If they make it hard for people to earn above 250K, how will anyone make a million ? By waiting for the wealth spread from the Billionaires!! These Billionires are not selfish. A million here or there is really not that much from this level. But if entrepreneurs are hindered at the pass, there will be no more millionaires, much less billionaires. Kill the golden goose!

I am sure Obama and Biden would love to sell their million dollar mansions, use these proceeds to spread the wealth around. No one should live in million dollar mansions till everyone has a house... shades of 1984. These two are not selfish, or are they ? Check their charitable contributions. For their million dollar earnings, they hardly gave anything!! But they are really generous with OTHER PEOPLE's MONEY! Particularly Joe the Plumber's.

Spread the Wealth!!
After the election how much of the 600+ millions of obama's campaign dollars do you think the DNC will be donating to help or feed the homeless?

If You Could be President What Would You Do?

It's so easy even a child can understand!

I was talking to a friend's little girl, and she said she wanted to be President some day.

Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her,

'If you were to be the President, what's the first thing you would do?' She replied, 'I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people.'

'Wow - what a worthy goal.' I told her, 'But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that.

You can come over to my house and mow the grass, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food or a new house.'

She thought that over for a few seconds, 'cause she's only 6.

And while her Mom glared at me, the little girl looked me straight in the eye and asked, 'Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?'

And I said, 'Welcome to the Republican Party.'

Her folks still aren't talking to me.

Some food for thought.................................

Hey Jake,
you got older !!! comparing your picture you have on this blog..

Obama's not being good to you???

Posted by: frieda | Oct 31, 2008 4:49:15 PM

If you have any doubt what phony, hypocrisy is, you simply just look at 0bama.

On one hand, he lectures his subsidiaries selfishness, charity, contribution to the common good of the society.

On the other hand, he panders his blind followers by bribery, cash giveaways, $1000 if you vote for him.

He promises to take care of you, giving you opportunities to get into the middle class; yet, he leaves his own brother in poverty at $1 per month in his homeland, his aunt on the streets of Boston.

Mr. Bush answers the call of a Higher Father and you know what he has done in the past 8 years.

Mr. 0bama has his own Higher Father, and he is Karl Marx. Do you really want to find out what he will do answering these calls?

Your Beautiful crew, Jake? LOL

anyways, Michelle, I like that question: which one of McCain's policies are you supporting? In the spirit of this being the last weekend before the election, let's have a substantive discussion please. So, please, which McCain policy made you his fan? Education? (you like vouchers, perhaps) Energy? (you are not crazy about the smart grid, perhaps? might put too much people to work?)

I am asking sincerely, please I beg you, tell me one thing that McCain is doing that shows he has a genuine intention to make this country a little tiny bit more competitive in the world market? Anything that shows that he will do ANY THING different from Bush. I so so mean that question... what difference exists between their policies.

I am really dumbfounded over how 80 percent of the country thinks Bush has had a bad plan for the country and yet a whole lot of that 80 percent are willing to vote for Sen McCain who has NOT proposed anything different. Please Michelle (or anybody else out there) help us understand. and please act like Obama doesn't exist when you offer your explanation. I, for one, rather have no president than have a Bush-like president. Better to do away with government like have been suggesting and just live our peaceful lives. But I will take any explanation today.

geevill-1933 will come with a McCain/Palin presidency, not an Obama/Biden presidency. Bush is now, at this very minute, pushing through more deregulation to further the endangerment of consumer rights and protections and the environment. Haven't we had enough destruction from the last eight years? We need more? And with the religious right pushing their agenda of so-called "christianity" and "morals" there will be an awful lot of people ostracized. You can see that happening with the Elizabeth Dole ad against Kay Hagan. Personally, I don't care if someone is "godless." Isn't this country supposed to be about personal freedoms, including the right to/from religion? With McCain/Palin at the helm, McCarthyism will make a comeback and the SS will come knocking down our doors. Fascism here we come. But it looks like the dems will prevail this time. Finally. Sanity.

Obama/Biden '08

Michelle,

If you believe the polls like I do then you will come to the same conclusion as I have.

People are already cementing their expressed views in Early voting and Absentee Voting.

People will cement their expressed views on Nov. 4th. I believe they will vote as they have expressed to the pollsters.

If they do, McCain is toast and all our irrate rants on this blog amount to nothing.

IT'S OVER.

Got it?

geevill: I am calling Obama a dangerous egomaniac with a desire to force his socialist Frank Marshall Davis "living-wage" and Jeremiah Wright views on how he world should be on America. He is willing to silence any and all critics.
------
your own mccain said on Larry King that Obama is not or ever will be a socialist. Again, it was a lie from Mccain for a week that now he takes back. How can you vote for this crap.

Posted by: becky | Oct 31, 2008 11:54:30 AM

Michelle:
No, actually I think anyone voting for McCain has lost their minds, or they just do not care about their future or the future of their children.

Tell me Michelle, what one policy of McCain's do you believe will benefit the Nation as a whole?

Posted by: becky | Oct 31, 2008 11:51:05 AM

Steve:

Again, I ask...are you implying that the election is unnecessary? Pointless? Maybe, as some have implied, Bush should just go ahead and resign today so he can take the oath right away. Who needs that pesky Constitution anyway, right?

Posted by: Michelle | Oct 31, 2008 11:50:40 AM

Steave Cuozzo "If anybody dares speak against Obama, they will be punished"

And John McCain does the exact same thing, to an even greater degree actually. But reality doesn't matter to the Republican Party of Ignorance's base.

I am calling Obama a dangerous egomaniac with a desire to force his socialist Frank Marshall Davis "living-wage" and Jeremiah Wright views on how he world should be on America. He is willing to silence any and all critics.

Obama is really creepy guy. He has no qualms about the people he hangs out with. The LA Times is covering up his Israel bashing toast.

Posted by: geevill | Oct 31, 2008 11:50:24 AM

Michelle,

It is your absolute right to be in denial. It's a free country OK.

By this time in 2000 and 2004, Bush was leading Gore and Kerry in the Electoral College EV polls and he won the election, so stop lieing.

Again feel free to believe John McCain will prevail on Nov. 4th.

It is your right but I am sorry you are mistaken.

Posted by: Steve_NJ | Oct 31, 2008 11:40:43 AM

geevill: Give her or him a break, on November 4th she or he will gone like Mccain.

Posted by: becky | Oct 31, 2008 11:36:40 AM

Steve,

If it is "over"...are you implying that the election is not necessary? That it is a mere formality? What's next? Will it be guilty til proven innocent? Trials in the media?

From what I remember, the election isn't until November 4th. Ya'll thought Kerry was gonna win too. Same with Gore. Oh, and even Clinton only had 43% of the vote in 92, right? But for a little man named Perot....

Posted by: michelle | Oct 31, 2008 11:35:58 AM

ummmm...didn't mccain kick the media off all his planes a while ago.
