Touching down in Tampa for the first event in a grueling, seven-stop last day, John McCain got a reminder of one of the problems that has dogged his candidacy for months: the enthusiasm gap.
In one of Florida's largest and perhaps most politically important areas, only about 1,000 people stood outside the Bucaneers stadium to greet the GOP nominee.
It was 1/15th of the crowd President Bush had four years ago in the same city.

the fact that B. Obama has stated that he will bankrupt one of the largest energy sectors in our country - is not news.
----------------
That's because he DID NOT say that. (Some of us actually LISTENED to the comments instead of parroting the latest FOX headline.
He said anyone wanting to build a new DIRTY COAL plant will go bankrupt trying if new emmission caps are placed on them.
That is not saying "he will bankrupt the industry". It a call for cleaner coal production - which MOST people support.
McCAIN SUPPORTS THE SAME EMISSION CAPS.
But, as always, the Pubs will distort and lie about a comment if they think it can help them.
Shhh. Don't tell anyone the truth ok?

Matt: I think all the news people who have been saying for a month now, that McCain needs to start talking on his points and not Obama, call McCain last week and convinced him that he was going to lose this race if he kept it up. Old man, your loosing this race, stop talking about Obama and start getting your point across.. LOL.... only problem is he still has no message.

Obama is calling for CLEAN COAL, that just means new plants to produce it, which would in return put out a large call for more coal, more coal, new plant, new jobs. Problem???

I agree with ABC - the fact that B. Obama has stated that he will bankrupt one of the largest energy sectors in our country - is not news.
I guess they have accepted nationalization of our private indutries. Yes, yes this is our plan and we appreciate your accomodations comrade. But be prepared, you are next.
Best regards,

OBAMA’s past is peppered with deception from the foreign money college loans, hidden college records, papers and associates and especially his lengthy involvement with the terrorist Ayres and criminal Rezo. He still hasn’t made a full discloser of his medical records. His recent visits and connections with relatives (Odinga) who are communist organizers responsible for the bloody anti Christian takeover in Kenya are especially troubling. The constitution requires the President to be natural born to avoid possible personal entanglements in foreign lands. Who is Obama? No one knows --- I guess American isn’t as important to many as it was to the ancestors who protected it.

Where was the McCain I saw in Tampa today, say for the last two months of this campaign? He was hitting all the pots and right notes at that rally. Too bad it's way past too late...
