After some Republicans tried everything to associate Obama with some terrorist, Mr. Bush thanked a real terrorist, Colonel Qadhafi, who murdered hundreds of Americans. Sounds ironic? LMAO.

It is so sad how some no matter what show there hate for Bush every chance they get but if any one did the same to the Clintons or now Obama we are called hatemonger or such. Yet to them it is okay never to have acknowledged Bush as President but low be the person who says that about Obama! Bush as history will show had to fight on three fronts terrorist. He fought them in Iraq, Afghanistan / Pakistan, and the hardest battle was right here in the US. The liberal who at all cost fought him at every turn and twist they could muster even to stopping to lies! Take the weapons of MSD. Iraq had them and used them this is a historical facts shown in the whole villages were ever man woman and child was killed with them. That alone is proof they had them, and even today when new proof comes out the liberal still will not admit that they were there and used! not a one of them will say how good of a job Bush did in keeping us safe from any more sneak attracts like 9-11 or how he removed the fight from our shores and took it to threes no to give Bush credit would be admitting they were wrong some thing the US liberal is incapable of doing yet is what separates the very best of us from the worst of us the ability of admitting when were wrong but just as the liberals supported there story in the 50's and 60's that there were no soviet spies working in the government that later turned out to be a lie they still can not admit it and nothing more but that is who they fully supported then and to this day they do not in my book support America but do they ones who are out to destroy us so that they can then have there socialistic government and change our constitution to what they want not what the founding fathers envisioned!

Yep, Bush got 130,000 of our troops in the middle of the Oil rich region of the world to keep other mad dogs in-check and to make sure they think twice before sending their checks or giving harbor to terrorists. Hate Bush all you want , but DO cross your fingers and pray that the incompetent and under-achieved Obama can accomplish HALF OF WHAT BUSH DID . Mark my words , wait and see!

Not surprising that Libya has the largest proven oil reserves in Africa and huge potential for more if properly explored... Gaddafi has no option but invite western oil companies to repair the energy sector's crumbling infrastructure so he can improve the country's output and give back a share of revenue to his people... He needs western capabilities and the west needs his sweet crude oil. That $1.5bn is pretty much pocket change when Libya has estimated foreign reserves of $100bn anyway.

Unless there's more to this statement than is given here, the President didn't "thank" Gaddafi. "Expressing satisfaction" is positive but it stops short of something as friendly and equal as that, as it should. While it makes sense to give some "praise" to Gaddafi, as I believe it was put on ABC news tonight, it doesn't to "thank" him. Gaddafi's Libya paid $1.5 billion to victims of its terrorism. If a criminal finishes his sentence, society doesn't "thank" him for doing so.
