McCain-Backing Congresswoman Suggests Obamas Have Anti-American Views
October 18, 2008 12:51 PM
On MSNBC's Hardball, Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-Minn., said the "collection of friends that Barack Obama has had over this life" -- specifically Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers -- "calls into question what Barack Obama's true beliefs and values and thoughts are."
Bachmann also pointed out that Obama had been rated one year by the National Journal as the most liberal Senator, prompting Chris Matthews to ask what the connection is between being liberal and being anti-American.
"The liberals that are Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers they're over the top anti-American," Bachmann said, "Remember it was Michelle Obama who said she's only recently proud of her country, these are very anti-American views."
"I'm very concerned that he may have anti-American views," Bachmann said.
"The people that Barack Obama has been associating with are anti-American, by and large," Bachmann said.

Remember, Bachman blamed Blacks and minorities for the financial crisis during Congressional hearing in September. That's the same tactic used by hate groups who've been blaming Jewish people for the crisis. Why does she continue to be given a platform to spew this hate?

The Congresswoman has lost

Shades of McCarthy.
Is Bachman really sinking that low?
Is our country really sinking that low?

Only problem is, ACORN registers democrats, republicans, independents, libertarians and green party.
Yet endorses Democrats, and takes money from Democrat candidates, and is subsidized with all tax payer dollars. That's unethical.

McCain gave the KEYNOTE address to ACORN in 06 and said, "keep up the great work."
I believe the event was a non partisan event. Both Democrats, and Republicans were present, and it wasn't about voting, it was about immigration.
Yes, there is a connection, but it doesn't involve one of McCain's paid campaign workers, illegally voting in a state, after being in a residence for only 2 days.

I'm glad the mainstream press is starting to pick this up, but you fail to mention the most disturbing statments she made - the call for investigations into congress members to find out who is anti-american. Please tell the whole story on your blog.

Scandinavia is socialist -- nursery school is subsidized, schools are free, grad school is free, medical school is free, dental school is free-- and students get stipends to attend. No one is homeless, unless they are drug addicts and can't figure things out. Crime is low, hand guns illegal, people get to vote for those folks in office. Should America be socialized? Think about it. Maybe it's time to stop bailing out greedy Republicans and the current form of capitalism which clearly clearly doesn't work for anyone but the very rich.

Only problem is, ACORN registers democrats, republicans, independents, libertarians and green party. If a lazy clown decides to cheat their boss, and don't really do their job, do we blame the boss? McCain gave the KEYNOTE address to ACORN in 06 and said, "keep up the great work." Funny, every election year, the re-punks, find something wrong with voter registration, but never can find any clues about voter suppression. Hmmm!!

Heck, Obama supporters in Congress have called McCain and Palin racist. Obama supporters have come onto these message boards and called McCain supporters racist rednecks and neocons who lack intelligence.
Is Obama anti-American? No, I wouldn't say that. But I would say that his supporters are against Americans who don't see the glory in the Chosen One.

McCain/Palin also have questionable friends. The pot is calling the kettle black!!! McCain's campaign has sunk to an all time low. They are a bunch of racist hatemongers.

Lee -
There's no reason to dig around in her closet. All we have to do is donate to her opponent who's raised over $80,000 since this McCarthy-like demagogue started flapping her gums last night on Hardball.
Send her back to Minnesota. She can conduct her anti-American witch hunts from her basement.

People wonder why McCain and the Republican party are trying to divide us. Because they are succesionists. They realize they won't be able to RULE all of us so they'll take some of us. And the dumber the better.

More if not all of the Republicans seem to be taking Palin's lead of becoming full blown caricatures.

Republicans are the ones being anti-American here. I don't want these bozos representing me, here or abroad!

God bless, Michelle Bachman.
Oh no, can I say that on this blog?
Posted by: Captain America | Oct 18, 2008 5:08:35 PM
Usually the republican nut-jobs save their crap for talk radio, blogs, robocalls, flyers, and Fox News. Whenever they come out in public you know that they are really crazy because they must believe that other people don't think they're crazy. I'm heading off now to send some bucks to her opponent -- don't know him, but anybody would be better than this woman.

Michelle Bachman did an wonderful job interviewing with Matthews. She bested him on every turn.
Is ObamACORN unAmerican? "I am very concerned that he may have anti American ways."
She is right. But not to the leftists. The Leftists, you see, have their own perception of what is American.
That is why Michelle Bachman's statement is so unacceptable to Leftists. They think ObamACORN, ravin' Wright, Farakhan, Pleger, Ayers, and all the other loons are acceptable.
Why is this a surprise to anyone, other than those of us who really are American.
Leftists are anti American losers.

Like many others we watch the news coverage on
McCain's negative campaigning on Obama's
association with Acorn and Bill Ayers. This
abundance of coverage really doesn't help Obama.
What I am really surprised about is there is NO
press coverage on McCain's ties to Gordon Liddy,
Rev. Hagee and Rev. Parsley. David Letterman was
the first to bring it up in his interview with Sen
McCain the other night. Yet it deaded there. Liddy donated $5,000 to McCain's campaign, held a fund raiser for him in his home and was described as an "old friend" by Liddy and praised Liddy's "adhearence to the principals and philosophes that keep our nation great" and was "proud of" Liddy
There is not any news coverage any more of McCain's ties to Keating.
I feel that the press even though pointing out McCain's negative campaigning does not let the public know about McCain's "domestic conections"
Now McCain is sending out thousands of Robo calls calling Obama a terrorists, yet the press doesn't point out McCain's quotes on Liddy and what he did. Sometimes just talking about Obama's involvement with Ayers all the time but not mentioning he was on an education board and who was on that board as he did in the debate doesn't give the public enough information to side for themselves.
I think Obama supporters would like to see some fair coverage any coverage on it.
See the following link.
The Press spends everyday speaking about Obama’s connection to Bill Ayers. Doesn’t the public have the right to know about the connection of McCain to Gordon Liddy (which has never been mentioned) and his connection to Keating receives no coverage anymore.
Congress held an investigation into Keating and McCain had a lot to do with it.
Obama only served on an board for education with Bill Ayers who now is a professor of education and on that board were also promenient heads of universities and news papers. Are they terrorists too?
Liddy served 4.5 years in prison for his conviction for the Watergate break-in
And the break-in of the office of Daniel Ellsberg’s psychiatrists office.
Liddy acknowledged that he was prepared to kill someone during the Ellsburg break-in if necessary.
Lidding plotting to murder journalist Howard Hunt to stop him from cooperating with investigators.
Liddy plotting to fire bomb the Brookings Institute
Liddy plotting to kidnap anti-war protestors at the Republic National Convention in 1972
During the 90’s Liddy reportably instructed his radio audience on multiple occasions how to disarm and shoot a Bureau of ATF agent

Michelle Backman is anything but American given her words. I'm glad she's running for office. As soon as I finish this comment, I'm donating to her opponent.
Maybe we can send her on her narrow, bitter, stupid way, and that is anywhere but in Congress. We don't need her ilk in the U.S. Congress.
