And Obama is so respectful of "life" and so concerned with our military, he tried to get the Iraqis to NOT negotiate American withdrawal until after January 20th?!!! And Obama wants to invade Pakistan. He wants to merely take Americans out of Iraq and send them to Afghanistan. He says that we can't deal with Russia in Georgia because "we are spread too thin"---so I've got to assume he means by that that he wants ground troops in George and wants a war with Russia.

He advocates reducing "wasteful" defense spending on weapons systems by billions. Does he and you know that these very expensive weapons systems and the reason this war is so very expensive is because we spend those billions to SAVE American lives in battle and to minimize collateral damage/killing of civilians. Obama hasn't named the weapons systems he plans on dumping. I'd like to hear some specifics. I do know he has promised to dismantle our missle defense system unilaterally. He won't "tip his hand" on what he'll do as regards Iran, but he's already told the world that the US has taken the aces out of the deck and will also eliminate most of the kings and queens--so what we have left is the joker. He is so "nuanced" he tells the rape victim (Georgia) to lay back and enjoy...it took him 3 DAYS to discover Putin had invaded a sovereign country who was no threat to Russia or her citizens or to world peace.

I've listened to Obama and I'm sorry. I don't think they teach history at his universities and expensive prep school. They sure don't teach critical thinking skills.

We in the middle may be too, too bourgeois for those attending the Hollywood gala tonight, but we simple folk DO understand who's telling the lies here...and it's not McCain or Palin or the young woman who survived a late-term abortion.

Bush tried to gett Congress to pass legislation dealing with the subprime problem. The Congress didn't. McCain warned about Freddie and Fanny two years ago. And guess what? Freddie and Fanny was controlled by Democrats who had Democrat cronies in the Congress. Has anyone seen an ethics investigation of the Democrat Chairman of the Banking and Currency Committee who got sweetheart loans from the head of Countrywide? Has anyone done an investigation of Schumer starting a run on a California bank? You are aware that Obama is Wall Street's candidate?

McCain wants a 9-11 type commission to find out the who-what-where's. He's called what Wall Street has been up to as greedy gamblers playing with our economy. He's called repeatedly for reform of the splintered regulatory agencies which were designed in the 1930's and never been reformed.

And while we're at the blame game, you do know that the law which allowed this loan anything to anybody financial world was passed under Bill Clinton? And you might want to trace the genesis of this mess even one step further. Check out what one Congressman St. Germaine did to our financial system a couple of years before he got indicted.

Finally, about the out-of-control budget. Yes, the war is costly, but the long-term, uncontrolled debt is totally attributable to entitlement programs. Get out your calculator. We can pay the short-term war debt. The one we will never pay and which will continue to grow is the entitlement portion--and Obama wants to INCREASE uncontrollable entitlements.

What is so complicated about this issue? He voted against medical intervention when a baby is born alive after a botched abortion. ANd this law to protect these innocents was voted aye overwhelmingly to provide immediate medical attention, Yes, they are NOW American Citizens! He voted NO! Only a sick demented person would vote NO on something like this. And added language to this bill? just a good excuse to use when you voted no on a crucial issue and no God fearing person could understand why. READ the Bill !I Vote MCCain!

It's unnatural to have a baby then try to kill the baby with success. People who allow doctors to kill their babies after the babies are born are not thinking of the life that lives and the life who wants to live. Who would support a law as this. The doctors are murdering a baby. God must be weeping for the little babies because of man's doings by disposing their lives to a nearby trash can. This is sick. Someone should speak for the sweet little babies. Our society is breaking to even allow this type of murder while people are against capital punishment.

I watched this young woman on FOX news last night describing the process her mother took to try and take her life. I feel completely sick to my stomach. What gives us the right to decide to take the life of another human being? That right should be REVOKED and revoked immediately. I consider myself reluctantly pro-choice. I will never make the choice to get an abortion, but I do not agree that the government should overturn Roe vs. Wade without the votes of the American people. Those rights should be left to the individual states. Sarah Palin, while she personally does not believe in abortion under any circumstances, has made it clear that the states should decide. I agree with her, and so do the founding fathers who wrote the Constitution of the United States.

However, the rights granted to people to conduct late-term abortions should be revoked. That is no longer a woman's choice. There are a multitude of resources out there for women - birth control products that are often free with state funding, the morning-after pill for rape victims and young women who have an "oops" moment and want to PREVENT a pregnancy from happening. Depending on your state, there is so much money going to support sex education. How about education on conception and the life of a child?

And as has been stated before, the wording is the same.

According to Factcheck, "It is worth noting that Illinois law already provided that physicians must protect the life of a fetus when there is "a reasonable likelihood of sustained survival of the fetus outside the womb, with or without artificial support."

Obama is not a baby killer! He has two daughters. He is a family man.
