Dear Senator McCain
September 12, 2008 3:25 PM
Here is Gov. Palin's list of earmark requests from February 2008.
Will you please stop telling the American people that she never asked for or received any pork barrel projects?
Respectfully,
Jake

For some reason the "list of earmarks" doesn't load...are the Karl Rove operatives blocking the information as well as distorting and lying their way through the mouths of McCain and Palin. If our country loves the way Cheney and Bush have governed they will really love the McCain/Palin policies. We can't afford another term of the Bush/McCain plans. Wake up America and vote for Obama/Biden 08

Dear Senator McCain
Your campaign has been
unleashing a barrage of
half-truths, falsehoods,
distortions and outright
lies about your own voting
record and now about the
spotty record of your
running mate on an
unsuspecting public.
Sir, your unbecoming behavior
leaves us with no choice other
than to confer upon you the
titles of the "Master of Mendacity"
and the "Sultan of Shadiness".
Have a Good Day! Sir.
Respectfully,
Obama/Hillary '08

Schmit and Rove campaign ads scare everyone because they are branding the Media as “Piranhas!”, Democrats are “Wolves” and talented Artists are just lite “Celebrities” without talent and their voice doesn't count. Schmidt and Rove have branded Palin as their Barracuda and Pit Bull.
Now Schmit and Rove are attempting to play the victim when ever the Democrat's response or the mainstream media starts asking the questions that are on the minds of the voters.
This will be the election that will be studied by historians. How did they do it? They took out everyone with negative ads and then created their own celebrity who is running on a open playing field now. Barracuda and Pit Bull running down field carrying the football. Can a goldfish stop them. I'm checking out a video - Trained Goldfish Performs Amazing Tricks!!. Can all talking dogs stop them? I look at the video -Talking Dogs. This election may decided by a gold fish and all talking dogs taking on Schmidt and Rove's Barracuda and Pit Bull. I have faith in the gold fish who says “No worries Team. Everything is going to be all right!” Our Goldfish runs onto the playing field to take on Schmidt and Rove's Barracuda. A determined mutt joins our gold fish to take on Schmidt and Rove's Pit Bull.

Palin is a case study in with-holding some important facts and telling half truths. Lipstick indeed.

Gee did anyone tell that idiot broad that most of the oil produced by Alaska is shipped to foreign countries not to the USA.

People mention Ted Stevens and that's supposed to automatically make anything that Palin has done ok?
Lets remind folks that Palin used to support and work on behalf of Stevens until it became convenient not to.
Palin's dangerous.

Personally, I don't think there is anything wrong with earmarks provided it is used to establish People oriented Programmes.
But earmark to study the mating habits of Crabsand Seals? Can someone explain the benefits of these to the People of Alaska.
My grouse with Mrs Palin is that She has been lying all over the Country.
We don't know her. She would do herself and the Ticket she represents a favor if she starts coming out clean.
Americans are not Morons. The lies may go unnoticed for a few dates, but trust Americans, they will search for the truth and the lies will start haunting her and Mccain the way it is fast become their achelles heel.
Bunch of lies. Earmarks lies, Bridge to no where lies, Plane on e-bay lies etc.

She didn't get a passport until this year.
That's all I need to know about her.
SHE IS UNQUALIFIED.

Sarah Palin is the best thing to enter politics in a LONG LONG TIME!!!
She is what American Women want. Charlie Gibson was so condescending and out of line with his attitue towards the respectable Gov. of Alaska and the REPUBLICAN VP NOMINEE that I wanted to gag.
Put his treatment of Obama side by side to his treatment of Palin... the bias is clear. He is a misogynist and a sexist who couldn't stand the idea of a woman in charge.
Gibson, as is the rest of the media and online trolls who attack her based on her GENDER, have lost all my respect and I will never again listen to or watch them for my information. Its a sad day when you can't even stand to watch the nightly news due to unfair and biased reporting. If Gibson wants to preach from a pedestal he should take over Wrights job... otherwise, let us, the PEOPLE, make our OWN choices!
I never vote by party... I am an Independant. If Obama had showed he had the 'right stuff' I would have voted for him.
But all he has shown me is that he is a liar and a fraud and a hater of women. He goes against the democratic traditions and wants to lead the country he won't even pledge allegiance to.
McCain is a patriot and hasn't asked me to vow my soul away to him like Obama with his 'messianic' message. McCain and Palin want to make America great... and I would like to live in the America that McCain and Palin are talking about.
So for this Independant, its McCain Palin 08!!

All Sarah Palin did was keep repeating her line about giving government back to the people. What people would those be? Karl Rove? The lobbyists that are running McCain's campaign? She struggled for an answer to Gibson's question about what McCain/Palin plans to change to improve the economy, spewing out soundbites from her speeches and a few old saws about "finding efficiencies". She seems to have no knowledge of how Social Security is funded or how much money it needs to remain solvent. This pretty lightweight clearly can only parrot talking points and has no real knowledge of federal affairs, except as they apply to Alaska's requests for earmarks. She's very slick and can come up with some platitude for every occasion, but she's all style and no substance. Not to mention, how can any woman be in favor of forcing rape and incest victims to give birth to the child of their tormentor? She tried to slide this by as "my personal opinion," but she gave no indication of understanding that other women should be able to make decisions based on their beliefs, not hers. And oh yeah, does anyone really believe she's Hillary Clinton's No. 1 fan all of a sudden? What a first-class, A-1 phoney.

Plain is Alaska's earmark queen.

Charles Gibson seems like a judge and jury. He's asking hard questions and she's hitting them out of the park. Obama could never answer questions this fully. I see why McCain picked her.

I am watching Sarah Palin with Charles Gibson. She is cleaning his clock on how state government by the people works.

Biden is a champion of earmarks. Check his record. Remember the funds that were sent to Louisiana for the levees. Check that and see what the elected democrats did.

"More and more people are viewing the press the way Rush Limbaugh does"
"A rigorous, adversarial press is GOOD thing for our country and democracy."
Remarkable

MSM has really exposed itself. More and more people are viewing the press the way Rush Limbaugh does - as the drive bys. MSM has always been biased, but this election cycle it has been worse.
A rigorous, adversarial press is GOOD thing for our country and democracy. What happens when we can't trust the press? What happens when the press appears to be a part of the Democratic nominee's campaign?
What the MSM is doing is bad for journalism and bad for the United States. Take a deep breath and a long, long look in the mirror. If you don't see any bias, you're not looking. All anyone wants is fairness for both sides. We sure aren't getting it this time.

Becky -
You must only watch Fox or you would know that for the past nineteen months, every name that you mention has been covered ad nauseum by the MSM. I thought for a while that Jeremiah Wright was running for President.
On what basis are you calling an Editor of the Harvard Law Review and a University of Chicago Constitutional Law Professor a "Chicago thug?"

It's like this- That's the way to get state funds for roads, bridges etc., just what she said she did and that's how the states get those funds. You know this. She didn't take the pork to the bridge to nowhere after the citizens said they didn't want it for that bridge. She listened to the people's voices. She can be celebrated for listening to the people's voices. Her and McCain want to reform the pork spending because they know it's so much wasteful spending. She axed that deal and made reforms in her state. Now, she wants to take that same reform to Washington. God Bless her for being an outsider. No wonder, we cannot get rid of pork spending when even the citizens do not understand it or by using this as a political smear or plea to help Obama when he's losing points (now, even in blue state Michigan).

Reggie,
"If you don't like the answers you heard blame your candidate. She has lied shamelessly about her record and obviously knows very little about domestic or foreign policy. She bombed not Gibson."
What's even scarier is that she must've told McCain this crap and he simply took her word for it. He must be either very embarassed or very much infatuated.
Obama 08!
