Stumbles
August 08, 2008 9:22 AM
From the left….Talking Points Memo has compiled a low-lites video of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz, appearing "dazed and confused" on the stump -- though it's what Brit Hume called a "senior moment," not cannabis, that Democrats suggest is at play. Watch HERE.
From the right….Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, tells a 7-year-old Hoosier he’s running for president because “America is no longer what it could be, what it once was. And I say to myself: I don’t want that future for my children.” Watch HERE.

Obama is taking a well deserved vacation, Why isn't Sen McCain using this time to talk about the issues facing America? He has the American voter to himself, the media, the pundits and independent voters. Could it be that political silence that has befallen this news cycle is only substantiating the fact that Sen McCain
has no real solutions to the challenges of America. I would really hope that the media finally give McCain the attention and scrutiny he craves. I want to hear what Sen McCain has to offer, it's now or never.

80% of America thinks its heading in the wrong direction, so why is it so bad, or even worth commenting on, that Obama agrees with them?
I think McCain is very very lucky so much of the media is focussedo n Obama right now, because he is running an awful campaign. Even his appearance at the bike rally the other day was just truly embarrasing. One trying to talk about energy conservation whilst bikers rev there engines is just dumb, two suggesting you are entering your wife into a bikers beauty pageant is just ignorant of what goes on.

What do you expect of a person who sat for 20 years and listened to the hate-America sermons? He is just reflecting that philosophy and Michelle's that America is a mean-spirited country, etc, etc. Maybe he should hold his campaigns after 9 p.m. when all the kids are in bed! Course, he really believes that he is the ONE to bring peace, prosperity and love to the country!

HILLARY: I know Senator McCain has a lifetime of experience that he will bring to the White House and Senator Obama has a speech that he gave in 2002.

If 80% of the country thinks we're headed in the wrong direction, then why isn't Obama further ahead in the polls?
Because thinking people realize that while Bush drove us into a ditch, a McCain presidency can upright the bus and get it back on the road, while an Obama presidency will cause an explosion to engulf the bus in flames!

What is controversial about what Obama said? God I hate the corporate media. So in the tank for Mcsame. America isn't what it once was, anyone with half a brain knows that and knows why (Bush-Cheney)

Obama taking a vacation while Americans are suffering. Republicans are willing to work to get through the energy crisis but all the Democrats decided a vacation is better for them.

Simple question for Obama supporters:
You blame McCain's stumbles on old age.
On what do you blame Obama's stumbles?

Why don't Democrats redirect their extreme hatred toward America toward the cowards who are our enemies

Michelle Obama, aspiring First Lady: I’ve never been really proud of my country.
Barack Obama, presidential nominee: America is not what it once was, what it could be.
John McCain, presidential nominee: I’d rather lose an election than lose the war.
Ludicrus, Obamabot: If you said it, you meant it.
Barack Obama: Words do matter.

It is not just Congress like McCain and Bush want us to think. How many bills this past 4 years have Bush vetoed and refused to sign.
This is were Obama is right on how it should not be about Repubs or Dems, Independents, Socialist, it should just be about what is best for the United States and its people.
Go Obama! enjoy your vacation!

With 80% of the country saying that America is going in the WRONG direction, what's so controversial with what Obama said.
80% of the country AGREE with Obama.

Is there a communist link?
Cliff Kincaid, of Accuracy in Media, in his article entitled "AP Lies About Obama's Red Mentor," posted Aug 4, 2008, blasts a recent AP story on Frank Marshall Davis being a mentor and "an imporant influence" on Sen. Obama from 1975 to 1979 because the story omitted the fact that Frank Marshall Davis was a member of the Communist Party USA.
Mr. Kincaid writes:
"Davis was not a 'journalist' in any real sense of the term. He was a propagandist and racial agitator for the CPUSA. He was also a recruiter for the communist cause."
Mr. Kincaid also writes:
"Davis was a hard-core but secret CPUSA member with a history of involvement in CPUSA fronts who was so much of a Stalinist that he opposed U.S. participation in World War II during the Hitler-Stalin Pact, but then supported U.S. involvement after Nazi Germany invaded Soviet Russia."
And Mr. Kincaid writes:
"Not surprisingly, AP leaves many major questions unanswered. The wire service notes that Frank Marshall Davis is referred to in Obama’s book Dreams From My Father 'only as Frank.'
"But why? What does Obama have to say about this curious omission? Could it have something to do with the fact that, by the time Obama wrote his book, he knew that Davis was a Communist? And that he deliberately covered this up? Or did he know it earlier?"
Finally, Mr. Kincaid asks:
"Did Davis recruit Obama?"
"Was Obama...ever a secret CPUSA member?"
Now this is a story that the mainstream media should be looking into...but it probably won't.

Jake,
Could PLEASE post the ENTIRE clip of what Obama said to the 7 year old girl. The 7 year old girl was asked why is Obama running for president. Obama's ENTIRE answer was FANTASTIC.
You are only showing a tiny clip of what Obama.

Obama running on scare tactics. Like Obama tried to scare everybody saying the surge would do more damage than good.
Obama is like the little boy that stands in the corner that says "SEE I TOLD YOU SO"

John McCain has said many times over the years that he would rather lose an election than win a war. He backed up his words by challenging George Bush on his execution of the war in Iraq, and alienating his own Party. McCain has alienated his own party on several issues over the years. That is the difference between Obama and McCain. I can pretty much predict what McCain is going to do. I have no idea what Obama stands for. He says one thing, changes his mind, and then changes it back again, depending on the way the wind blows. I have no idea who this man really is. He reminds me of an onion. Peel away the layers, and there’s nothing at the core. I don’t always agree with John McCain, but I’m pretty sure I know where he stands on most issues. At least that gives me some level of comfort. From day to day, I don’t know where Obama stands on anything. In one day, he said THREE different things about Iraq – he’d get the troops out in 16 months, then he’d keep troops in Iraq depending on conditions on the ground, and then he went back to his commitment to get the troops out in 16 months. It’s clear to me that this man is willing to say anything to get elected. The question is, what does he really believe and what will he really do? FOB

I don't get the point about the Obama reply to the girl. Okay, I understand that this might not be the right way to respond to a 7 years old, but many Americans in surveys after surveys show their pessimism about the prospect of America. Almost everyone seems to think that they were better off 8 years ago.

McSame the Panamian Commander in Chief is confused naturally and always, age, oldness and low IQ combined. America deserves better, a better president a better leader than McBush. God bless America and God bless Obama.OBAMA08.

Obama wasn't only answering the seven year old, he was also answering his supporters at the town hall.

I will still vote for McCain because he was willing to give his life for our country.
What has Obama done other than a community organizer and attend a racist church for over 10 years and throw his white grand mother under the bus saying she was racist after she raised him up
