Rove: Biden is a "Big, Blowhard Doofus"
September 01, 2008 3:20 PM
From Minnesota, we hear from Politicker ME that Karl Rove told the Maine Republican delegation to the GOP Convention that Sen. Barack Obama's running mate, Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., a "big, blowhard doofus."
"He's a great American," Biden responded with more than a hint of sarcasm when asked about Rove's comments on a Monday evening flight from Scranton, PA, to Wilmington, DE.
"Apparently he didn't get the memo," the Delaware senator added, referring to his belief that due to Hurricane Gustav both parties should refrain from partisan politics for the moment.
"So can we call you Senator Doofus now?", a reporter asked the veep candidate.
"You can call me anything you want," Biden responded. "I learned a long time ago you can call me anything you want."
Once Gustav has passed, the Delaware lawmaker predicted that neither campaign will have any problems getting back to business on the trail.
"I don't think people will have any trouble resuming the campaign - Karl didn't hesitate," Biden concluded.
Notified of Rove's comments earlier Monday, Biden spokesman David Wade said in a statement, "It's more than a little sad that with another hurricane heading for the Gulf Coast, Karl Rove is up to the same old attack politics that he practically patented while helping dig a deep hole for our country to get out of. Americans expect better, especially at a time like this."

Thank God someone (Karl Baby) speaks the truth in politics today. That "hair plugs gone wrong" poster boy is a worthless liar-- and a racist. But he does have a nice estate-- all that wealth from serving in the Senate-- tells you a lot about his lack of character

What I want to know is this: Why does anyone give any platform to Rove? Why quote any of his spew? This is the guy who succeeded in making Bush & Cheney among the worst and most disrespected presidents and veep in history. If we ignore him like the creepy doughboy he is he'll eventually disappear into oblivion along with his slimy cohorts.

That coming from a man who admits to being a burglar, I find amazing. Rove broke into a Democratic Headquarters once to steal stationary to send out false political mailings, he freely admits to this as the statue of limitatioins is past and he smiles when he tells the story, that is all I need to know hs a sleze bag who has no room to say a damn thing about anyone else.

Senator "Duffas" needs hurricanes to protect him from his historically documented political gaffes.

Why is this man still at large?

Whether youre a Dem or Rep, REMEMBER: Karl Rove outed a CIA agent for no other reason than political payback. Now he's running scared from a congressional subpoena on the matter. Cowardice and treason - he belongs at Gitmo with the other terrorists.

The best part of this campaign came when McCain hired the same guy, Tucker Eskew, who subverted his South Carolina campaign in 2000 by smearing him for having a 'black child out of wedlock' (actually his adopted Bangladeshi daughter).
McCain in 2000: 'There's a special place in hell for people like you.'
McCain in 2008: 'You're Hired!!'

Why is Obama not in jail where he belongs with his friends????????????????

Shouldn't it be Dufus? You gotta love it when the Dems upon hearing this, bring up Gustav and how such an uncivil and dastardly a comment can be made while the whole country watches the local Democrat machine screw up another relief operation and then blame it on the Republicans.

I despise Rove, but in this instance, he is actually right. On the campaign trail with O, Biden looks like a complete doofus. And the word "doofus" is perfect because because it evokes this old, throwback, dorky guy trying to be cool, and failing miserably. Which describes Biden to a tee.

John McCain promised the American people that he will follow Bin Laden to the pits of hell.Karl Rove should join McCain.Thats where they all belong.

Rove was just being kind to the hapless Biden.

Karl Rove is one of those people you always want to stay clear of, because when God opens up the earth and swallows him whole, you just don't want to be anywhere near him.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
That was so funny!! The only thing is, God is not going to be the one opening up the earth and taking him to the fiery furnace. God doesn't want him. LOL
