Palin Questions McCain Decision to Not Hit Obama on Wright

New York Times columnist William Kristol asked Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, if the campaign is hitting Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., for his connections to William Ayers, why wouldn't they go after his much closer connection to Rev. Jeremiah Wright?

"To tell you the truth, Bill, I don’t know why that association isn’t discussed more," Palin said,

"because those were appalling things that that pastor had said about our great country, and to have sat in the pews for 20 years and listened to that —with, I don’t know, a sense of condoning it, I guess, because he didn’t get up and leave — to me, that does say something about character. But, you know, I guess that would be a John McCain call on whether he wants to bring that up."

This comes after Palin publicly questioned another McCain campaign decision, to stop trying to full compete in Michigan.

"I want to get back to Michigan, and I want to try," Palin told Fox News' Carl Cameron. "Todd and I, we’d be happy to get back to Michigan. We’d be so happy to speak to the people there in Michigan who are hurting."

"Obama is the man of vision and will revitalize the American dream."

Oh please, the destruction of us all.

It's funny how he gets you all worked up about the economy and he lies about McCain that he voted for our own jobs in the U.S. to go oveseas, and it's not even close of being true. The REAL reason why most of our jobs here are being shipped overseas is because there are lower taxes over there and there are higher taxes over here.

And he has just brainwashed this country in his "fantasy world"

And people talk about McCain being old,
well look at the vice presidential nominee Joe Biden.

And Obama being inexperienced, well so is sarah palin as well.

SO LIKELY PEOPLE, IT'S VICE VERSA ON BOTH SIDES OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION!!!!!

All you people are missing the point, I believe that its a choice of the lesser evil, not who is honest or experienced. The truth is that our world is in a delicate place now, where Americans are no longer free and take the smallest things for granted. I am not that smart of an individual and i can see that McCain is the only choice not necessarily a good one but we need his security abilities to protect our lazy complacent ways. We need to ask ourselves who would our enemies like to see in office and pick the other. They will fear McCain and hopefully give us four more years to find someone worthy of the American people. Our enemies will not fear or respect Obama and they will view this as a weekness. Our economy will mean nothing if the terrorist get there way. Life as we know will end. For our children not ourselves please put McCain in office and let the search go on for the right person for four more years. Your point of views are all trivial compared to the survival of our country and children.

THIS WAS NOT APPROVED BY ANYONE!!!!!!!!

The more one gets to know about Obama, the more confusing it gets ...

Obama has changed the definition of Senator and Congressman

- He has voted 'Present' 133 times

Come on ... that is in-action ... he was sent to the senate to 'work'

- He has been in senate for only '145 days' since he was elected 3 years ago

- A couple of weeks ago when the bailout was being worked out ... call me if you need me ... what the heck is that ?

Where is the work ethic, leadership ???

Posted by: Present4Voting | Oct 7, 2008 4:46:58 PM

I thought Mccain had a country first attitude! It looks like its COUNTRY FIRST, ONLY, if he is leading in his presidential campaign! If, he is losing, @#!% the country; the economy, peoples plight, and wall street, SHOULD BE HIS FOCUS, not SPEECHES THAT FOSTER RACIST UNDERTONES, race hatred, fear mongering and instigations that may cause violent behavior! IF THIS IS WHAT JOHN MCCAIN CALLS COUNTRY FIRST, THEN THE COUNTRY WILL LOSE UNDER HIS ADMINISTRATION! The Washington Post article reported that Palin supporters yelled racist comments at minority attendees at a rally yesterday! Palin blamed Katie Couric’s questions for her less than successful interview with mainstream media.

Posted by: Every Wilson | Oct 7, 2008 4:09:03 PM

Both McCain and Palin need to show some leadership and get control over their supporters who went overboard with the racial slurs and death threat which was apparently directed towards Obama. The Rebublican Party is resorting to mob rule. An apology from the McCain campaign would be helpful.

Posted by: Drew Hoffman | Oct 7, 2008 3:47:29 PM

Once again the team of mavericks are at it. this time it got VERY SERIOUS. Palins little hate rally in Florida got the hatered of a United States Senator brought front and center Calling for presidential nominee Barck Obama's DEATH This is indeed the LOWEST of the lows we have all seen from the GOP's nominees during this campaign. I wonder IF the Secret Service took Gov. Palin aside afterwards for a lecture on security for ALL the candidates?

Posted by: faxbot | Oct 7, 2008 3:38:04 PM

Palin has turned to McCarthyist tactics. I'm disgusted by the mob mentality of her supporters. Both sides need to back off, but at this point I'm blaming McCain's campaign - they went overboard this weekend.

And they claim to be Uniters?

Posted by: billthomson | Oct 7, 2008 3:37:56 PM

Ok I get the Hockey Mom thing but I'm not sure about "Joe Sixpack" Does this refer to guys with tight abs or guys who drink six-packs of beer??? We have neither in my neighborhood. Joe Kegger or Willie the Fifth, maybe.Although she is cute ,adorable, and folksy I still think she is a Slap in the Face to all the women in this country that have worked so hard to rise above the "glass ceiling. And she wants the VP to have more power than before.....someone please give a SHOUT OUT! VOTE AGAINST PALIN !

Posted by: HeartofCountry | Oct 7, 2008 3:31:38 PM

And Lorie...btw...I would NOT have aborted that child! Yes, I AM pro-choice, but I personally would not have an abortion. But I don't think anyone should be able to tell me it's not my legal right to do so. This is what so many people ignore about pro-choice believers.

So, don't pass judgement on ME! You don't know me. Cuz that would then make you a hypocrite.

Posted by: hipupamerica | Oct 7, 2008 2:32:52 PM

I'm not saying I know her or know what was going through her head. I'm just saying it's a bit suspicious. I just can't imagine a mother being that careless, even after 4 other pregnancies. And after 4 pregnancies, a smart woman would know she's pregnant.

Posted by: Jodi | Oct 7, 2008 2:09:41 PM

dont know why election commision or courts are not dragged in putting sarah behind the bars for inciting hatred and killing a presidential candidate.

Posted by: joyboy | Oct 7, 2008 1:56:28 PM

so Jodi, you know Sarah then huh? to pass judgment on what she did or didn't do when she was pregnant? Maybe for some period of time she didn't know she was pregnant, maybe she was concerned that the people of Alaska would frown on it, maybe its none of your business, it doesn't affect the way she was running the state and it is overly apparent when you see that family, that they love that little boy. I suppose if it were you you would have aborted him when you found out he had downs. Don't give her or her husband any credit for accepting the situation and having the little boy anyway.

Posted by: lorie | Oct 7, 2008 1:52:51 PM

Does Palin really want to get into character discussions?! She should discuss the fact that she took 7 months to acknowledge her pregnancy with Trig, the one in which he was pre-natally diagnosed with Down Syndrome; the one in which she barely gained weight and seemingly didn't take care of her body the way she did with past pregnancies; the same one in which she thought it was safe to take an 8 hour flight while in labor. No sane mother I know would be that careless with her pregnancy... To me, that speaks more about her character than her religious or personal relationships.

I don't think this race is over, I think most Republicans do not voice their opinions and I know they aren't polled, because, probably 75% of the people I know are voting for McCain and none of them have been polled.
I don't believe, either, that if you are a Christian, you can vote for the liberal side of things, it is too far left and if you are anything like me, my faith is a part of me, separation of church and state aside, my beliefs make me who I am, I can't go against what I stand for, what is in my heart. I don't trust Obama or the things he says. Watch fox news... get the story from all sides, not just the main stream liberal media. They are the big joke here.

Posted by: lorie | Oct 7, 2008 1:46:54 PM

Let's face it, no republican or democrat will change their vote no matter what we say here.
The reality is that McCain has come short so far and he has inherited a very large stone around his neck, the present administration and a worsening economy. It is not fair to blame the Republican administration for this mess but most people will and the people that counts, the independent voter will.
This race is over, we just have to count the votes.

Obama is a poser- he is not from a traditional African-American family, he spent his formative years outside of this country, his father was not American-
this from his grandmothers wikipedia site:
On March 18, 2008, in a speech on race relations in Philadelphia in the wake of controversial videos of Obama's pastor Jeremiah Wright surfacing, Obama described his grandmother:

I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother - a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe.[16]

On March 20, 2008, in a radio interview on Philadelphia's WIP (AM), Obama explained this remark by saying:

The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity - she doesn't. But she is a typical white person, who, if she sees somebody on the street that she doesn't know...there's a reaction that's been bred into our experiences that don't go away and that sometimes come out in the wrong way, and that's just the nature of race in our society".[17][18]

Obama's use of the phrase "typical white person" was highlighted by a gossip columnist for the Philadelphia Daily News and subsequently picked up by commentators on the Huffington Post blog, ABC News and other media outlets.[19][20][21][22] Several of the commentators suggested that if Hillary Clinton had used the phrase "typical black person" the public response would have been different.[19][20] In a CNN interview, when Larry King asked him to clarify the "typical white person" remark, Obama said:

Well, what I meant really was that some of the fears of street crime and some of the stereotypes that go along with that were responses that I think many people feel. She's not extraordinary in that regard. She is somebody that I love as much as anybody. I mean, she has literally helped to raise me. But those are fears that are embedded in our culture, and embedded in our society, and even within our own families, even within a family like mine that is diverse.[22]

Madelyn Dunham apparently did not express these views in public. Dennis Ching, who worked with her for more than 40 years, "never heard her say anything like that. I never heard her say anything negative about anything. And she never swore." Hawaiian State Senator Sam Slom, who worked with her at the Bank of Hawaii, said "I never heard Madelyn say anything disparaging about people of African ancestry or Asian ancestry or anybody's ancestry." [4]

Sarah Palin can see Russia from her backyard

But wait ...

Obama can see domestic terrorist Bill Ayers from his backyard

He can see a radical thug and country hater Farrah Khan from his backyard

He can see a lunatic Rev Wright from his side yard

Obama - the radical lunatic on the loose

Posted by: ObamaLunatic | Oct 7, 2008 1:30:51 PM

further- to whomever says that relationships do not matter, I am sorry- MY past/present relationships/associations do not matter-YOUR past and present relationships/associations do not matter BUT the relationships and associations of a presidential candidate DO matter. I do not want some extremists making decisions for me, whether it be in Congress or the White House.... and you are right, this should not be about race, if you happen to be African-American- you don't have to vote for Obama because he is HALF African-American... which is also played down in the media so as we forget that he is half white.

Posted by: lorie | Oct 7, 2008 1:29:38 PM

If Obama hasnt listened to any of Wright's rant for 20 years what is the guarantee that he will listen to the main street demand of change, reform and energy independence

Obama cannot be trusted

Posted by: FakeChange | Oct 7, 2008 1:24:03 PM

Why is it that Gov. Palin want to put Rev. Wright in play as fair game in slinging mud at Sen. Obama,But her witch-hunting rev. Muthee is not all all someone we should be questioning, after it is the rev.Muthee who laid hands on her while at her church of 22years she being a member of lets look into her religous beliefs and background, I'll bet what you find is for mor shocking than the ranting and raving the Rev. Wright spewed of which Sen. Obama has more than once repudiated. What has Palin done to distance herself from this self proclaimed WITCH-HUNTER hmmmm maybe it's because she is actually the witch in which he was trying to get rid of,lets look a lot deeper into her unknown background as well maybe you Republicans want find her so appealing after all. She can sling mud but can't take it, my suggestion to her is stop being a potty mouth for McCain cause in the she is also in the minority when it comes to this white male dominated republican party. Get a grip Sarah and chill, you are being used by a womanizer and cheater oh did I forget to mention he is also a traitor according to his fellow POW inmates, so before you go slinging mud LOOK in your own back yard and I assure you it want be Russia you see.

your pastor is a close entity (alliance) if not why was Barrack in church? He doesn't listen at church? sure he did and he agreed! You cannot change your past, Obama is really trying to hide his...maybe we need to look at his friends...and yes they were part of the Obamanation and always will be, what is Barrack going to give them once he is elected...? probably is coming out of my taxes...

This is ridiculous to read and even more ridiculous to see what people actually believe. I am voting for McCain and Palin. I want someone that represents me in Washington, not someone that is a first generation American who has ties to unscrupulous people. Yes- some of you no nothings Sarah Palin DID say she was NEVER involved in a party that wanted to secede from the Union (what is this 1862?)and has always been a republican. Obama has had the voice in the Senate for two years and they haven't gotten anything done- your liberal democrats in Congress.... so blame the lenders, blame the congress and blame the American's that signed their name on the dotted line when they shouldn't have. everyone needs to take responsibility including your new jesus- Obama- if it looks like a snake acts like a snake and talks like a snake- IT IS A SNAKE!

Posted by: lorie | Oct 7, 2008 1:13:43 PM

John McCain is for all people; however, he voted against the MLK Jr. National Holiday bill twice. I don't think so. How man non-minorities are working in key positions in his campaign or in any position? Let's be real. This race is all about race and people just hate to admit it.

The Real Obama
By Thomas Sowell

Critics of Senator Barack Obama make a strategic mistake when they talk about his "past associations." That just gives his many defenders in the media an opportunity to counter-attack against "guilt by association."

We all have associations, whether at the office, in our neighborhood or in various recreational activities. Most of us neither know nor care what our associates believe or say about politics.

Associations are very different from alliances. Allies are not just people who happen to be where you are or who happen to be doing the same things you do. You choose allies deliberately for a reason. The kind of allies you choose says something about you.

Jeremiah Wright, Father Michael Pfleger, William Ayers and Antoin Rezko are not just people who happened to be at the same place at the same time as Barack Obama. They are people with whom he chose to ally himself for years, and with some of whom some serious money changed hands.

Some gave political support, and some gave financial support, to Obama's election campaigns, and Obama in turn contributed either his own money or the taxpayers' money to some of them. That is a familiar political alliance-- but an alliance is not just an "association" from being at the same place at the same time.

Obama could have allied himself with all sorts of other people. But, time and again, he allied himself with people who openly expressed their hatred of America. No amount of flags on his campaign platforms this election year can change that.

Unfortunately, all that most people know about Barack Obama is his own rhetoric and that of his critics. Moreover, some of his more irresponsible critics have made wild accusations-- that he is not an American citizen or that he is a Muslim, for example.

All that such false charges do is discredit Obama's critics in general. Fortunately, there is a documented, factual account of what Barack Obama has actually been doing over the years, as distinguished from what he has been saying during this election campaign, in a new best-selling book.

That book is titled "The Case Against Barack Obama" by David Freddoso. He starts off in the introduction by repudiating those critics of Obama who "have been content merely to slander him-- to claim falsely that he refuses to salute the U.S. flag or was sworn into office on a Koran, or that he was born in a foreign country."

This is a serious book with 35 pages of documentation in the back to support the things said in the main text. In other words, if you don't believe what the author says, he lets you know where you can go check it out.

Barack Obama's being the first serious black candidate for President of the United States is what most people consider remarkable but how he got there is at least equally surprising.

The story of Obama's political career is not a pretty story. He won his first political victory by being the only candidate on the ballot-- after hiring someone skilled at disqualifying the signers of opposing candidates' petitions, on whatever technicality he could come up with.

Despite his words today about "change" and "cleaning up the mess in Washington," Obama was not on the side of reformers who were trying to change the status quo of corrupt, machine politics in Chicago and clean up the mess there. Obama came out in favor of the Daley machine and against reform candidates.

Senator Obama is running on an image that is directly the opposite of what he has been doing for two decades. His escapes from his past have been as remarkable as the great escapes of Houdini.

Why much of the public and the media have been so mesmerized by the words and the image of Obama, and so little interested in learning about the factual reality, was perhaps best explained by an official of the Democratic Party: "People don't come to Obama for what he's done, they come because of what they hope he can be."

David Freddoso's book should be read by those people who want to know what the facts are. But neither this book nor anything else is likely to change the minds of Obama's true believers, who have made up their minds and don't want to be confused by the facts.

Why does Obama get so defensive and pissed off when he his asked about his past ?

Shouldn't the voters know who the real Obama is ???

Wake up Obama ... dont be asleep the same way you were for 20 years in Rev Wright's church

Posted by: wakeup | Oct 7, 2008 12:01:49 PM

I find it amazing that there is no little coverage of the Palin rally where she talked about Obama and Ayers over a chant of "Kill Them" "Kill Him" Doesn't the first amendment have some taboos about inciting to riot or commit murder?

If an Obama rally chanted "KIll Him" talking about McCain, it would be lynching time!

I am getting a little tired of the double standard.

As for Ayers, anyone who has dealt with education reform in Illinois in the past thirty years has dealt with Ayers. Want some pictures of him with a couple of republican governors, senators, etc., republican secretary of education?

Incidentally the project that Ayers and Obama workedon was funded by -----A REPUBLICAN!

Is character counts, ask McCain why he turned tail and ran after precipitating a major fire on the Forrestal. Everyone else, pilots, included, all ranks, went to pitch in on fire control after an explosion took out the first responders. All that is except McChicken who ran like the devil was after him. Talk to the deck frew of the Forrestal if you want to hear the real story of his Navy service. (You can only stand so many references to Admiral Daddy.....)

Can't we talk about issued for a while?

" I question the patriotism of both Sarah and Todd Palin. It's no secret that Alaskan's have no respect for those of us who live in the ‘lower 48‘. But the part that really troubles me is the assoication and membership that both Sarah and Todd have in the Alaska Independant Party which calls for Alaska to secede from the United States.

AIP founder, Joe Vogler has made the following comments regarding seceding and the United States in general:

"The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government," and "And I won't be buried under their damn flag,"

Sarah and Todd Palin have never repudiated or distanced themselves from those statements.

The country needs leadership during these tough economic times and two wars in addition to further securing the homeland, immigration issues, education and above all find a long term solution for energy dependence

Can Obama be trusted ???

I dont believe so ...

- He doesnt want to take responsibilty

- He doesnt show leadership (call me when you need me)

- Not once has he stood up to his own party

- Raised taxes 94 times

- Launced his political career in the living room of a domestic terrorist (he claims he did not know the past of Bill Ayers ... so not true)

- Sat in the church for 20 years where a saddistic man was ranting hate for the country (he claims not once did he hear anything of that)

- ACORN (one of the culprits in the current economic crisis) ... he trained them ... not once did he raise concern for the malpractice in Fannie and Freddie

- Above all demeans the country just to pander to Europeans

Obama, so far has shown poor judgement and lack of character

Good Try Obama ... Thanks but No Thanks

McCain slapped the American women in the face when he sided with his counterparts in choosing Palin as his VP of choice. Now he and she are using "racist tactics" and false statements to put Obama and his family in harms way.
McCain is suppost to be an American Patriot and yet he comes off now looking like "Hitler" in disguise with Palin as his SPOKESPERSON!! Allowing comments from Palin to achieve "lets kill him threats" was beyond what someone running for President of The United States should have done!!
Palins disagreements with McCain now should be a bullseye to what she would do if elected VP of this great country.
She even calls Americans "joe sixpacks". Shes an insult to women across America, and her trying to sound like one "daisy duke" with her fake smile, is another insult to us country gals across the USA!! If this is what McCain and Palin have in store for us if elected, we all need to start packing now!!
How many people realize now that McCain voted for the Bailout because it had an earmark in it for Palin? Tax breaks for Alaskan Fishermen!! Shame on McCain!!

the hateful comments of his wife, she has no associations,or love for this country,Obama ties lay elsewhere too,We have only so much time to make our minds up,And much time to pay if there is a wrong choice made,MCcain has more experience in government, and i think the true Spirit of country, and for Palin I think she would fight for this country too,not a time to get wishy washy, and let our ideals slide by,

The reason he said that is because there were things that Palin could say that Biden can't. So its a lose lose situation in my opinion. Like SNL said, all she had to do was not vomit or run and she had a good day. At least Biden knows what the Bush Doctrine is. Hey, you think you could get her to ACTUALLY answer questions if they did have another debate??

Not the I gotcha, Joe sixpack darn it, that is why she is a joke to the SISTERHOOD.

The best assessment of the Biden-Palin vice presidential debate came from the highly-respected NBC anchor Tom Brokaw who, right after the debate, said:

"The democrats must be happy that there is only one vice presidential debate."

Gov. Palin has more experience than Barack Obama. By any mesaure, Gov. Palin is more knowledgeable about government and governance than Obama. That is a fact.

I don't have any confidence in Barack Hussein Obama. Period. Especially with the type of dangerous mentors and close friends like Rev. Wright, Rezko and Ayers that Obama has, I don't trust him at all.

If the chioice comes between a shady and an inexperienced democrat like Barack Hussein Obama and the guy on the other side, I will vote for a true American and patriotic Republican like John McCain in any election.

Being a democrat will never compel me to vote for an unqualified celebrity like Barack Hussein Obama. I need and will definitely vote for a true leader either like Hillary Clinton or John McCain.

I'm a registered Republican, and McCain's choice of Palin for VP has completely alienated me from him and his extremist running mate. She wants to resurrect that old (failed) attempt at tying Obama to Wright?

Fine; let's look at how much influence Palin's church has with her, the witch doctor that blessed her, her use of church members in official positions as both Mayor and Governor, etc, etc. The media already investigated Obama and Wright, but they've avoided Palin's sordid past and barely brushed the surface there!

Go on Sarah honey, dig in; you and McCain will lose by historic levels instead of just losing badly.

Sarah Palin is a joke. Buy her glasses, shoes and fix your hair like her if you want, but PLEASE do not vote for the McCain/Palin ticket in the fall. I think a few people have lost sight that it's not Palin who is running for President.

dear bob,
can we change your word to "If this is all you have, you are making trouble to John this November.

Sarah - you're gonna talk to the people of Michigan about Rev. Wright and this is supposed to help them from hurting? How exactly is that gonna work? Are you bringing energy jobs to Michigan? Are you going to resurrect Detroit's failing auto industry? Sarah - the real issue is the economy, stupid. It has nothing to do with Rev. Wright who Obama has already written off long ago. No one can control what another person says. It's a free country. If this is all you have, both you and John are in real trouble this November.

If Reverend Wright is fair game this late in the campaigns with election day around the corner, then troopergate and Palin's preacher man who believes in and prays to protect Palin from witchcraft is also fair game. So is the Palin's belief, her church, that a homosexual can be prayed over and made into a heterosexual. Fair game is McCain's ties to terrorists during Iran-Contra affair, his Keating scandal, and more. Palin just needs to shut her pie hole as nothing intelligent seems to emerge from those thin lying old lips.

Palin may be good for attacking Obama, but not for the future of the america.
Definitely, if Palin go into the White House, Alaska will no longer being a part of america.
We need a president who can make the state better, no matter white or black.
And now,the only choice is Barack Obama

Posted by: mhy | Oct 7, 2008 8:28:25 AM

Who is really palling around with terrorists and praying with whacked out preachers??

Posted by: Paula in Va. | Oct 7, 2008 8:26:33 AM

Lucky for palin she doesn't have another debate. With a better moderator she wouldn't be able to get away with not answering any questions. Obama/Biden 2008!!!

Posted by: pt | Oct 7, 2008 8:18:02 AM

Why does palin's husband belong to the AIP? He doesn't even want to be part of the USA for heavens sake. Obama/Biden 2008!!!

Sarah Palin is the same as Rev. Wright. They both are radicals

Posted by: JC Watts | Oct 7, 2008 7:53:42 AM

Palin's campaign history in Alaska shows that she is a nasty, nasty little politician. (Read the NYTimes article on how she become mayor of Wasilla.) STICK TO THE ISSUES.

Posted by: James | Oct 7, 2008 5:06:12 AM

Sarah Palin is right! Rev. Wright should be brought out again! NO ONE can sit and listen to a minister preach every Sunday for 20 years without knowing what is being preached and without agreeing with him! It doesn't make sense! I think Barack Obama lied when he said that he didn't know what Rev. Wright preached! Rev. Wright preached too loud for ANYONE to sleep during HIS sermons! This definitely needs to be brought out again and they also should bring out the stuff about all of Barack Obama's other associates too!

Posted by: carlyonsue | Oct 7, 2008 1:41:39 AM

Sarah Palin is toxic, and by choosing her as his running mate, McCain has completely destroyed his credibility as a presidential candidate. Every time I see one of their attack ads (full of lies and distortion), and hear McCain say, "I'm John McCain, and I approved this message," I say, "and you should be ashamed of yourself!" Though I disagree with many of his positions, I used to have respect for McCain, but no more. He's shown that he's just like any other Republican and will do or say ANYTHING to get elected. He has no honor.

Posted by: Aerin | Oct 7, 2008 1:25:49 AM

The McCain/Palin will do anything to change the focus of the issue of the economy, they truely believe it will work for them, they will use their gutter Politics to change the focus of the real issue.

McCain or Palin does not intent on running a clean campaign we might as well
get over it , their agenda is more important than to run a clean campaign, McCain want's wars and Palin want her Holy wars ,neither one understand and wants America to be fically strong, neither one of them understands the ecomony, nor do they care. "beware!

Posted by: gman | Oct 7, 2008 12:42:09 AM

Gov. Sarah Palin is 100% correct. To those of you fellow Americans that plan to vote for Barack Obama, ask yourself why his associations with Wright, & Ayers, and such have not gotten sufficient and full media coverage.

Mariann Pepitone Ask the Chief is for McCain

Posted by: Ask the Chief | Oct 6, 2008 11:35:57 PM

McCain says Obama has invited seriuos questioning. McCain raises serious questions as to which nursing home Cindy needs to have him retired to!! Obama does not have to answer to McCain, he only has to answer to the American people and he tells me EVERYTHING I want to hear. ;-)I am saying "LALALALALA" to anything negative to my President Obama!! ;-)

Palin is a racist and believes in witch doctors. Her hubby has ties to a group wanting AK to leave the US.Who is this Fargo want to be to ? anybody.Obama/Biden or Bust..Proud to be an American

Posted by: Didi | Oct 6, 2008 10:51:59 PM

That minister was just a visiting minister and who knows when somebody starts praying for you, where it's gonna end up, LOL. At least he didn't scream racist remarks against white people and say the American government created aids to infect black men. And the whole church wasn't standing up hooting and hollering in joy at the rev. putting down white people. Let's face it, Obama sat in a racist church for more than 20 years and there's no way to spin it. I've also been reading Dreams of My Father and he sure sounds like he's got the hatin' on for white people in that book.

THE ONLY REASON SARAH PALIN LEFT THE AIP TO JOIN GOP WAS TO BECOME VIABLE

PALIN THE RADICAL

Palin is a radical disguised as a GOP scoccer mom

The Alaskan Independence Party and Palin''''''''''''''''s Connection

In October 2007, AIP''''''''''''''''s vice chairman Dexter Clark was recorded on another video saying that, "Palin had been a registered member of AIP before switching to the GOP to be viable.

The founder of the AIP, Joe Vogler, who died in a plastic-explosives accident (but that''s a whole other story) is clearly a radical simply by his own words.

ABC and CBS reported that Vogler said, "I''m an Alaskan, not an American. I''ve no use for America or her damned institutions." He also said that "the fires of Hell are glaciers compared to my hate for the American government."

Dear Mr. McCain and Ms Palin,
For the sake of America and the world, may I suggest that from this moment on you should turn to support Mr. Obama and Mr. Biden for a new direction. Do you know how many millions of people are living in silent pains and sufferings and praying to Gods for a change. Be brave to do so for a better livelihood for ordinary citizens. Lyle

Posted by: lyle | Oct 6, 2008 9:54:06 PM

Hmmm.. Palin wants Wright in the debate? It's because she's a scumbag, who'll do anything to win, no matter how shifty. She's just another psuedoChristian power player. Wake up Christians....there's nothing about McCain Palin that is remotely similar to "what would Jesus do?"

BEYOND EMBASSING, MCCAIN IS PATHETIC !!!
First The Savings and Loan and Now Wall Street. No Maverick. Corrupt McCain.
From the Wikipedia. Unlike McCain’s Lies, This is The Truth. Same McCain, Different Failure. Our Country cannot afford McCain/Palin.
The Keating Five were five United States Senators accused of corruption in 1989, igniting a major political scandal as part of the larger Savings and Loan crisis of the late 1980s and early 1990s. The five senators, Alan Cranston (D-CA), Dennis DeConcini (D-AZ), John Glenn (D-OH), John McCain (R-AZ), and Donald W. Riegle (D-MI), were accused of improperly aiding Charles H. Keating, Jr., chairman of the failed Lincoln Savings and Loan Association, which was the target of an investigation by the Federal Home Loan Bank Board (FHLBB).
The core allegation of the Keating Five affair is that Keating had made contributions of about $1.3 million to various U.S. Senators, and he called on those Senators to help him resist regulators. The regulators backed off, to later disastrous consequences.
