I think Obama will have to take off Hillary's choke collar and let her go to work on Palin.

If you guys want Obama for President so bad, you might as well vote Bin Laden in. I would rather have a veteran and pro-lifer than someone who socializes with terrorists!

zen, here's a tip for you -- when you're trying to persuade women to do something, don't call us "girls" in a condescending way.
I won't be lured into Obama's snake pit with threats of how powerful Palin will be against Hillary in '12. For one, if we don't see this match-up in '12, we very likely will in '16. So what's the difference?
And you Obama brutes have already told us that 72 is too old for a man to run for president, so surely you'll tell us the same about a 68-year-old Hillary in '16.
The best chance for Hillary in '12 is McCain in '08. The fact that he's the best choice for our country over Obama is just a great big beautiful bonus!

No the change that McCain wants is to bash the intellectuals and any one that has European ideas[ap].Maybe you look different "foreign" I believe is the code word, your not a hockey mom ,soccer mom, NASCAR dad, you live in a city and your educated you have a world view and you think it takes a village to help raise your family,-ie schools, extended family, neighbors, friends, then your some how bad or on the fringe maybe even evil, dose that not give you that warm fuzzy feeling? Well be afraid very afraid. The right wing "Conservative" brings something else to mind,Germany a wounded war veteran who wrote a book and a God fearing right wing conservative who found his country receptive because of their plight after a bitter war and bad economic times. The intellectuals, educated foreigners, ones that were liberal, and folks that didn't "share their values" NOT LIKE US. The Jews fit the bill, diffrent religon, businessmen, intellectuals, liberal, not like us. This right wing group with it's leader invoked Gods name and went on a crusade to right many perceived wrongs and to settle old scores. The church blessed them and their weapons and they went out in Gods name to make the world in their image and well you know the rest

it has been downhill since that Berlin speech even this Southern Democrat who happens to be AA im writing in Hillary name as a protest vote democrat selected once again another loser Obama attitude on TV has looked as he is rattled and so is his advisors they say that Mccain is negative ive seen so much negativity from my party its a shame. Mccain speech tonite was very presidential. Obama should have had a traditional acceptance speech it would played out better. Cheering fans dont make up for rather skinny record.

To the contrary, Zen.
I look forward to a presidential race between Clinton and Palin.
What could be more history making and exciting?

Pumas,
If you want hillary in any future for the election, you should not support this Maccain/Palin ticket.
She has more potential to beat hillary in 2012 if she is elected VP this time.
So be careful.
You will support your future enemy.
It's better that you wait in 8 years after Obama/biden presidency.
I know, you hate obama. but be wise, girls.

Why do Republicans assume that Everyone gets paid to support their candidate?
Posted by: Leonard Peltier | Sep 4, 2008 10:09:31 PM
Bea,
I hope you are right, but I have to say that I'll believe it when I see it - that 'uniter' thing has left me a bit sceptical.

I am a Hillary Supporter Still. I will vote for neither of the two parties.
Posted by: Linda | Sep 4, 2008 10:02:20 PM
One thing my husband and I both noticed while watching the republican convention was that most of the people in the audience were older and a lot of the women had some awfully big diamonds hanging from their ears. We counted about 10 young people the whole night. I think Palin and her family made up most of them. Oh, and somebody from the McCain camp should let Palin in on their new strategy. Attacking at the podeum is no longer on message. Convienently that message is being conveyed tonight. The night after Palin opened fire.

foodforthought-
Palin also raised 10 million for Obama!
Palin is not running for President and it's sad that your real Presidential candidate only put a woman on the ticket to get the Hillary voters and they aren't even going to him...and Palin turns out to be more popular than him.
And he hates women!
SUCKER!!!!!

Hey FoodFighter,
Is this your first election?
Posted by: Leonard Peltier | Sep 4, 2008 9:58:58 PM
If Rush Limbaugh is supporting Palin...that must say VERY little about Palin.
Her views are so extreme.
Iraq is God's will.
Her pipeline in AK is God's will.
Rape and incest are social mistakes.
Community organizing is nothing to be proud of.
Posted by: megan | Sep 4, 2008 9:57:02 PM
sarah also said that the iraq war is God's plan.
That's how the al-Aqada idiots speak and justify their senseless war nad killing?
By saying it's Allah's (God's) will?
Let's get this straight...the IRAQ war was BUSH'S plan...and now Palin is backing it up. AND OUR TROOPS NEED TO COME HOME!!! THEY KNOW IT AND THAT IS WHY THEY ARE SUPPORTING OBAMA.
