First-Ever Blogger Tapped for Cabinet Quits Blogging
November 25, 2008 5:29 PM
You may recall of Peter Orszag -- PEBO's nominee to be director of the Office of Management and Budget -- that he would be the first ever blogger ever invited to a Cabinet rank job.
Sadly, today -- the day of his official announcement -- Orszag filed his last blog entry.
"Life is a series of hellos and goodbyes: A final blog entry," it is titled.
"Today President-elect Obama announced his intention to nominate me as director of the Office of Management and Budget," Orszag wrote. "I am therefore resigning as director of CBO and this will be my final blog entry..."
It goes on from there.

According to an online baby name site I found, "Peabo" means "peaceful" in an African language. Also I realized "If Ever I'm in Your Arms Again" is a great song.
So I can live with this PEBO nonsense if absolutely necessary.
But God I hope Jake cuts it out. If not, can we call him J-bo?

It's bittersweet his final blog will be by far, the most read one.
