PEBO and Biden to Chat with Guvs Next Week
November 25, 2008 1:36 PM
One week from today, PEBO and VP-elect Biden will be in Philadelphia for a closed-door meeting with the nation's governors.
Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell (D), the chair of the National Governors Association, and Vermont Gov. Jim Douglas (R), the vice chair, "will host the nation's governors in Philadelphia for a discussion with President-elect Obama and Vice-President Elect Biden about the unique challenges facing our states during this economic crisis," says Obama Transition Team spox Nick Shapiro.
The event will be closed to the press and will be followed by a press avail hosted by Rendell and Douglas. All the guvs are invited to the avail; we do not expect PEBO to attend.
