Oh, That Joe! (No. 27 in a Series) --

O-bam-a and Biden would be horrible for both Ohio and West Virginia. They owe so much to the wacko lobby that they would shut down the coal industry and power plants, throwing tens of thousands of Americans out of work to save the Arctic teat mouse.

They say they're for "clean coal technology". What they mean is they want to develop it at taxpayer expense, then give it away for free to the Chinese and have even more production shipped over to cheap Chinese labor.

I was undecided on my candidate until the VP candidates were announced. When Biden joined the Obama ticket, I was impressed! A good, solid choice.

Then McCain announced Palin as his running mate.

Huh? The lady who advocates killing wolves from helicoptors? Denning? The artless practitioner of blatant nepotism? THAT Sarah Palin? As VP candidate for a 72 year old man with a history of cancer?

Uh...yeah, I know who I'm voting for.

I never get all the Biden gaffes, Jake, but sure as hell, Gov. Palin hasn't come close to his, but if she slipped JUST ONCE.....it would be splashed everywhere. PALIN ROCKS....SHE IS A BIGGER POLITICAL STAR THAN BOZO.
It will be great having a woman as our 44th VP!

My favorite Biden gaffes: crying three times (once with hankie), asking Chuck to stand up (Chuck in wheelchair), saying he'd never have run those nasty ads about McCain's disability as Obama did, and my favorites are when he speaks lovingly of McCain to the point that I really do believe he'd rather be running with John and doesn't think Obama is qualified AS HE SAID A FEW SHORT MONTHS AGO.

The biggest mistake john mccain has made in this election cycle is picking sarah palin for his vp.
he knows it-but he has made his bed and now he has to wallow in it too.

have all been broad-sided by this backfire of a political stunt.
when mccain first picked her everyone went "BRILLIANT"-and now all the bigwig reps. just want to go for a long nap until this is over.

women usually want to take the high road. the way the mccain camp and these rallys are going by the time this is over, sarah palin' influence will be so small, if they were to get into the wh.
she would have a hard time getting anything good done for her supporters.

we cannot go backward, you know there is a lot of damage control work that needs to be done here at home and abroad, it will not happen with mccain and palin, people already think mccain and palin are a joke,( and they were the ones who caused it to be so)

get off the fence-take a chance it will not hurt.

William Timmons, the Washington lobbyist who John McCain has named to head his presidential transition team, aided an influence effort on behalf of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to ease international sanctions against his regime.

The two lobbyists who Timmons worked closely with over a five year period on the lobbying campaign later either pleaded guilty to or were convicted of federal criminal charges that they had acted as unregistered agents of Saddam Hussein's government.

During the same period beginning in 1992, Timmons worked closely with the two lobbyists, Samir Vincent and Tongsun Park, on a previously unreported prospective deal with the Iraqis in which they hoped to be awarded a contract to purchase and resell Iraqi oil.

Timmons, Vincent, and Park stood to share at least $45 million if the business deal went through.

- Timmons' activities occurred in the years following the first Gulf War, when Washington considered Iraq to be a rogue enemy state and a sponsor of terrorism. His dealings on behalf of the deceased Iraqi leader stand in stark contrast to the views his current employer held at the time.

Lee, you have not been paying a shred of attention. oregon will be blue this year -Merkeley will win and so will Obama. Mark & Tom Udall will win as will Mark Begich, Jeanne Shaheen, Mark Warner and Kay Hagen. My biggest hope is for Andrew Rice. He MUST win.

I strongly believe the voter registration fraud is just the tip of the iceberg for the underhanded dealings that have been going on during this entire election, starting with the primaries.

The Democratic Party is trying to make voters believe this election is a lost cause so Republican voters will stay home on Election Day.

The most comments seem to be biased ones to the either Party, wich they have fallen in love with. I am a new voter, and don't really know which party is better, or what the biggest difference between the two parties is. I hope someone tells me the "non-colored" analysis.

it is a good trait for a politician to be able to kid anc cut up with the massed, and then be able to get right down to business when he needs to.
