses is going nowhere as far as the public is concerned. McCain can buy 15 houses and no one cares but Obama. Rezko paid for Obama's mansion and if Obama was smart he would invest like Cindy McCain. Those condo's were purchased for an investment which is the logical thing to do. So many people are having foreclosures on their homes and condo's mainly because they didn't put 25 to 30% down and bought property at a price over their head. McCain has nothing to do with foreclosures. If Cindy McCain was the heir to an estate and her two sisters were left out there had to be a reason for that. Besides that what she buys is her own business and not the business of Obama or Biden. Its her money. And who knows if Cindy gave or did not give her sister's money. The trouble with politics is people dig into people's personal business.

Khan,
That's a wonderful Bible verse and so relates to the McCains. Perhaps they might want to acknowledge and share their wealth with her 2 sisters that her father conveniently forgot in the will.
You might be interested inthe interview with O'Bama's brother today inwhich he says he is happy with his life the way it is. Not so with Cindy's sisters, they would appreciate a share of the wealth.
Posted by: aw | Aug 22, 2008 6:54:59 PM
Obamaaaa, don't even think about buying another house, even as a rental. Then you won't be in the precious "only one mansion" progressive crew. You will then have to be categorized in the "wealthy, but still in touch" crowd.
I refuse to see this as a gaffe, until the media starts reporting equally on Obama's "I pay the same tax rate as a poor waitress" gaffe/lie (no adult is unaware that people making under $25,000 do not pay any taxes). Love to have his accountant.
Posted by: Wade | Aug 22, 2008 2:35:54 PM
Cindy and John McCain are rich, prosperous Americans. None of their wealth is ill-gotten gain. What's wrong with them buying houses?
Furthermore, at least two of their houses were purchased for family members.
Why doesn't the hyprocrite Obama keep his trap shut and live up to his maxim that he prescribes to us:
“We still don’t abide by that basic precept of Matthew: that whatever you do for the least of my brothers, you do for me.”
Why doesn't he take some of that money he got from Tony Rezko and buy his brother a bigger shack with running water and a toilet back in Kenya? Oh, sorry, I forgot,... he's already past his 1% limit on charity this year.
Posted by: Khan Krum | Aug 22, 2008 1:16:04 PM
Obama maintains his relationship with Rezko was "above board and legal" but has admitted bad judgment, calling his decision to involve Rezko "a bone-headed mistake."

William - It's really sad that you cannot accept the fact that the report also said that McCain's "actions were not improper nor attended with gross negligence and did not reach the level of requiring institutional action against him....Senator McCain has violated no law of the United States or specific Rule of the United States Senate."[20] On his Keating Five experience, McCain has said: "The appearance of it was wrong. It's a wrong appearance when a group of senators appear in a meeting with a group of regulators, because it conveys the impression of undue and improper influence. And it was the wrong thing to do."
But carry on and don't let the facts get in the way of good spin. LOL

No Peach, Obama acknowledged that it might have created the *appearance* of impropriety, and stated "I consider this a mistake on my part and I regret it."
Rezko was convicted on charges which were not related to Obama. Much to the dismay of the press and the Republicans.
What McCain did went far, far, far, beyond any *appearance of impropriety*. He acted improperly. And he acted improperly in a case which ended with several people in jail, and with a loss of billions for the taxpayers and almost 300 millions for 21.000 mostly elderly investors.
Posted by: Willem van Oranje | Aug 22, 2008 1:29:43 AM
Peach: there is this thing called "ethics" and acting on behalf of "We, the People" instead of acting on behalf of your rich buddies.
But that's a concept a lot of the Republicans don't want to understand anymore.

"A complaint is being filed"
Typical Republican Behaviour.
Anybody can file a complaint. His mortgage rate was standard considering he had excellent financial prospects (his book was doing great) and mortgage lenders considered him a catch to have him as a client.
I want to see the mortgage rates Cindy is getting, I bet she pays even less than Obama.

THOSE were NOT the words of McCain.... but of someone of whom he said just before he dumped him, :
" HE DOES NOT SPEAK FOR MCCAIN!
MCCAIN SPEAKS FOR MCCAIN!"
I admired him for saying that!
And as for being rich, when it comes to giving a helping hand,..Cindy has always been extremely generous with her
inheritance, especially when children in need were involved.
Just as Obama can't change his color, she can't undo the circumstances of Her birth, either.
Neither characteristic is a defect.
Accept them!

Donoke9-10, fantasyland is closed today. For the GOP, probably for the next eight years.. You see, the media bias in favor of McCain appears in the Politico article, Washington Post piece and Atlantic Monthly...suggesting McCain's not knowing what he owns is not a big deal. For a guy who says he doesn't understand the economy, yet owns property worth almost $14 Million Dollars, it's a stretch to understand why he doesn't know even that. And like I said before, a right wing owned website fried his chances. (Check WhoIs if you don't believe it.) At least here you can see some of what he doesn't remember owning. I was surprised none are in New York City. Just wait I suppose....

William - Apparently you missed this part:
The report also said that McCain's "actions were not improper nor attended with gross negligence and did not reach the level of requiring institutional action against him....Senator McCain has violated no law of the United States or specific Rule of the United States Senate."[14]
Sadly, three Democrats couldn't say the same thing.

Peach: "I've never seen as much class warfare as I've seen on some of these blogs."
Right. I still don't get it why preferring eating arugula or drinking tea is such despicable behaviour as a lot of Republicans seem to think.
And remind me, what did Rove tell us about Obama and Country Clubs?
McCain started the class warfare, he now has to grovel in it.

Nothing about McCain not giving the number of houses they own is relevant (most Cindy own) and nothing erases the horrific Saddleback Forum last weekend and Obama's horrible "nuanced" answers. Thank God, they are rerunning it on CNN all weekend!

Peach, why did you leave out the part where McCain actually GOES to San Francisco on behalf of Keating, MEETS with the Regulators with the other 4 Senators, in a clear attempt to intimidate the regulators to back off?
McCain was there. At the meeting. There's no denying.
Posted by: Willem van Oranje | Aug 22, 2008 12:31:06 AM
McCain's gaffe was not to tell the reporter "None of your beeswax how many homes I have!"
It was a below-the-belt punch meant to ambush McCain and doesn't merit a reply.
He should know he's dealing with a biased media, and a vicious klan. Blow them off and show your feisty self again!
So Obama claims he's in touch with voters because he has a mortgage. Not exactly.
A complaint is being filed with the FEC and the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Ethics about the sweetheart deal that Obama got on his $1.32 million mortgage. For this super super jumbo loan, he locked in a below average rate, and didn't have to pay origination fee or discount points. What does Northern Trust expect to get in return? It would be hard for the rest of us to shave off $125,000 in interest payment from heartless mortgage bankers.
You'd think investigative reporters would check this smelly deal instead of asking Gramps how many homes he has.
This election is historical in the way that American voters have to do their own research if they want a balanced report on the candidates.

Same as Obama and the Rezko deal. Bad judgment but not illegal.

Good Lord. How many Americans can possibly make that statement? 10? He REALLY REALLY REALLY doesn't get what it means to be an American. And this is the campaign that calls Obama an elitist?
Even beyond how hypocritical McCain is, is he really so stupid he couldn't censor himself before he made that statement? A president speaks for a nation. This man has absolutely no self-control. And I used to support him. The more I learn, the more appalled I am. He makes the Bush family look like middle class Americans.

Governor Crist receives letter with nontoxic powder
The Associated Press
11:05 PM EDT, August 21, 2008
TALLAHASSEE - Authorities are investigating who sent Gov. Charlie Crist a threatening letter containing a suspicious white powder.
The letter, which tested nontoxic, was intercepted at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's mail center at the state capitol. It was immediately sent to the Florida Department of Health for analysis, and preliminary results showed the substance wasn't harmful.
The threat was first reported by a South Florida newspaper on Thursday.
FDLE spokeswoman Heather Smith says investigators believe the letter was unrelated to one received at a John McCain office in Colorado. Smith says the FDLE is satisfied Crist is safe and secure.

Peach,
Although not convicted of anything, McCain intervened on behalf of Charles Keating after Keating gave McCain at least $112,00 in contributions. McCain has admitted to using his influence on behalf of Keating, meeting with regulators twice to press his case.
Cindy and her father got into a sweetheart deal with Keating on a shopping center and made a bundle. McCain got free trips from Keating that he only paid him back for after Keating started getting in trouble.
McCain said of his involvement - "it was the wrong thing to do". The ethics committee rebuked him for 'poor judgement'

When Tipper Gore spoke about civility for a second I thought the US had a chance.
Disgusted and scared how will the world go on if Obama loses. And if McCain wins how will the poor survive. This is the most disturbing election season in my lifetime.
When will one of the folks sho gts the text message spill the beans.
Meanwhile the other news in America and the world is buried and we go down the primrose path to the brink of whatever...AGHHH

Again, for those so desperately trying to defend McCain...and being clearly unable to, here's the deal.
A site owned by a GOP supporting board asked McCain how many houses he owns. Politico is owned by a group that once owned ABC (Capital Cities).
McCain did not know the answer, and suggested his staff would find out what he owns. He mumbled something about condos. Talking Points Memo noted they bought a second beach front condo during a moment where McCain said Americans would have to cut back on vacations.
In a followup piece, Politico's Ken Vogel noted what Cindy McCain said in Vogue.
"When I bought the first one, my husband, who is not a beach person, said, 'Oh this is such a waste of money; the kids will never go,'" she said in Vogue. "Then it got to the point where they used it so much I couldn't get in the place. So I bought another one."
And oh yeah, Obama's wrong. It's EIGHT houses.
Today's New York Times has a piece on Aaron Spelling's widow Candy downsizing from her mansion to a $47 million condo in Los Angeles. It's the managing of the properties, cost of upkeep (and being alone in the house) making her choose to sell.
And in a big finally, Phil Gramm, McCain's economic policy advisor, has been a lobbyist for UBS, and international bank. UBS is the bank blamed for causing the subprime mortgage meltdown, using Gramm's advice. Gramm profited from the home forclosures. Worse still, his wife, Wendy Gramm, is a prime catalyst for the failure of Enron. She profited from that failure. So where Middle America needs their retirement funds and homes, Phil Gramm tells us to shut up and stop whining.
While McCain, too rich to bother counting his wealth, doesn't know how many millions he's spent on real estate. And doesn't care enough to have advisors willing to help the rest of us out of this mess. His little people didn't get back to Politico. They had to dig through the records to find what they could. Cindy McCain has not released her tax returns. Like the half sisters she suddenly turns out to have, who knows what else is buried in those things.
So ridiculous or minor, this issue is not.
John McCain is too rich to care how rich he is.
No one can justify such stupidity.

Keating 5 from Wikipedia:
By March 1987, Keating and DeConcini were asking McCain to travel to San Francisco to meet with regulators regarding Lincoln Savings; McCain refused.[8][6] DeConcini told Keating that McCain was nervous about interfering.[6] Keating called McCain a "wimp" behind his back, and on March 24, Keating and McCain had a heated, contentious meeting.[8]
Ya'll are entitled to your own opinions, but not your own facts. McCain was cleared of all wrongdoing in the Keating 5 mess.
Posted by: Peach | Aug 21, 2008 11:42:22 PM
I'm really disappointed that posters who scream about McCain and the Keating 5 don't take 5 minutes to educate themselves about that.
From Wikipedia:
The Ethics Committee ruled that the involvement of McCain in the scheme was also minimal, and he too was cleared of all charges against him.[18][17] McCain was criticized by the Committee for exercising "poor judgment" when he met with the federal regulators on Keating's behalf.[6] The report also said that McCain's "actions were not improper nor attended with gross negligence and did not reach the level of requiring institutional action against him....Senator McCain has violated no law of the United States or specific Rule of the United States Senate."[14] On his Keating Five experience, McCain has said: "The appearance of it was wrong. It's a wrong appearance when a group of senators appear in a meeting with a group of regulators, because it conveys the impression of undue and improper influence. And it was the wrong thing to do."[6]
Several accounts of the controversy contend that McCain was included in the investigation primarily so that there would be at least one Republican target.[21][22][23][9]
The three who were charges were all -- ta da -- Democrats. I'm sure we're all shocked. /sarcasm

MIAMI (Reuters) - A man with self-described mental health problems was ordered held without bail in Florida on Thursday on charges that he had threatened to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama or President George W. Bush.
Raymond Hunter Geisel was arrested by the Secret Service in Miami on Saturday after making threats before other participants against both Bush and Obama at a bail bondsman's training course, according to federal court papers.

What about Rezko and Obama"
Obama was cleared and came forward to papers answering all questions. Rezko tried to involve Obama in his trial to try and coast off his name, hoping for a character get-off from the jury. Didnt work. But apparently McCain wants to take Rezko's word?
And again, if you want to go into Rezko territory, we will bring up the Keating Five, which McCain was directly involved in. Unlike Rezko, McCain is a corrupted criminal running for president.

the problem is not knowing what you have! c'mon, any of you defending this stupid comment - do you know how many homes you have? 99.9% (or more) of Americans know the answer to this question and for most of us the answer is part of one (the bank owns most of it).

"This is absolutely ridiculous! What does it matter how many houses McCain has, or whether he gives reporters a current count of them?"
Well, its part of a pattern of him being out of touch. Can't keep track of his wealth, cant relate to the common person, has no idea what rich is. And I dont mean the 5 million thing, I mean his hesitance to answer the question seriously. He just doesn't get it.
But as for the 'rich' meme, well its a taste of the Republicans own medicine. They wanted to trash Obama over overpriced lettuce and Hawaii, and they trashed Kerry for his expensive homes in 04, so its blissful to see them squirm when the shoe is on the other foot.
The Republicans only strategy is to play in the mud and hope they can win by experience at being slimy.

It does not show that he's "out of touch" because he (a) has seven houses and/or (b) didn't respond with that number for whatever reason.
It does show, however, that the Obama camp is really scraping the bottom of the issues barrel when they choose to quick! quick! quick! make an ad about it.
It insults the American public and, frankly, if this is what Obama thinks is important and needs attention in our country, well --- god help us.

Yes, there's nothing wrong with being successful. But come on, he has so many homes he can't rememeber the exact number. That's not successful, that's absurd. How in the world could he ever understand what most Americans face? His wife wears suits that cost more than my car. And my car is new.

Hannah also likes to make stuff up. Obama did not purchase the house ‘through the assistence’ of Rezko.
Repubs have tried to divert the attention away from McCain not knowing how many houses they have by telling that the houses are actually the property of his wife Cindy
Well, here's a real shocker for you: Rezko didn't buy anything. It was his wife, Rita Rezko, who purchased the adjoining empty lot.
Posted by: Willem van Oranje | Aug 21, 2008 10:46:32 PM
The most important point here is McCain is too insulated from the plight of the ordinary American. From choosing Phil Grahm as his economic advisor, to living the life of a multi-millionaire since he married Cindy, to his admitted ingnorance of how the economy works,McCain has shown himself unprepared and unwilling to be a president that will have ordinary Americans' best interests at heart. And don't even get me started at home dishonest it was to vote in Congress all those years, while he didn't understand how the economy works. It is shameful.
Posted by: Lydia | Aug 21, 2008 10:39:29 PM
You know, with so many houses, the problem for McCain is having good housekeepers must be a real headache for him. Not to mention the costs.
My calculation is, is must be close to $300,000.00
That's why he probably wants that tax cut for Cindy, so she can pay her staff.

republicans keep bringing up William Ayers, a guy who gave $200 to Obama's re-election board and both men sat on the board of an anti-poverty group set up over 60 years ago by a telephone executive in Chicago. That is the extent of their connections.
Ayers is a distinguished professor at the University of Illinois and has never been convicted of a crime, yet is unapologetic about his involvement in the Weathermen, a group that set off 12 bombings to protest the war in Laos and Cambodia, during which nobody was killed (three Weathermen did die when a bomb they were making blew up). Obama was eight years old at the time.
Even if there was a relationship between the two men, so what? It is the height of idiocy to say there is any connection between what Weatherman did or stood for and Obama.
For example, associates of the bin Laden family invested in GHW Bush's business. Does that mean that Bush endorsed the bombing of the World Trade Center? Of course not.
Richard Quinn, a notorious neo-confederate who has stated that slavery was good, and sells t-shirts glorifying the assassination of Lincoln, has been serving as a consultant to the McCain campaign, receiving money (50,000) for services for the campaign. Does this mean that McCain wants the South to secede? Hope not.

The meme of the week seems to be that
we don't "know enough" about Barry
and this somehow puts him behind the
eight-ball. Hell, the more we are told,
the lower his numbers go. Go figure!

oh, what happens to "it's a distraction", "it's related to gas price", "it's a typical politician". this guy makes me laugh. obama is taking a low road to catch up (also, he always looks so angry nowaday). There's nothing wrong being successful and own many houses. What is wrong is owning a big house through the assistance of a Felon Rezko. Let's talk about houses obama. Let's investigate how you get your million-dollar house.

Willem...thank you...appreciate the back up!

decentAmerican: Why are you lying about what Jennie wrote? Typical Republican Strategy. It's so easy to create a strawman and subsequently knocking that strawman down. You are disgusting and far from ‘decent’.
Jennie didn't write that Obama wasn't involved with Rezko. Jennie wrote that Obama was not involved with Rezko's *illegal* activity.
And Jennie was right. You have nothing on Obama and you have nothing on Jennie. Despite months and months of innuendo.

Hmmm...... that is the point.
McCain is out of touch with the rest of us.

Who cares how many houses McCain has? His wife owns them probably. How many homes does Ted Kennedy have? So what?
This is stupid and petty and insulting to voters.
Wealthy people like the McCains and the Kennedys have other people who count the number of houses they have and who keep track of stuff like that.

Oh, do I hear the POW defense again?
Posted by: Thinking | Aug 21, 2008 10:14:53 PM
And, who has been a guest in the Obama house of Rezko?
Could it be...William Ayers or Bernadine Dohrn?
Why would Barack Obama be friends with someone who bombed the Capitol and is proud of it?
Does anyone really know enough to elect Barack Obama?
Posted by: Jayhawk | Aug 21, 2008 10:13:49 PM
McCain admitted that he has profited and returned official acts as favors. Cindy admitted she obtained drugs fraudulently through her charity clients.
Oh, and since when is the US Presidents pay grade higher than Gods'?
Posted by: Mike | Aug 21, 2008 10:12:06 PM
yes, sure James, as opposed to Obama, when he gets the 3 am phone call, and his response will be:
"Sorry, that's above my paygrade."
LOL!!!!
Posted by: decentAmerican | Aug 21, 2008 10:10:10 PM
What's disturbing, is not that he couldn't remember how many houses he owns, but that he couldn't handle such a easy question -- he had to punt it to an adviser. I sure hope the Red Phone doesn't ring at 3 a.m. with McCain in the White House. Here's how the conversation might go: Ah duh this is John, I mean President John. What did you say, um er duh I don't remember how many houses I own.

Jennie -- OMG, what lies and plain ignorance!
Obama "not involved" with Rezko? This has been reported time and time again in Chicago papers! Kindly take a gander at the New York Post from just TODAY, and you will see an article about Obama's dealings with Rezko. It is corruption in it's purest form.
Let's get this straight also. Stop saying Obama grew up in a woe-is-me poor background. He was raised by his grandparents, went to the most exclusive school in Hawaii, and before that his mother had remarried an oil executive in Indonesian. He had the perfect example of a privleged background.
The McCain's didn't have to have a life of service, but they did. There is nothing wrong with being successful and wealthy. McCain is the son and grandson of Admirals. he didn't have to go into the military, and risk his LIFE, but he did. So you are saying he did that because it was the "easy" thing to do? What are you thinking?????
You still haven't addressed why the McCain son went into the military when he didn't have to? He was instilled the life of service that his parents have served.
Now, kindly look into Michelle's 'career" at the Univ of Chicago hospital, and tell me if that is 'service". Hint: it was pure greed.
Appalled, just appalled, at the way you people think!
Posted by: decentAmerican | Aug 21, 2008 10:06:36 PM
Mike -- I will kindly wait while you compare and contrast the years of service to America that have been served by John and Cindy McCain, along with their charity work, versus the "service" of Barack and Michelle Obama.
Go ahead, I'll patiently wait. You won't need much time with the Obama's research, since it represents NOTHING.
Until you come up with that, you have no argument and no defense criticizing the McCains.
Posted by: decentAmerican | Aug 21, 2008 9:59:41 PM
Decent American...you are the one who is lying. Both Michelle and Barack Obama come from humble backgrounds. They are both graduates of Ivy league schools and actually had student loans that they just finished paying back recently. They both have dedicated their lives to public and community service in Chicago. The money they have now is money they earned. Obama was not in any way connected to Rezko's illegal activity. The people the Obama's bought their house from have come out and said they paid the price that was negotiated. You need to stop spreading lies. The McCains were born rich. John is the son and grandson of Admirals. Cindy is the daughter of one of the biggest beer distributors in the country. It's easy to be charitable when you know you don't have to worry about money. And Megan McCain frequents the Paris Hilton party scene.

Has anyone besides me noticed McCain has been baiting Obama and he takes the bait so easy.
Posted by: keep your change | Aug 21, 2008 9:54:36 PM
Sounds like the Obama supporters are in desperation.
Posted by: keep your change | Aug 21, 2008 9:52:51 PM
When did the American dream become to inherit alot of money through no work of your own?
Since when did service mean cashing in on your votes, and scamming drugs off your clients?
Posted by: Mike | Aug 21, 2008 9:49:11 PM
Arthur -- stop spreading lies and rumors. mcCain did not "cheat" at Saddleback.....it is just simple Obama desperation that Obama did so poorly there, that the is looking to make excuses. Same old victim-card...it's never Obama's fault, always someone else.
As for this elitist claim, it is yet another desperate distraction from Precious Obama, who is losing wind quickly that he is grasping at anything.
The McCain's are rich and successful, so what? That is the American dream, isn't it? both John and Cindy have a life of service to country, and charity. I challenge you to find any inkling of similar service from BHO and Michelle.
And, it is what you do with that success that counts. The McCain children are perfect examples. their son could have lived a Paris Hilton-like life of luxury, living on their trust fund. What does his son do? Join the military. Risks his life for his country. Defends our freedom so people like you can insult his father.
Yep, call that elitist if you want.
I call that patriotism and service.
Obama and his wife have done NOTHING for this country. Got that...NOTHING.
President McCain...maverick, hero, patriot

of course when you own that many homes and life is that good , how can you relate to people living from paycheck to paycheck with mounting BILL.
In the words of John Mac_out-of-touch
I AM A RICH ...

Its not the houses, or the private jets, or the $520 shoes. Its the fact that he thinks that he's better than everyone else, that the rules don't apply to him, and the snotty condescension. Its that fake laugh that sounds like a grunt and the temper tantrums, and calling his wife nasty names. He's just not like normal people.
Posted by: Mike | Aug 21, 2008 9:41:22 PM
Washington is broken and John McCain doesn't know it.
I wonder if he knows how many places we are fighting a war, or how many places he has acted as if we should be fighting one; Iran, Syria, and Russia.
No; McCain is not suited to even count houses
Posted by: Thinking | Aug 21, 2008 9:39:33 PM
Asking John McCain how many houses he and Cindy own is like asking Rezko how much money he and his family and his associates and his businesses have contributed to Barack Obama and his political aspiriations...
Posted by: Jayhawk | Aug 21, 2008 9:36:25 PM
The scary thing about house-gate is not how many houses the McCains own but the fact that McCain doesn't know how many he owns. You would think he could count on his fingers and say, one in CA, one in AZ, etc. He admits he doesn't know much about the economy, doesn't know how to use the internet or email, and doesn't know the difference between Shi'ia and Sunni. Do I think this guy should be President of the United States? Absolutely not!
