Seemingly Nervous About Palin's Popularity, New Obama TV Ad Attacks McCain, Palin as Un-Mavericky

The Obama campaign is issuing a response TV ad to McCain's "Mavericks" ad released this morning. (Linked to in previous post.)
Want evidence the Obama campaign is worried about Gov. Sarah Palin? Look no further than this ad, which attacks her, too.
Here's the script:
Obama VO: I’m Barack Obama and I approved this message.
ANNOUNCER: They call themselves mavericks. Whoa. Truth is ... they’re anything but. John McCain is hardly a maverick ... when 7 of his top campaign advisors are Washington lobbyists. He’s no maverick when he votes with Bush 90 percent of the time.
ANNCR: And Sarah Palin’s no maverick, either. She was for the bridge to nowhere before she was against it.

Palin was FOR "the bridge to nowhere", then she was against it. She ADORED sen. Stevens, now she avoids him like the plague. Just learned today that the bridge was nixed, BUT, Alaska got all that money anyway. How do you like them apples? How do you feel about a mini population, oil rich state getting millions and millions of tax dollars from the rest of us? Ear-mark Sarah will find a way do divert even greater sums to her rich friends up there. If she is so wonderful, how come it's a REPUBLICAN legislature that is investigating her. Has she been back there since old man McCain picked her? Is the "first dude" a stay-at-home mom because Ms conservative doesn't get home a lot? All her worts will come out soon enough.

This is very stupid, the truth is the truth! No matter what anybody says at the end of the day we believe what we want to believe. If you like living the way you have been for the last 8 years vote McCain. If you would like to live better and live the way you did when Bill Clinton was president vote Obama. Its that simple and no one is wrong. Your vote depends on what you think is right and what you believe the truth is. Its not a black or white issue or a woman or a man issue its about the truth. I feel the truth is that Obama has been chosen to make a difference in all of our lives. Everybody will benefit from Obama because he stands for change.

What is happening to the free world. I am not American I was born in a country where women were the first to get the vote.The NZ prime minister is a woman and does a fine job.She doesn't spend her weekends out shooting at deer and telling women who have been raped that they should have the baby of their attacker.Do the moose have a right to life?I just want to comment that you have the rest of the world in your hands when you vote, not just America. We all go down with you in the political choices you make and you guys certainly haven't been doing a very good job lately.

The best thing Obama could have done was to stand up to the lying republicans by creating that ad. No need to let the lies settle into anyone's psyche while McCain shelters his new chick. We all knew Sarah Palin was lying last week and so was her main man McCain.
Now Obama's calling them out for blatent lies. Great move Obama! 2008 is the year swift-boating ends!!
