The Washington Post Uncovers a New Biden Wrinkle
October 14, 2008 7:39 AM
...or an eye-opening lack thereof, to be precise.
"Completely untrue, completely unsubstantiated," Biden spokesman David Wade says of the newspaper's probing as to whether Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., has had Botox. "A lot of Americans will have fewer worry lines on their faces" when George Bush is out of office, he added. "But my goodness, until then, can't we actually talk about the economy, the millions of foreclosures and the fact that Americans lost 2 trillion bucks in their 401(k)s this month? Seriously."
On a less ... superficial ... note, "Nightline's" Terry Moran spent Sunday with Biden; you can find the dot-com version of his report HERE and the video HERE.

1929 speech? Huh? Some silly stab at Biden's age?
Pretty ridiculous considering McCain is about 100 years old.

the "washed-out post" must be news hungry...never-mind the economy is falling to crap...never-mind we are losing good, young men everyday in a completely useless war...and there must be other important revelations, such as "was mickey and minnie" really into cartoon porn

So what? Sarah Palin is lying about the troopergate results.

really abc? botox? abc glamorifies people who wear botox!

The economy is in the crapper and we are asking if Biden had botox. Who gives a rat's behind. More power to him if he did.
Will this stop me from voting for Obama/Biden? Hell no. Geez, report on things that make a difference.

Yeah, who cares about botox. Ask Biden about his aide Muthoni Wambu.
Posted by: geevill | Oct 14, 2008 9:05:58 AM
Sure he did. Many older men especially with younger wives do this now adays. Shallow? Yes. Vain? Yes. Looks weird? yes. Does it make me respect him less because he's not comfortable in his own skin and not gracefully embracing the lines of wisdom and knowledge and charcter of a lifetime lived? True. But who cares really.

said Biden as he dined at Katie's watching footage of FDR giving his famous 1929 TV speech.

I think the strange Biden face distortion is caused by a terrible guilt of being associated with Marxist Obama.

The Botox goes nicely with the caps and plugs.

If you are going to change your vote based on one of the candidates using Botox, then do us all a favor and stay home on election day.

So typical of the Washington Post as well as most of the news media. What the &^^% does Botox treatments have to do with ANYTHING! With all the real issues confronting this country!! The media and McCain should get along well. Completely out of touch and nothing and no one to fall back on.

I could care less. I dont elect someone based upon whether they have had cosmetic surgury. He could have a face-lift and I would still vote for him over McLame/Stalin. Hes miles ahead of them intellectually, and ethically.

The Washington post? You mean the capitalist newspaper that is STILL pissed off that democrats struck out the huge Wall Street CEO bonuses in the bailout bill?
So we'll add it to the list...
Ayers
Rezko
Arcorn
"Must be Muslim with that middle name"
"Kenya Campaign"
And now the latest republican last gasp...
"Botox"!
President Obama 53% - Runner up McCain 43%.
This is why.

Who the hell cares! I am a supporter no matter what! This is crazy that the media has nothing better to talk about but Biden's face! What happened to the stories on the troops? Good grief!
Posted by: Renee | Oct 14, 2008 8:17:33 AM
I like Joe Biden. He and Obama are both leaders and I will vote for them on election day!!

McCain might want to try it...
might get rid of the scowl...
usually when he is looking off camera at his campaign staff... or Cindy.
