The only spot I want for Hillary is the nomination! No VP - it is too late now. BO had his chance and blew it!

I am a Democrat and a Hillary supporter and will STILL be voting for her as President on my ballot. Dean, Pelosi, Hussein ... all losers! O'Bama needs to reach in his pocket and pull out a miracle (many think he does this daily). I agree with many here: McCain '08 / Hillary '12

I don't think there is a chance in hell it will be Hillary Clinton as VP. Think 2004 and Kerry chosing John Edwards. I do think however that the pick might well come from someone who is not on the conventional wisdom shortlists. My sense is that there actually hasn't been a lot coming out of the campaign and they haven't really openly talked about anyone or anything, I think a lot of it is media chat at the moment.

McCain is screwed if he picks anyone to the left of Timothy McVeigh, the right wing evangelicals will desert him. Eric Randolph and Jim David Adkisson might be available.

Kerry picked Edwards early on and they were ahead in the polls all summer and look how that turned out.

Ok sure Obama doesn't need Hillary to win, just like Al Gore didn't need President Clinton to win. Oh wait he didn't win,....a sitting vice president lost to that idiot who been sitting in office for 7 years! But don't worry you can still blame " The Clintons" when Obama loses because we all know he messiah can do no wrong he is without fault.

"Obama does not need Hillary at all."
We're about to find out.
One thing is sure, the media needs the Clintons. Otherwise, distractions from Obama's falling numbers are hard to come by.
The hedge fund investors must be apoplectic. The San Fran investors are being told he "will win" and as much as confidence sells well, the only basis for that claim at this time is the money invested.

marylou, Obama is saved by McSame and failed republican policies put in place during the last 8 years by WBush-Cheney-McCain. Obama does not need Hillary at all.

I second Marylou....I love Hillary but could not cast a vote Obama's way with her in #2 spot. Really....only Byah is suited for that spot as he seems non threatening to Obama's shortcommings which are too many to elect him POTUS.

At this point it doesn't matter who Obama picks. Even Hillary can't save him.
