McCain Gives Interview to Gay DC Newspaper

October 01, 2008 7:18 PM

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., answered questions submitted to him by the gay Washington, D.C., newspaper The Blade.

He told the paper about standing by former Rep. Jim Kolbe, R-Ariz., and former Tempe Mayor Neil Giuliano after they were outed, about his eulogy for 9/11 hero Mark Bingham, and how he believes "a child is best raised by a mother and father because of the unique contributions that they make together to the development of a child."

Does this make any waves in the evangelical community? Sort of a return to the old McCain maverick style...

Well he'll get the libertarians but that's about it. Between the "dead-enders" who still want this war, and the liberals going home to Obama, just HOW can McCain expect to win? You can only suspend belief to a point before you look certifiably INSANE! McCain can't win, no matter how many butts he tries to kiss. The tide has turned against him and what he represents. And nothing is gonna change that...

Good for McCain but the insane right wingers are going to go after him.

Did you see what they said to Kathleen Parker?
