Diddy Weighs in on Sarah Palin; Meghan McCain on Bristol

September 02, 2008 12:35 PM

Says Diddy: "Attention John McCain, attention John McCain, my name is Diddy…I had to check in with you to tell you that you are bugging the f--- out. I don't even understand what planet you're on right now.! This is the job to be the leader of the free world.

"Ok," Diddy continues, "No disrespect. I love you. I want you to live to be 110, but things happen. What if, God forbid, you got a running mate, you become president -- Alaska? Alaska? Alaska? Alaska? Come on, man. I don’t know if there's any black people in Alaska.

"John, like, come on!" Diddy entreaties. "Sarah Palin? Yo, if you really think that we're gonna let you win this election with these, like, crazy, these crazy decisions that you're making, you're buggin'. "

Meanwhile, over at the blog of McCain's daughter Meghan, some thoughts on Gov. Palin's daughter Bristol.

"The first political convention I ever attended was when my mom was pregnant with me in 1984 and the Republican Party nominated Ronald Reagan for a second term as President," Meghan McCain writes. "I have been on political stages and in campaigns since before I could walk or talk. If there is one thing I have learned, it is that it is difficult to establish your identity and independence as the son or daughter of a politician.

"When I was 14 years old," she continues, "a reporter questioned my father about me having a hypothetical abortion, had I been pregnant at 14. This reporter's question single-handedly changed my life. This story comes up in almost every profile written about me and in almost every interview.

"It's a rough go being the son or daughter of a politician," she writes. "I have not known Bristol Palin very long, but there is a certain kinship I feel to her as I do other political daughters such as Chelsea Clinton, Jenna and Barbara Bush and Mary Cheney. You can't fully understand it unless you have lived it. So I just wanted to let it be known that I support Bristol and the entire Palin family."

Wow, we have a Chicago thug with 143 days of experience, who illegially bought a house from an indicted lobbist and has no accomplishments except ties to a terrorist whom he served with on some board, nominated for president.
Then theres "thug diddy" a guy who doesn't know diddly about what real music is and can't even write an essay better than a 3rd grader giving his ghetto speech ? What a joke.

Well, thank goodness we now know what Puff Daddy, I mean Puffy, or is that p-diddy, oh that's right it's just Diddy this week has to say about the election.

Maybe next we should ask Brittney Spears for her views on the candidates' foreign policy positions, or perhaps see if carrot top wants to weigh in on the economy.

Sean Colbs' (diddley, I mean diddy) opinon matters only in the arena of entertainment, particularly music and then only within a limited genre. His opinions on politics are about as useful as asking Miley Cyrus to evaluate whether or not the space shuttle can be continued past it's originally planned retirement date.

Are you kidding me!?!?! How can anyone take someone like "diddy" serious, or even give him the time of day. This is a grown man who can't even decide what he wants his own name to be.

The Palin pick says alot about McCain, and not much of it good, I'm afraid. Firstly, he wanted Lieberman as VP, but wouldn't stand up to the extreme religious right to get what he wanted. Where's the courage and character in that? Second, if he's really about 'country first', how could he risk putting the country in the hands of a small-town mayor from Alaska that just got her passport last year and needs to go to a foreign-policy 'boot camp'? He put the country second, and political expediency first - that says it all about McCain, doesnt it? Lastly, even when he decided to pick Palin, he didn't bother to take the time to find out if she has the judgement and character required for the job. Now we find she supports abstinence-only education while her teenage daughter's pregnant, she raised funds for the incredibly corrupt Ted Stevens, she was for the bridge to nowhere before she was against it, she thinks US troops should only be sent on missions from God, he was part of an organisation that supports Alaska seceding from the USA, that she pressured for a state trooper to be fired because of a family vendetta. It's just horrifying, really. Says it all about McCain.

Why would anyone with even a shred of intelligence care what some rapper named "Diddy" thinks of John McCain? Maybe we oughta care what "Larry the Cable Guy" thinks of Barack Obama? Just because an entertainer has access to a microphone, that doesn't mean it's a good idea for them to offer their political views to the rest of us. Just kindly "STFU" will ya?

Sadly, I've seen this quote all over the news today. Ya know what Diddy? I'm a democrat too, and I think there are reasons to question Sarah Palin as choice in a leader (family issues totally aside, which has no place in the political arena) but to call her out for being from Alaska? A place with no diversity? Alaska is rightfully a state and political leaders can come from any one of our states. And Alaska is actually quite diverse, so your main "argument" is baseless. So please go away. You are giving democrats a bad name and justifying the stereotypes against us!

The one's who are there probably moved there to make sure they didn't have to see idiots like this on that stupid MTV Channel churning out more boy and girl groups! Yoo hoo! We sure need more of that .. stupid goof!

Just so that Diddy can become more informed. Alaska does actually have black people in it. Alaska's percentage of black people 3.7%
California 6.7%
If Alaska has zero crime or crack heads than she must be doing a good job.I think Diddy is out of touch with all people nt just black people. I mean he was just whining about not flying his private jet. Boo hoo

BC,

Corruption? Seriously, Obama earmarked how much money for a company that his wife obtained employment at? Oh, let's not mention that when he became Senator she got a nice hefty pay raise.

Democrats are more corrupt than Republicans, republicans are just more open about it.

Face it women .. the Obama campaign doesn't believe you should hold a position of power - anytime, anywhere! WAKE UP!!

So I am really disturbed by the remarks that have been posted by some of you. So what if Diddy chooses to speak his mind on what he believes in, yes he is indeed one voice, but you all need to remember that we all have a voice too. It doesn't matter if he is a rapper, entertainer, etc...he is just letting his voice be heard as all of us should. There have been a lot of racist remarks that have been said on here and I don't think that I would feel comfortable with most of the people that are voting on here for president because of how low you all are stooping. Anyways I can't say that I agree with any of you but all I have to say is may the best man win...
