So Obama thinks Supreme court should be more involved in wealth distribution?

Funny ABCNEWS is silent again on that.

Jake, I do hope your analysis of election possibilities is more coherent than the bizarre musings offered yesterday on "This Week" by your apparently befuddled colleague Cokie Roberts, who kept insisting to her fellow panelists that Americans secretly harbor a pathological fear of Democrats controlling both the White House and Congress, and that this would somehow rebound to the GOP's favor.

metaphysical DEPT:

the Earth seen from space is a BLUE planet
indicating life...... Blue = Democrats

Mars, a RED planet, lifeless so far and barren....
Red = Republicans

"All I am saying is there is still an ongoing case now going before the supreme court."

What case? Who told you that? Berg?

The same guy who said Obama's record has been subpoenaed?

The same guy who said Obama's failure to respond to a non existent subpoena meant he admitted he as not a citizen?

A veteran, you seem like a smart guy. Stop reading media that lies to you.

re: "My question is why doesn't he just show it ..."

obviously enough 'official' type people have seen it that the subject only seems to remain an issue for a 'select' few..

"you want to blame republicans yet berg is a democrat."

Berg is a paranoid nutcase.

His political affiliation is immaterial.

His Obama conspiracy is much like his Bush 9/11 conspiracy, deluded.

no doubt that Berg will keep trying.
you want to blame republicans yet berg is a democrat. All I am saying is there is still an ongoing case now going before the supreme court. I actually believe that he probably is. My question is why doesn't he just show it to ever it is that needs to see it and end this instead of paying for lawyers to keep it going. Doesn't seem like it is very smart.

re: birth certificate

Obama doesn't 'have to' prove anything...

the 'burden' is on the right-wing fringe to prove he's not a citizen... so far they haven't.. they will continue but they will not succeed, no doubt that Berg will keep trying.

Oh my gosh, we are back to Obama not being a citizen. Let me explain it to you in really simple words. He was born in the US so he is a citizen. In Indonesia, he was considered a citizen. Indonesia does not recognize dual citizenship, but the US does. You do not have to apply to become a naturalized citizen again. The GOP has sued over this and lost.

This is the real Obama --
In interviews, Mr. Obama was modest and careful. (In a rare slip, he told The Associated Press: “I’m not interested in the suburbs. The suburbs bore me.”)

"McCain's closing argument is substantially less than persuasive, especially since the Repubs have been in control of the Legislative and Executive branches of government for six of the past eight years and he has been perfectly happy with that arrangement."

The blatant hypocrisy is astounding and therefore makes the attack ineffective.

Bailey -

Saw the Biden interview. The question wasn't "tough"...it was insane. He wasn't smirking...he was flabbergasted that an idiotic talking head was actually asking him if an American presidential candidate was a "Marxist." Thought his "are you joking?" was completely appropriate.

We've had a "progressive" income tax system since 1910. Only in the McCain/Palin world of "inside's out, upside's down, over's under" would anyone call it "Marxist."

"I hope Florida is taking notice of how the Obama thugs are attacking this woman."

ROFLMAO.

The McCain campaign called Katie Couric asking Palin what newspapers she read gotcha journalism.

Guess that declaring war on the media was a smart move....*guffaw*

"There is still a lawsuit now going to the supreme court to force him to show these documents which he appears as being reluctant to do"

Why are right wingers so gullible about this citzenship thing?

Oh wait, same people fell for Vince Foster.

"There is already enough bad plastic surgery in prime time."

len, that's a terrible thing to say about Cindy McCain

Posted by: Ryan C (the actual real one) | Oct 27, 2008 1:39:09 PM

Same
First we still are not sure he was born a natural american citizen as required by the constitution.
Second if he was, when he went to Indonesia as a child and went to school his parents would have had to renounce his american citizenship and become an Indonesia citizen only in order to go to school.
If in fact they did that then upon returning to the US as a young adult he would have had to then apply for citizenship, and take an oath of allegiance to the United States all of which would have documents. There is still a lawsuit now going to the supreme court to force him to show these documents which he appears as being reluctant to do. It is such a simple thing, show the documents to the Federal Election Board and be done with it. My question is why won't he.

Final argument: If you elect Obama, you have to watch Nancy Pelosi's impression of Jack Nicholson as The Joker every night for the next four years.

There is already enough bad plastic surgery in prime time.

It's hard for a simple-minded person like me to focus on the issues when there are all these rumors on the internet, and the journalists aren't doing the job of clarifying them.

Is it so hard for JT to just ask Bill Burton to answer Yes or No? That's what a press secretary is for. Has Obama ever been a citizen of another country?

I know that does not affect his American citizenship, but don't we have to know such basic stuff about our president? Come on, you must have taken a course in college that said it is your responsibility to inform the public of such things. Is it really crazy to ask such a question?

As soon as Bill Burton answers a simple Yes or No, I promise to stop taking up precious comments space.

The smirking condescending Joe Biden was angered because a FL reporter had the nerve to ask hard questions.

If the media had done their jobs Obama/Biden wouldn't be so ill-prepared to handle a tough interview.

I hope Florida is taking notice of how the Obama thugs are attacking this woman.

One thing is certain if elected--Biden will be a constant embarrassment as VP and the real Obama will be in a fish bowl finally for all to see.
