Unanswered Question Watch, Day 9: Are McCain-Palin Endorsing Sen. Ted Stevens' Re-election?
September 18, 2008 7:25 AM
It's really not an unfair question at all, no matter how much Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin don't want to answer it.
Do these self-styled reformers support the indicted King of Pork for re-election?
Do they value reform over partisanship?
And yet...

McCain supporting Sen. Ted Stevens and Vise-Versa? What happen to his cutting the pork policy? Maybe its for money, to keep Palin out of jail? They have moved beyond 'like Bush', and more 'like Nixon'. Why does Palin get double standards? And I don't want to hear, it is because she is a woman.

I believe it is us who vote people into office so we are the ones who are ultimately responsible for the mess that Bush and company have created. However, I think it is unlikely the Democrats would have prevented the current mess. We need a third party with candicates who really do put the USA as a whole first. But I am not holding my breath, because those candidates would probably not get elected as thay would probably say that we need to undergo some pain whereas the two major parties would say that they would immediately eliminate all pain.

Jake,
I expected as much. Ask Sarah about the legislative investigation against her as governor. It has become a total cover-up now!!! She said she would be open and had nothing to hide. Appears not so!! John McCain has sent top lawyers up and they are turning this from a fair investigation into total cover-up and avoidance to get a the real truth. Shocking as 100% of all legislators voted for investigation as evidence existed she fired police commissioner because he would not fire her brother inlaw.
Real sham!!! Please go research from beginning. I have saved documents from divorce trial, police investigation of her brother in-law, all news articles since this has begun.

Jake, how dould I possibly feel any more insulted than I already do?

John McCain and the Republican party have presented us with a nicely wrapped package and gave us a lovely fairy tale story about what was inside the package.
But they are fighting us tooth and nail tto prevent us from looking inside that package. Their only hope is if they can run out the clock until the election, before people figure out the kind of person Sarah Palin really is.
We are told she is tough enought to take on the big boys, and then we are told she is so weak that she is being victimized if people ask her questions.
They tell us she should be treated with 'deference' (you know the way you would treat a Pope or a Queen), which is confusing because she sure sounds like a Republicon Politician to me.

Obama DID endorse Kwame "Hip Hop Mayor" Kilpatrick, who is now behind bars for obstruction of justice.
Then he threw him under the bus like the dozens of others.
There is video of it (which can't be posted here due to the aggressive spam filter).

I demand an answer. You can't have it both ways. Are you "PARTY first" or is "COUNTRY first"

Tapper:
How about asking Obama if he is going to call for Rangel to step down every day?
How about asking Obama to detail his past and present relationship with Ayers every day?
Ridiculous liberal tripe.

That's not fair, Jake.
Its a tough choice for Palin, her mentor or her career.
Here's betting the latter wins.

"Pelosi takes money from the natural gas companies, that is why she is against oil"
And John McCain and Palin take money from the oil companies which is why they want to drill here & now.

I'll bet if someone tapped into Obama's private emails, or Michelle's, or his kids, everyone in the MSM would be shouting "off with their heads..."

Jake
Why dont you ask Obama if he supports himself, Jefferson, Schmer, Pelosi and so forth all of which are corrupt!!
Pelosi takes money from the natural gas companies, that is why she is against oil

According to the Bush administration's energy department, Texas produces more oil and gas than Alaska. Bush was in the oil and gas exploration business (although he never found any). His expertise is showing today. That's why we need Palin's expertise, right?

Question For Obama:
You describe 9/11 style commissions as a Washington "game" yet you called for 4 of them and one of them centered on Wall Street. Care to clarify?
Get back to us on the speedy response Jake!
Tick Tock

My unanswered question of the day is when will Jake Tapper cover the fact that Sarah Palin and John McCain have been using false outdated statistics about the ranking of Alaska in energy and oil and gas production to tout her expertise on energy policy? She even did it on ABC.

Look, if McCain was really for reform he wouldn't support any of the Republican lackeys who support Bush policies (like Elizabeth Dole). But no, he will continue to support ALL Republican candidates (including Stevens) because they are Republicans. McCain is no reformer. Neither is Palin. They are Republicans (i.e, same as Bush, same policies, same tactics, same, same, same)...

Can you ask Obama why he claimed credit for the stimulus plan and didn't and why he didn't even show up to vote for it?
Tick Tock Tick Tock
