2012 Watch: Palin' Around With Larry King
November 12, 2008 9:57 PM
In addition to blaming some campaign missteps on various unnamed McCain strategists and bashing the media, Gov. Sarah Palin was asked by Larry King tonight about the possibility of running for president in the future.
"If I have to call an audible down the road here and circumstances change, and the door is open for me to do so," Palin said, "I would take that challenge on, that responsibility, if I believed it was in the nation's best interest."
She added later, when asked again, "if they call an audible on me, if they say they want me in another position, I'm gonna do it. I'm not gonna -- especially here, today -- tell you what some crystal ball is gonna show me, 'cause we don't know what that crystal ball has within it. And there again -- there again -- my hands, my life is in God's hands. If he's got doors open for me, that I believe are in our state's best interests, the nation's best interests, I'm gonna go through those doors."

This is why Sarah Palin is not fit to govern: she is a religious hypocrite.
Her behavior has encouraged evil, she did it knowingly and by design. She thereby became evil herself.
"Secret Service agents say Palin's attacks ignited a rise in death threats against the now US president-elect.
The US Secret Service blames Alaska Governor Sarah Palin for causing a spike in pre-election death threats against Senator Barack Obama.
"Secret Service agents revealed during the final weeks of the campaign that Palin's attacks on Obama's patriotism unintentionally encouraged a rise in death threats against the then Democratic candidate, the Daily Telegraph reported.
The former Republican vice presidential candidate accused Obama of 'palling around with terrorists' for his association with the sixties radical William Ayers.
Although Palin drew widespread criticism for the remarks by critics and opponents, the attacks created such an atmosphere at her rallies where supporters frequently yelled 'terrorist' and 'kill him'.
The McCain camp was then forced to order her to tone down the rhetoric.
According to the Telegraph report, the Secret Service warned the Obama family in mid October that there was a dramatic increase in the number of threats against the Democratic candidate, coinciding with Palin's attacks.
Two white supremacists, Daniel Cowart and Paul Schlesselman, were arrested in late October for plotting to assassinate the now president-elect Obama."
McCain aides, who blame the Alaska governor for losing the Nov. 4 elections, claim that Palin chose to question Obama's patriotism before clearing the approach by Senator McCain.

Oh, I agree. She is a comedic genius whenever she opens her mouth and lets the Palinese gush forth with Charlie and Katie and Sean and Greta and Matt and Wolf and Larry.
“I would have preferred more opportunity to speak to the media more often, because there were a lot of things that I think it could have, should have said that could have, would have helped John McCain."
And how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Thank You God for Sarah Palin. If she were to run again in 2012, I would not vote for her again. Along with a majority of America. So run Sarah run. It would make life that much sweeter. I dont' think the GOP will let her do that but it would be great if she did.

I'm just waiting for Barack Obama to make a huge mistake and fall from grace. I think it'll probably happen in the next six months or a year. The love affair with him will be over and people will finally see that he's just a man and not their savior. I think before his first term is finished most people will regret voting for him and turn on him and call for his impeachment!

To all of you who want Sarah Palin to shut up and go back to Alaska and never be heard from again. IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! She is an American! She has a right to go wherever she wants to and to say what she wants to anyone that she wants to say it to! If you don't want to listen to her, you don't have to, but she has a right to speak! I hope and pray that you have to listen to her speak as your president in 2012 or 2016!

I thank God for Sarah Palin.... without her, the Republicans might have won.

She's had her 15 minutes of fame. Now I wish she would go away.
If she is the face of the future GOP, I want no part of it.
America may never see another Republican president, thanks to her kind.

I love the idea of having Sarah around for the next four years, to counterbalance the O-Man. I think that everytime the O-Guy gives a speech Fox should bring Sarah on for instant analysis. If nothing else, she would be entertaining.

Will someone let Sarah Palin know the election is over. I just saw her on CSPAN still talking about Joe the Plumber. She was giving her stump speech to the Govs.

usa this has got nothing to do with Palin's accomplishments - it has mostly to do with people really tired of hearing her voice and the incoherent spume that comes out of her mouth. Hard to believe, but she's getting more and more annoying.

Before Gov. Palin came on the scene, none of you know who she was and then right away you attacked her, belittle her, said every nasty thing that came into your mind, not giving her a chance, and now your still at it. Just because she is a women who has accomplished what you probably never will.
Question: could you run for office, probably not.

Sarah Palin lost the election. She is getting more press than the president elect. ol' what's-his-name. The press should be talking about the economy, possible Detroit bailout, etc. Give it a rest.

Once Governor Palin gets to incoherently blabber directly to the America people without the filter of the media, the American people will know that incoherent blabber for what it truthfully is . . .

When all said and done Sarah Palin saved John McCains sinking campaign. Without her he would of lost by far more margin. She brings a freshness to the conservative party that has been unseen since Reagan. We all need to give her a chance and not have our minds made up due to media bias. So what if Africa statement is true or untrue, Obama said we had 57 states in our union., true or untrue who cares. Your on the road constantly campaigning you are bound to say blunders we are all human.
If us conservatives do not regroup and send some fresh energy into the white house we will never turn around this sinking ship filled with liberals.
Please review peoples records of reform before forming opinions based on what clothes she wore or what botox injection to a forehead cost.

Can someone diagram this woman's sentences please?

Sarah Palin did not make a very good first impression on most Americans. You only get one chance at that and people won't forget it.
Posted by: d | Nov 13, 2008 12:11:12 PM
free,
You know, they said the same thing about Reagan. They tried to make him out as this war monger that would lauch the nukes at the first opportunity. If Sarah Palin had no chance of gettign elected you would be ignoring her. But you are here, still trying to destroy her. As they say, "actions speak louder than words".
Sarah Palin will have an opportunity to speak directly to the American people. Like Reagan, they will like what she has to say when it comes to her governing principles. Good governance will beat out the ability to speak in quick sound bites every time.
