McCain Planning to Spend Time With ‘Joe the Plumber’

“I'm probably going to call him this morning," Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., told Fox News Channel's Carl Cameron. "I thought he would probably be up late. I heard that his -- that his phone lines were pretty well were flooded. But I think we're going to be spending some time together.”
Interestingly, "Joe the Plumber" is not named Joe (his full name is Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher), and according to the Toledo Blade, he's not a licensed plumber.
The Blade also reports: "Linda Howe, executive director of the Lucas County Board of Elections, said a Samuel Joseph Worzelbacher, whose address and age match Joe the Plumber’s, registered in Lucas County on Sept. 10, 1992. He voted in his first primary on March 4 of this year, registering as a Republican. Ms. Howe said that the name may be misspelled in the database."
Additionally, in December 2007, the Blade reports, "the Ohio Department of Taxation placed a lien against him because $1,183 in personal property taxes had not been paid, but there has been no action in the case since it was filed."

Awesome. Keep attacking Joe the Plumber, MSM. The same elitist arrogance towards pistol-packin' mama Palin gave McCain one of his few sustained bounces this campaign.
There are a LOT of Joe the Plumbers out there. Keep mocking them.

I don't get it.
Obama lied about being involved with the ACORN frauds.
His website had to be changed once the truth got out.
Obam lied about paying ACORN and lied about what he paid them for.
(He said "stage and lighting")
But that's alright.
Democrats need to destroy Joe.
Joe must frighten you do death. More than Obama lying.

BEFORE the debate.
Joe said something to question THE ONE.
Now Joe pays with his life.
Of course he was going to come up in the debate. Obama mentioned Joe several times.

Joe the Plumber misrepresented himself, plain and simple. It obvious that he was hired to try and trip up Obama, and Obama didn't take the bait. Instead he gave him a long detailed and informational explanation of his tax plan, not that Joe was even listening.

Did you know Obama's treasurer has outstanding tax liens?
Did you know his campaign Finance chairman was instrumental in the financial crisis?
Do you know Obama hasn't released his medical records or his school transcripts?

We know more about Joe than we do Obama. But heck, Obama just wants to be President. It's not as important as Joe.

Obama sought out Joe.
And now the press is trying to destroy Joe. That's fabulous.
We know more about Joe than we do about Obama.
We find out about Joe's tax liens here, but not that Obama's treasurer has tax liens, or that Obama's Finance Chariman is the Queen of the SubPrime mortgages, which brought to the precipice of calamity.
We know all about Joe, but we still don't know how Obama got into Columbia or Harvard, or his grades, or even his medical record.
But by golly, Obama's press is going to destroy a guy who makes $30k a year.

McCain did as much background checking on Joe as he did on his vice presidential running mate Palin. McCain is an idiot who continuously tries to mislead voters. Vote from the most honest candidate whoever you think that is. Control your government or it will control you.

McCain's "Joe the plumber" is fitting. Liddy, the Watergate burglar/murder plotter, was also a plumber?
"Joe the plumber" makes $40K and would get a $500 tax break under Obama's plan. Did McCain vet this story the same way he didn't vet Palin?

According to this business listing, "Joe the Plumbers" company has only $100,000 in annual SALES (not profits) so looks like Joe may have a ways to go...

McCain War Profiteering
The Democratic chairman of a House investigative committee presented documents to the Pentagon on Thursday alleging that a top Republican fund-raiser, Harry Sargeant III, has made tens of millions of dollars in profits over the last four years because his contracting company vastly overcharged for deliveries of fuel to American air bases in Iraq.
Mr. Sargeant, who is the finance chairman of the Florida Republican Party and a major fund-raiser for Senator John McCain, did not immediately return several messages left for him on Thursday, but in the past he has denied any improprieties on the part of the the company, International Oil Trading Company, known as I.O.T.C. [...]
Mr. Sargeant is one of several dozen people who are listed on Senator McCain’s web site as raising $500,000 or more for him. He was the host of a fundraiser for Mr. McCain at his mansion in Delray Beach, Fla., this year.
Sargeant, you may remember, is the McCain bundler who managed to get donations for McCain from some very unlikely sources:
The bundle of $2,300 and $4,600 checks that poured into Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign on March 12 came from an unlikely group of California donors: a mechanic from D&D Auto Repair in Whittier, the manager of Rite Aid Pharmacy No. 5727, the 30-something owners of the Twilight Hookah Lounge in Fullerton....
Some of the most prolific givers in Sargeant's network live in modest homes in Southern California's Inland Empire. Most had never given a political contribution before being contacted by Sargeant or his associates. Most said they have never voiced much interest in politics. And in several instances, they had never registered to vote. And yet, records show, some families have ponied up as much as $18,400 for various candidates between December and March.....

Well, this appears to be just another example of McCain jumping in without thinking. First it was the Sarah Palin pick, then it was "suspending" his campaign, now it's glorifying this guy Joe, who's not really a plumber, earns about $40,000 a year, and as it happens will be BETTER off under Obama's tax plan.
McCain is running an abysmal campaign. I wouldn't trust him to run a bath, let alone a country.

Joe the Plumber is a victim of McCain's desperation in the road to the White House. At least, he can be paid by a talk show or McCain's campaign that is using his likeness in ads. This will make him afford to pay for his apprenticeship, plumber license, liens etc. He just struggles like any other American under Bush. McCain should face reality that NOT all Republicans make over $250,000 as Joe the Plumber demonstrates. Will fees for plumbing licenses or contractor licenses be lowered under McCain, or he wants them to create wealth without caring how much they got there. VOTE WISELY.
