Gomer,

"Congress Set for IPO; Lawmakers to be Publicly Traded on Stock Exchange.

That would be an actual headline if McCain is elected."

-------------------------------------
By then it will be referred to as the "KBR Congressional Hall", where earmarks are a thing of the past.

YourGameLetsPlay,

"Wow, no one wants to talk about Biden.... Sarah is ALL the NEWS. Obama goes after her to get a tiny bit of the humungous spotlight she holds."

Yep, Celebrity is everything,..don't ya know.

(How long are these peoples attention spans?)

It's truly amazing to see how the GOP manipulates the "base" of their party. The simply used the script from Birth of A Nation for this campaign season.

Is this the same jet Palin put on Ebay?

Posted by: Maria | Sep 6, 2008 5:06:49 PM

Obama should change the name of his jet.

He should change it from "O-Force One" to..."Zero-Force One" and let it reflect how much executive experience he has.

It is being reported BO's denver thing discarded American Flags in the "trash". Boys Scouts have these and will bring to John McCain's rally in Colorado Springs. BO has disssed Small-Town America, his wife was not proud of America until a few months ago, and now he and supporters are throwing our American flags into the trash. What is wrong with this guy? We must learn now his reasons for doing this, before the election.

McCain/PLAIN

Republicans Simplify Tax Code; Taxpayers to Write Checks Directly to Halliburton.

Another headline possible if McCain gets in the Whitehouse.

McCain/Plain down in Flames......

Shock & Awe what a joke

It was Geritol & Prune Juice I saw that old foggy crowd at the RNC convention, at least thats the last time they will be seen at your conventions. Next one they will be nursing home bound.

FYI to all you blogging Republicans a war is won when the enemy army is defeated. That means we had victory in Iraq in the year 2003 with the defeat of the Iraqi army.

We have then been an occupying force who has been attacked by foreign insurgents, and Iraqi insurgents. Pulling out our troops in no way is defeat since we already defeated the army we went there to conquer. So to all you loud mouthed idiots who claim anyone who wants our armed forces sent home are invested in defeat you need to return to grade school where you belong.

Simple answer to Palin not talking to reporters is the fact if asked any tough questions without a Republican party hack speech writer with her to give her the answer she will sound just like a Hockey Mom un-intellegent and moronic about anything but hockey.

"McCain leads by three among men, little changed in recent days."

Something smells fishy about that poll.
According to CNN in 2004 men supported Bush by +11%.

Posted by: geevill | Sep 6, 2008 1:28:14 PM

A NEW GAME PLAN or PLANE ... or BABE needed to halt the SLIDE :

"According the latest CNN Poll of Polls, Obama now leads the Arizona senator by three points, 45 percent to 42 percent. Last Thursday's Poll of Polls showed the Illinois senator up by four points, 47 percent to McCain's 43 percent.

The latest CNN analysis of several recent surveys DOES NOT include any post Republican National Convention tallies.

"While the race appears to be tightening up a bit, it's worth keeping in mind that we still haven't seen any polling conducted after the Republican Convention,"

SHOCK and AWE !!!

McCain = Workplace : OVAL OFFICE
Obama = Workplace : GRECIAN TEMPLE

Posted by: McCain/Palin 2008 | Sep 6, 2008 1:13:29 PM

Obama on his stump speech today is dripping with phrases like: America is so beautiful, and we are so blessed to be Americans.

Maybe he noticed how patriotic the GOP convention came off compared to the glitz and glamour of his Hollywood convention.

A simple flag on a screen compared to a $6 million temple to himself.

Wonder which one impressed those small-town American voters he needs.

On the international front ...

With a Resurgent Russis and the likes of Medvedev today reported to be saying "THAT RUSSIA MUST BE RECKONED WITH", AND a SURGE STRATEGY is that succeeding in IRAQ; there appears to be an unfortunate conspiracy of events that is not working against OBAMA and his game plan.

On a domestic front ...

Even his campaign strategist, Axelrod admitted "I can honestly say that we weren't prepared for that,". Obama camp is in a little disarray. Biden, a loose cannon, is relatively mute, threading carefully and hoping for surrogates to do the attack dog these days.

A New Game Plan / Plane is in order to stop this slide

Why won't Sarah Palin talk to reporters? Jake, is this reasonable? First they don't vet her, then they won't allow her to be vetted. Talk about an empty celebrity!

Is there anyone out there who can not figure out that McCain is testing Americans IQ?

How on earth McCain is claiming is going to Change Washington while his campaign has been totally financed by lobbyists!

Posted by: Peace | Sep 6, 2008 11:51:15 AM

If McCain still has trouble getting consistantly over 45% after the convention bounce he is finished because Gov Palins popularity is going to only go down from here. When I was standing in line at the grocery store this morning I saw 3 women reading intently about Sarahs "affair" with her husbands business partner. If this country is stupid enough to give Bush a second term in 2004 they are dumb enough to believe the cover of the National Enquirer.

katmandu

When women learn of Palin's extremist views, that will change.

Posted by: AkaDad | Sep 6, 2008 11:49:15 AM

McCain is still searching for who he is.
The Convention was once again a new makeover for McCain. Sarah was brought to show a new more progressive McCain. He brings he on shows her off then tells her to shut up and lay low. Bare foot, Pregnant, and in the Kitchen. Submissive Sarah.

Yup, Yup, just like typical right wing Republicans. Change Indeed!

Posted by: Thinking | Sep 6, 2008 11:41:30 AM

Palin effect? From Rasmussen today -- where Obama has a one point lead, three if you include leaners:

As McCain has begun to chip away as [sic] Obama’s convention bounce, most of his gains have come among women voters. Obama still leads 51% to 44% among women, but that seven-point edge is just half the fourteen point lead he enjoyed last Tuesday. McCain leads by three among men, little changed in recent days.

One-third of the interviews were conducted after Palin's speech.

Well, I have listend to both Obama and "McBush" and its pretty evident that Obama is the lesser of the two evils.
