Palin Questions McCain Decision to Not Hit Obama on Wright

New York Times columnist William Kristol asked Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, if the campaign is hitting Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., for his connections to William Ayers, why wouldn't they go after his much closer connection to Rev. Jeremiah Wright?

"To tell you the truth, Bill, I don’t know why that association isn’t discussed more," Palin said,

"because those were appalling things that that pastor had said about our great country, and to have sat in the pews for 20 years and listened to that —with, I don’t know, a sense of condoning it, I guess, because he didn’t get up and leave — to me, that does say something about character. But, you know, I guess that would be a John McCain call on whether he wants to bring that up."

This comes after Palin publicly questioned another McCain campaign decision, to stop trying to full compete in Michigan.

"I want to get back to Michigan, and I want to try," Palin told Fox News' Carl Cameron. "Todd and I, we’d be happy to get back to Michigan. We’d be so happy to speak to the people there in Michigan who are hurting."

"Obama is the man of vision and will revitalize the American dream."

Oh please, the destruction of us all.

It's funny how he gets you all worked up about the economy and he lies about McCain that he voted for our own jobs in the U.S. to go oveseas, and it's not even close of being true. The REAL reason why most of our jobs here are being shipped overseas is because there are lower taxes over there and there are higher taxes over here.

And he has just brainwashed this country in his "fantasy world"

And people talk about McCain being old,
well look at the vice presidential nominee Joe Biden.

And Obama being inexperienced, well so is sarah palin as well.

SO LIKELY PEOPLE, IT'S VICE VERSA ON BOTH SIDES OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION!!!!!

All you people are missing the point, I believe that its a choice of the lesser evil, not who is honest or experienced. The truth is that our world is in a delicate place now, where Americans are no longer free and take the smallest things for granted. I am not that smart of an individual and i can see that McCain is the only choice not necessarily a good one but we need his security abilities to protect our lazy complacent ways. We need to ask ourselves who would our enemies like to see in office and pick the other. They will fear McCain and hopefully give us four more years to find someone worthy of the American people. Our enemies will not fear or respect Obama and they will view this as a weekness. Our economy will mean nothing if the terrorist get there way. Life as we know will end. For our children not ourselves please put McCain in office and let the search go on for the right person for four more years. Your point of views are all trivial compared to the survival of our country and children.

THIS WAS NOT APPROVED BY ANYONE!!!!!!!!

McCain is and old, hot-headed foul-mouthed trigger-happy elite rich guy who thinks it's funny to lie to those dumb Republicans.

...McCAIN'S TIES TO TERRORISTS...McCain has past connections to a private group that supplied aid to guerrillas seeking to overthrow the leftist government of Nicaragua in the Iran-Contra affair...l

The more one gets to know about Obama, the more confusing it gets ...

Obama has changed the definition of Senator and Congressman

- He has voted 'Present' 133 times

Come on ... that is in-action ... he was sent to the senate to 'work'

- He has been in senate for only '145 days' since he was elected 3 years ago

- A couple of weeks ago when the bailout was being worked out ... call me if you need me ... what the heck is that ?

Where is the work ethic, leadership ???

I thought Mccain had a country first attitude! It looks like its COUNTRY FIRST, ONLY, if he is leading in his presidential campaign! If, he is losing, @#!% the country; the economy, peoples plight, and wall street, SHOULD BE HIS FOCUS, not SPEECHES THAT FOSTER RACIST UNDERTONES, race hatred, fear mongering and instigations that may cause violent behavior! IF THIS IS WHAT JOHN MCCAIN CALLS COUNTRY FIRST, THEN THE COUNTRY WILL LOSE UNDER HIS ADMINISTRATION! The Washington Post article reported that Palin supporters yelled racist comments at minority attendees at a rally yesterday! Palin blamed Katie Couric’s questions for her less than successful interview with mainstream media.

Both McCain and Palin need to show some leadership and get control over their supporters who went overboard with the racial slurs and death threat which was apparently directed towards Obama. The Rebublican Party is resorting to mob rule. An apology from the McCain campaign would be helpful.

Once again the team of mavericks are at it. this time it got VERY SERIOUS. Palins little hate rally in Florida got the hatered of a United States Senator brought front and center Calling for presidential nominee Barck Obama's DEATH This is indeed the LOWEST of the lows we have all seen from the GOP's nominees during this campaign. I wonder IF the Secret Service took Gov. Palin aside afterwards for a lecture on security for ALL the candidates?

Posted by: faxbot | Oct 7, 2008 3:38:04 PM

Palin has turned to McCarthyist tactics. I'm disgusted by the mob mentality of her supporters. Both sides need to back off, but at this point I'm blaming McCain's campaign - they went overboard this weekend.

And they claim to be Uniters?

Posted by: billthomson | Oct 7, 2008 3:37:56 PM

Ok I get the Hockey Mom thing but I'm not sure about "Joe Sixpack" Does this refer to guys with tight abs or guys who drink six-packs of beer??? We have neither in my neighborhood. Joe Kegger or Willie the Fifth, maybe.Although she is cute ,adorable, and folksy I still think she is a Slap in the Face to all the women in this country that have worked so hard to rise above the "glass ceiling. And she wants the VP to have more power than before.....someone please give a SHOUT OUT! VOTE AGAINST PALIN !

Posted by: HeartofCountry | Oct 7, 2008 3:31:38 PM

And Lorie...btw...I would NOT have aborted that child! Yes, I AM pro-choice, but I personally would not have an abortion. But I don't think anyone should be able to tell me it's not my legal right to do so. This is what so many people ignore about pro-choice believers.

So, don't pass judgement on ME! You don't know me. Cuz that would then make you a hypocrite.

Heard guys, Palin Rev Muthee has just accused cindi McCain of being a witch.More troubles in the Republican camp. Hahahahahahah

Posted by: hipupamerica | Oct 7, 2008 2:32:52 PM

I'm not saying I know her or know what was going through her head. I'm just saying it's a bit suspicious. I just can't imagine a mother being that careless, even after 4 other pregnancies. And after 4 pregnancies, a smart woman would know she's pregnant.

Posted by: Jodi | Oct 7, 2008 2:09:41 PM

dont know why election commision or courts are not dragged in putting sarah behind the bars for inciting hatred and killing a presidential candidate.

Posted by: joyboy | Oct 7, 2008 1:56:28 PM

so Jodi, you know Sarah then huh? to pass judgment on what she did or didn't do when she was pregnant? Maybe for some period of time she didn't know she was pregnant, maybe she was concerned that the people of Alaska would frown on it, maybe its none of your business, it doesn't affect the way she was running the state and it is overly apparent when you see that family, that they love that little boy. I suppose if it were you you would have aborted him when you found out he had downs. Don't give her or her husband any credit for accepting the situation and having the little boy anyway.

Posted by: lorie | Oct 7, 2008 1:52:51 PM

Does Palin really want to get into character discussions?! She should discuss the fact that she took 7 months to acknowledge her pregnancy with Trig, the one in which he was pre-natally diagnosed with Down Syndrome; the one in which she barely gained weight and seemingly didn't take care of her body the way she did with past pregnancies; the same one in which she thought it was safe to take an 8 hour flight while in labor. No sane mother I know would be that careless with her pregnancy... To me, that speaks more about her character than her religious or personal relationships.
