Cindy McCain: Obama Has 'Waged the Dirtiest Campaign in American History'

October 07, 2008 8:56 PM

The Nashville Tennessean reports that at a children's hospital today, Cindy McCain -- the wife of GOP presidential nominee Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz. -- said her husband's opponent, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., has "waged the dirtiest campaign in American history."

That's quite a charge.

Mrs. McCain was visiting the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt University.

“What I have found is that it’s necessary to make sure the American people understand what we have to say, what we stand for as a husband and wife, and what we will do for the American people if we’re lucky enough to be elected,” she said.

This is nice topic, i observed from differenct blogsites that most of Sen. Obama symphatizers are really obvious defending their idol, if Gov. Palin and Sen. McCain camp lambasting him about his association to some radical groups.

Well, it's time to balance all this views and comments in order to be more healthy and fruitfull for the readers and foreigners alike.

Both sides are being hammered by negative campaigning. In fact, it even seems more negative ads have been run by the McCain side.

Yesterday, when Michelle Obama asked if she was offended by the 'That one' comment, she said that people needed to focus on the issues facing the American people. Well said.

Cindy McCain is the luckiest woman on the politcal scene. I think that most Americans do not know about Cindy, other than she is rich and beautiful. They don't understand that her marriage to John started out as an affair with a married man - a married man with children, no less. Then, after becoming addicted to presciption medication, which is fairly common and NOT a crime, she began stealing the drugs from CHILDREN'S medical facilities that were under her charity umbrella. That IS a crime. However, she dodged that bullet - and that's fine with me. She's obviously changed and does good work with her vast millions. However, in years past, that kind of background would completely disallow a husband's candidacy. The lesson - NONE of us is perfect. Not Cindy, not John, nor Barack, not Michelle. Before we throw stones at each other, we should look around to see what's at our OWN feet.

Wow, has Cindy taken up crack now? I actually find it amazing what Obama has not said. And Cindy McCain really ought to learn to shut up -- John McCain's campaign has been filthy and dispicable, while Obama has risen above using a lot of softballs out there. Cindy herself is the dirtiest open secret of all. The woman is a freaking felon -- she used a charity to get her drugs, ordered the doctor who ran it to write false prescriptions in the names of her employees (without their knowledge) to get her the drugs that she was addicted to. And then McCain tried to silence the employee who notified the DEA by insisting that Arizona police investigate him on extortion charges -- which were found to be groundless. I do not want either one of pathological liar, endlessly self-involved McCains representing my country.

Cindy, take it from Whitney Houston, "Crack is WHACK!" Put down the pipe and back away and rest that frozen face.

Take the blue pill, Cindy. No, on second thought, take the red pill. Wait, no, take some botox and turn that frown upside down.

Is she as nuts as that old man wondering around the stage last night? I thought he was looking for the restroom.

Sorry Len, that comment was meant for Laura

When McCain referred to Obama as "that one" it was a racial slur. How can a man like him be President of the United State, when things don't go his way. He will solve it by walking away. That's way we are in this crisis as this day. What a joke!!!!

John McCain does not have the courage to tell American voters how many houses he owns, how many cars he owns, how many Navy planes he crashed-5, how he betrayed his first military wife. As husband and wife, the McCains stand for adultery, betrayal, privilege, entitlement, and coverup.

Yea,
campaign is so dirty. That is why Obama is up in all the poll.

Obama No Drama.

As a democrat I am sickened by the racism and hatefullnes for America that Michelle Obama has displayed in her senior thesis at Princeton, in the church she took her children and husband to with racist, marxist theology spewed forth by Rev Jerry Wright, in her statements about not being proud of America when she and her husband were given their schooling on a silver platter, when she married a man who was mentored by Frank Davis, a communist, who also was a hater and racist, when she married a man who was close friends with a bigotted and racist Democrat priest, when she married a man who was close friends with an unrepentent terrorist and his wife who got a jobs as professors because his dad had a lot of money to influence people, who married a man who did a "boneheaded deal" with a convicted felon who was one of his biggest fund raisers to get her "boneheaded deal" husband started on the path of allowing the Chicago political machine, which has run out of money in Chicago, Cook County, and the State of Illinois and now wants to get at the federal treasury so they can put some flowers on Michigan Avenue, who married a man who took almost $1 million a day as earmarks for his friends until he started running for the presidency of the United States with the big prize, the federal treasury, who wrote a fundraising email that said her husband would bring back partial birth abortion, who husband was the second highest recipient of money from Fannie/Freddie over $120,000. This is what sickens me and makes me so upset that I am actually thinking of not voting for Mr Obama. Then I look at all his accomplishments and it gives me pause. I am in such a dilemma. He seems so unpolitical and elegant when he reads his speech. He seems to float up on the platform and he has learned his talking points and can speak without hesitation after two years of repeating what Richard Daley told him to say, sorry I mean David Axlerod. What is a good democrat to do?

It's just awful to see and hear how divided this country really is. Have any of you ever gave any thought to the fact that just maybe it will be Mc/Palin who enter the White House? What about all those awful things you have said about this ticket? Will you look at yourself the same way, say the same things about your New President? Just a thought to add to your day.

I don't think Obama has run a dirty campaign against McCain, but I definitely think he ran a dirty campaign against Hillary.

I'm voting for Obama, but I still think the real Democratic nominee is Hillary. She would definitely know how to fix this economic mess!!!

I believe that is the "pot calling the kettle black!" oh yes, pun intended.

All I know is I hope you all do your research into Barack Obama's background...his background is "scary" too...but I understand as democrats you only look into was is best for YOU...not the nation and world as a whole...that is why you all don't care if a woman kills her unborn child...i feel sorry for your children!

Cindy McCain has a lot of nerve talking about Barack; her husband has waged the dirtiest campaign in history. John McCain is running out of time and is doing anything he can to try and hurt Barack. Oh,Cindy by the way is John going to treat you like he treated his first wife Carol McCain after he met you. Speaking of Dirty.

Posted by: Demarc36 | Oct 8, 2008 2:52:15 PM

The McCain's are a blight to everything they are suppose to represent. Money did not help curb there unfair comments and lies. PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS FAMILY (if we can call them that)GET INTO THE WHITE HOUSE.

No direct disrespect to Mrs. McCain, but is she having the same issues as her husband? Confusion?

John McCain, made a promise earlier this year to stay away from personal character attacks. He broke his promise, period.

Mrs. McCain needs to take off her rose colored glasses.
