Is this a joke? Wow!

I hope we don't let hysterical, over-heated rhetoric (that's remarkably similar to what we heard coming out of Florida in 2000) disrupt the Minnesota recount process. I hope we don't end up with the sort of "riots" by Republican Congressional staffers that shut down the Miami Dade recount.
Coleman supporters have already started accusing Minnesota's Secretary of State of being in bed with ACORN, etc. This guy was elected in part on a promise to maintain the integrity of the election process.
Let's all calm down and let the good people of Minnesota count their votes.

If Minnesota elects Franken they will continue to be the laughing stock - the status that they so rightly gained electicing Ventura.
This is most likely the most corrupt political season America has ever seen. McCain clearly deserved to lose. Romney should have been the republican candidate - no connection to Bush, good on the economy, great on the auto industry and saving dying companies.
Thanks to Huckabee and the ineptness of the republicans we did not get Romney as a choice.
We need a third party - OK we also need term limits so that these corrupt politicians like Stevens do not get their hooks in.

So Coleman has jumped ship with Romney's blessings.

Two Bushies - Coleman and Romney - colluding on a recount of the most sacred of America's rights, the right to vote. I can smell the rot and corruption in MN already.

Had not Hillary Clinton come the eve of the election and asked Bill C to come the weekend before, Al would have had one vote less.

"The Dems are going to steal this election from Coleman and if Franken goes in you deserve what you get!"
Coleman deserves a harsh loss after his shameful characterization of the Wellstone memorial.

>>>I'm glad to know that Romney donated $5,000 toward [D-Minn] Franken's win against corrupt [R-Minn] Norm Coleman. I will be just as happy when the official recount is complete so that Franken can get on with the business at hand in Minnesota' Senate.<<<
Oh yeah...the recount hasn't even officially started and all of these "found" ballots are all magically for Franken. Talk about corrupt! The Dems are going to steal this election from Coleman and if Franken goes in you deserve what you get!

I'm glad to know that Romney donated $5,000 toward [D-Minn] Franken's win against corrupt [R-Minn] Norm Coleman. I will be just as happy when the official recount is complete so that Franken can get on with the business at hand in Minnesota' Senate.
Thanks Mitt!
Sounds like Mitt is trying even harder to become a Republican who has learned not to be so blatant about his flip-flops since he now knows the internet is NOT his friend. For him, I bet that was an expensive and hard lesson to learn!

The way things seem to be turning around for Franken [D-Minn] tells me that good ole boy Norm Coleman [R-Minn] doesn't stand a huge chance of staying in his seat. Can't wait to hear the end result of the hand count and it should ppear aquite soon.

"0bama tanked Al Franken's election bid. Our Greatest Leader scared away the moderate middle swingers who would have voted for Al"
ROFLMAO.
The MN had its own ups and downs apart from the national race(Franken's tax problems, Coleman's suit problems).
But the notion that Obama scared off moderate voters is laugh out loud funny. Exit polls show he won Independents by a decent margin and moderates by a whooping margin.

Republicans can "watch" 2012 all they want. Doesn't mean they're any liklier to win. btw, Al Franken wins the recount. bank on it.

Realize that there was enough hatred of Bush to vote for 0bama, but not so against Coleman, at least not that level. So, close association with 0bama is not necessarily a good thing in the Senate race.

0bama tanked Al Franken's election bid. Our Greatest Leader scared away the moderate middle swingers who would have voted for Al to the Barkley camp because 0bama called the night before the election to tell the voters to promote his Class Warfare in the Senate.
