We need a LEADER who can bring people together who might otherwise fight with one another.If Obama is going to make an impact on the rest of the world( some who really hate us) it is in Americans best interests that he get American politicians united under one banner.This is the beginning of the restructuring of washington.Obama is a student of great presidents.He knows it is smart to be inclusive.As Americans it should be clear to all of it's inhabitants that " United We Stand, Divided We Fall." I applaud his efforts and like McCain want to do all I can to contribute to the success of my new president.

It's really not up to you anymore is it? Fact is we voted Obama's team into power. No more voting for four years, they are in power for those four years. They can pick Hillary if they want to. Nothing you can do about it. Nothing at all. Here you were all pumped up about Obama, he could walk on water two weeks ago, and now you are feeling powerless. Do you know what that feeling is really, though. That's feels exactly like POLITICS AS USUAL. It's Obama's turn to get paid! By the way, I like Hillary and I voted for Obama, so there! I don't think that either man is the better man until they are put into a position were they have to take care of America.

I just wish more people would give him a chance before they just write him off. I think this country could head in the right direction, as long as we stood behind our new president, whether we voted for him or not.

Why on earth would Obama ask McCain anything at all? As I recall Obama repeatedly ridiculed McCain as being "out of touch" (code words for old person). If McCain was out of touch before November 4th, how could he possibly be in touch just two weeks later? Seems like Obama's got some explaining to do.

I think if Hillary takes SoS and McCain works as a uniter in the Senate, we might get something accomplished once and for all. These are difficult times and it's going to take everything and everybody we have to pull us out of it.
