Biden Vouches for Obama in New TV Ad

October 15, 2008 7:19 AM

Airing here in Ohio, among other places, is an Obama TV ad that responds to an attack ad from an outside group.

And what's most interesting is the ad uses Sen. Joe Biden to vouch for Sen. Barack Obama.

The original attack ad -- from the Judicial Confirmation Network -- points out Obama's ties to unsavory characters such as "slumlord" Tony Rezko, Williams Ayers, and Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and suggests Obama would appoint similar breeds of cat to the Supreme Court.

The response ad features Joe Biden saying:

"Seen this ad questioning what kind of people Barack Obama would appoint? Well, I chaired the Senate committee that reviews judicial nominees. I know Barack Obama. These ads are ridiculous. Barack loves his country, he's condemned the acts of those people, they don't work on our campaign and they won't work in our White House. And if you want to know what kind of people Barack will consult with as president? Well, you're looking at him. False ads won't solve our problems, but real change will."

Bizarre ad. Obama being defended by a serial plagarizer? and didn't Biden attack conservative judges?

Those internal polls must be something.

fraudagain,

you must not know about mccain' ties with acorn.
and i would rather have joe biden, who has the experience he has with approving judges, i would rather have him vouche for obama and he can be more
crediable than palin vouching for mccain.
the only way mccain and palin can vouche for each other on anything, is they have to read up on each other the night before. because neither knew very much about the other before this.

john mccain and his handlers are not getting advice from palin about anything now, and he will not be having palin advise him if he became president.
the only thing palin brought to the mccain table is youth.

John McCain and ACORN in 2006 view video

2006-McCain told members of ACORN, UNITE HERE, SEIU, and PAW that they were "what makes America special."

Jack, McCain's transition chief is linked to Saddam Hussein. He has a half dozen other advisers who have been on the payroll of foreigh governments.

Posted by: ricky | Oct 15, 2008 8:26:50 AM

so they put up the same right wing looneys who chose Bush and Cheney vouching for McCain palin

and the commenters on here are trying to spin that Biden is a joke

lol

same team
same tactics
same backers
9th year

throw the bums out.

I can't believe that America still has bigots in this new century.

They're a dying breed. Thank God!

Honest Joe! (the one who plagerizes speeches.)

"As a child he dreamed of being in the football hall of fame" Trouble is there was no football hall of fame when Joe was a child.

When Joe ran for President, Obama wasn't qualified, but he said McCain was.

Winning first -- whatever way the politial winds blow....whatever little folksy story he has to make up.

McCain's supporters, as evidenced by comments here, are still running against JFK. Incredible.

Posted by: ricky | Oct 15, 2008 8:24:19 AM

watched both of the ads

joe said it all in his clip.

I suppose if the dems were in the position the reps. are in right now maybe they would be doing the same thing.
but it is the reps who are were they are,
and for the mccain people who say

"country frirst"

they sure are showing how UNpatriotic
they can be.

the reps only have scare tactics to use now.
i just heard bill bennett on cnn, i thought he was one of the thinkers, the news woman asked him if he thinks palin is ready to be president and he said

"yes" these people will do and say anything to try and win.
if mccain gets up on that stage tonight and mentions bill ayers, first of all i trying to figure out how he will intro him into the debate.
but if he does-he may have satisfied those rabble rousers who attend his rallys, but he will be toast with everyone else.
no one wants a small minded petty person as POTUS and that is what mccain has turned into, I think palin has always been like that.

And we all know how trustworthy Joe's word is... NOT!

Let's hear what Michelle has to say about it; she's unbiased too!

Realclearpolitics Baaybeee. Obama 313 and leading in all the other tossups except Indiana which hasn't had a poll in a week. My guess is he will be leading her too by the end of this week.

What a laugh!
Biden vouching for Obama.

Remember other famous Democrats?

The mafia vouched for Jack Kennedy and made sure he got elected.

Only now it's felons, fraudulent voter registration, the NAACP, the Black Panthers, ACORN, crazy Wright and Hollywood pushing this year's Democrat.
Oh, I forgot to mention the teenyboppers, and druggies who think Obama is "cool."

I think what bothers me the most about Obama as President is the fact that he's supported by people and governments that could hardly be called friends of the United States. Let's face it, Muslim terrorist groups being noted as supporters on his official website, (before they're mysteriously removed), old communist leaders like Castro, South American dictators, and of course Russia.
One has to wonder what's in it for them. I'd think this would be a question the media would ask. Are Obama supporters SO naive that they think that their "messiah" can simply talk them out of their anti-American views. Do these old and new "hippies" really think that electing Obama is some kind of symbolic "peace sign" that'll change our enemies view of us. No, the only LOGICAL reason for those countries, groups and people to want us to elect Obama is that they know he is weak. In addition with Obama we get a man that's gone out of his way through his life to associate himself with anti-America people. His election will not help the cause of peace. It'll only encourage those people to act strongly against us.

Somehow it all seems so genuine coming from Biden. This might just be the last gasp for the Ayers thing. I don't see McCain being able to hit hard with it at tonight's debate. Those sorts of attacks always fall flat in such a personal setting.

The Media Better get "With it"

The media is not being honest about our candidates. Actually they haven’t been honest about Obama since day one.

Why is anyone pushing Obama and Biden?

Obama has no experience.
He’s risky.
He is scary.
His friends, his associates and his background should be questioned daily.

Rev. Wright, Farrakhan, Rezko, William Ayers, Father Plaeger and now ACORN.
We have a racist, an Islamic leader, a criminal, a terrorist and a fraudulent grass root community group.

Obama is running for President of our country, not for American Idol or for a “public speaking” position.

If the media doesn't do it's job. Obama and his group of “obama girl” followers might end up in our living rooms.

Obama is embarrassing.
McCain is experienced and a true patriot.

Please make these issues clear to the public.

Thanks.

CBSNEWS - CBS NEWS POLL - Oct. 14 2008

"Obama opens a 14% lead over McCain.
The top two reasons cited for the change of heart are McCain's attacks on Obama and his choice of Sarah Palin as running mate. Among indepedent voters, Obama now hold a 18% lead vs. 11% two weeks ago"

McCain and Palin - Stupid racists betting that that can drive America back to the Confederacy, and they failed.

Joes doesn't seem to understand that it is his 4 separate lies that Obama and David Axelrod have told the american people. These 2 people clearly are anti-american far left extremist. Jesse Jackson claims that Obama is like a family member and he said that things are going to change when he gets in the Whitehouse. He is going to make up for the injusice in Palistine and cut the Zionest loose in Israel.

I always thought Obama had a different agenda and now Jesse Jackson confirmed that Obama has been lieing to americans all along.

To the comment above, we all are aware that Custer lost right??

What else can you say abour ridiculous accusations by desparate people? I hope the Biden ad airs in more locations. There are real crazies out there that believe the Republican crap. This really scares me, scares me that ones of these may take a shot a Obama, literally. All you Republicans are proud of your party? You are dancing with danger.

REPUBLICAN NOTION OF "REFORMERS"

John McCain - guilty of Violation of Ethics

Saraha Palin - guilty of Violation of Ethics

Todd Pal;in - unelected individual uses power of the Governor's office to settle personal vendetta

Cindy McCain - guilty of stealing drugs from a charity to support her addiction

Seems what needs reforming is the Republican's idea of "leadership" and "integrity"

-----------------------------------
Obama and Biden have been charged with what again? Oh yes, nothing!
