There is so much legitimate information about Barack Obama that the media should have investigated and exposed by now that "we the people" should just turn off anything that is not totally documented. Barack Obama has raised and spent more money than any politican in history - he has more anti-American, radical associates than any politican in history. Whether the call happened or not... the quotes they a realizing don't seem overly offensive.... I am a southern white woman and the notion of a Black Woman talking about how this historic race will effect the feelings of black people in this country seems perfectly legitimate... I can't wrap my head around it... why do so many white people feel threatened and defensive when people talk about race in this country???

Another one of my comments was suppressed. None of my comments have been beligerent or using smears or slurs of any kind. The strongest thing in my most recent comment was questioning the enthusiasm of the 3 major networks for investigating things that may turn out bad for Obama.

The reason why America’s enemies prefer Barack Obama as president is obvious. Obama is as naive as John F. Kennedy and Jimmy Carter. And we know how the world came apart during those two administrations.

The Russians are courting Hugo Chavez; conducting naval exercises together and planning to provide Venezuela with nuclear technology. They are also planning to provide Cuba with missiles for “commercial use.” There is speculation that Putin wants to expand and perhaps regress to the old USSR ways.

Considering the aforementioned, the radical Islamic groups that have been in check, and the rest of our enemies we must ask ourselves, is Barack Obama the right man for the job? If the Russians proceed with their plans to provide Hugo Chavez nuclear technology and arm Cuba with missiles again, will Barack Obama allow it? What will he do if Russia invades neighbor countries?

There is no secret that the rise in oil cost precipitated the economic meltdown. An economic crisis before the elections benefited Obama and was a huge setback for McCain. The two OPEC countries responsible for the rise in oil cost were Iran and Venezuela. Shouldn’t this be raising flags?

There is much at stake; we need experience and decisiveness, not eloquence and socialism.

Why isn't this the central issue of the campaign? I believe every state and every organization we are presently in conflict with have verbally or in writing endorsed Obama. Perhaps I am wrong, but some simple investigative reporting by the Media could quickly determine the real truth of this. The unbelievable aspect of this entire matter is "we the people" are in a position to have the SLIGHTEST doubt regarding the legitimate citizenship of a candidate for POTUS. What is all the confusion - I think the DNC is obligated to verify - leaving not the slightest doubt - the deal on this birth certificate.

If it is true that Obama will not release his birth certificate, then it is unbelievable to me. I have had to produce mine all my life, and here is a man who is asking us to put him in the Oval Office, and he won't. Come on now. The fact that the drive-by and mainstream media is not making this an issue shows which side they are on.

The simple matter is we know nothing about this man. Every record is sealed from Columbia and Harvard. No one believes the certificate photos (??) on an Annenberg run site, factcheck, upon which Bill Ayers sits. The simpliest thing would be to show the certificate, wouldn't it, instead of filing counter suits against Philip Berg, who is demanding for the American people and the sanctity of the U.S. Constitution that Obama prove his citizenship. 1. API will chicken out and not release the tape.

3. The Hussain camp will listen to the quality of the audio and see if it is scratchy enough to say it isn't her. If the audio isn't really clear, it couldn't be verified that it was her and they would have plausible deniability.

I think the difference is pretty simple to understand. Issues like universal health care take tax money from those who work, and some portion of it goes to those who don't work. Many have a problem with that. On the other hand, few people would try to claim that our soldiers aren't working for the income they get.

Take a taxpayer's money, and give it to someone who isn't disabled, and hasn't done anything to deserve it, and that's income redistribution. Pay it out to men who are putting their lives on the line in service of the country, and it's payment for services rendered.

Nobody seems to address the fact that BHO wants to let the Bush tax cuts expire. Isn't this a de facto tax increase?

Can I ask a question of conservatives? This is serious. I get it that you think Obama is a socialist. And I get it that you think that because he proposes raising taxes on anybody at all, but especially because he proposes raising taxes on the wealthiest Americans. Here's my question: at what point on the tax policy spectrum do you start to become a socialist? No Republican has proposed eliminating taxes altogether. So even the least possible amount of taxes is still redistributing wealth, is it not? I know that you must realize that the war on terror is funded by taxes. We pay our soldiers with money from taxes. Republicans are for taking some money from all of us and redistributing it to our men and women in the military. But surely you don't think that's socialist. So my question is: at what point do you become a socialist? Where is the line? If conservatives propose taxing the wealthy at all, why isn't that socialist? At what percentage is it acceptable to be taxed? Seriously, I would love to know the answers.

Who really care? The Republicans are feeling the same way the Democrats did 8 yrs ago. Everyone, take my advice...vote. No one governs alone and our constitution is strong enough to handle any assault. We the people embody the spirit of our great country. Let's respectfully disagree on the issues. We'll hit a tipping point where high income people will buckle down (as was the case under Carter) and lower their income, bringing in less $ to the Treasury. Every time income taxes have been lowered, the Treasury took in MORE money. That's a fact. Even JFK knew that.

While it's rich seeing a left wing blogger accuse right wingers of spreading false information, when you left wingers spread false positive propaganda about freedom crusher Obama daily, the fact is lots of right wing bloggers identified that story as bogus, including little green footballs. I remember Charles Johnson making a point that it was bogus, and so not publishing it. Not that there is anything positive to say about obama. I mean, I value life, liberty, the fruits of my labors and the pursuit of happiness, therefore I despise Obama.

UNBELIEVABLE. I actually thought that for the most part Americans made informed and educated decisions about what they read or hear. Could it be true? Are we actually going to base out voting decision on fear of difference? Fear of minorities progressing? Fear that the wealthy will actually have to pay for their privileged lives? OMG! You actually have to work for what you get! What a concept, you actually may have to get your next promotion based on merit and not status. How dare Obama actually try to adhere to morally sound policies and the freekin' Constitution and Bill of Rights! What's ashamed is that I think the American people are going to fall for propaganda and time tested and proven predjudicial garbage and flat out racism. Shame on America.
