Obama's aunt is a illegal immigrant living in public houseing and receiving welfare for 5 years. Now she voted for Obama. Why does he not sread his wealth to her instead of takeing your money. Of course he did not know his aunt was here. Is this the kind of person you would trust? This is the same story we heard about Ayers Wright Farrakhan and the Islamis terror buddies.

--Jake, it only seems closer if you disregard that mason-dixon has consistently had the race closer than most other polls.

--Yes, Pelosi is a liberal, but the idea that Reid is a liberal is just a Republican non-reality based talking point. Liberal democrats were upset when Reid was selected because he's moderate, centrist.

tim,
go back to the cheney endorement II

I don't not dislike john mccain as a man
i am proud of his service to this country.
I have not called anyont a terroist,
or accused anyone of hiding anything.

so i will now leave for church, ask god to forgive me for my sins,
and pray for our country and the world.

and pray that our national nightmare is almost over. and with obama as president we will have a better day coming.
that is what hope is all about.
mccain has given me no hope. just a promise of more of the same.

talk to you later alligators

thats my whole point: ITS NOT JUST OBAMA, ITS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AS A WHOLE. you're not just electing obama, you're voting for a party.

Posted by: tim | Nov 2, 2008 11:39:01 AM

so you're saying congress isnt as important as the presidency!

Posted by: tim | Nov 2, 2008 11:37:47 AM

They once called Senator Barack Obama a dreamer, but the dreamer, I predict shall will be a winner on the day after polls close. I can't be wrong. This is because Senator Barack Obama is already a winner. I thank Senator Barack Obama for inviting so many young, old, and long absent Americans back into the election process. Our country will be going forward a much better democracy because more Americans will be paying attention to the process. If Senator Barack Obama wins the election, I am confident, he will be an excellent American president. As it seems to me, so many people on the other side (McCain/Palin)are driven by fear of this and that, just a reminder, it was hope, faith, and dreams that created this great country, the USA. The founding American fathers were risk takers. It is the fear and division that threaten or seeks to destroy faith, hope, and dreams in America. The purveyors of fear favor more of the same failed Bush/McCain/Palin policies.
Will America be lead by fear or lead by hope? Even Republicans are crossing over to vote for hope by voting Obama. Go vote in haste for Obama/Biden 08, the
positive change you too can believe in!
God bless the United States of America.

new man...

wait, so you would rather have obama appointing supreme court justices???!! you want judges who would legislate from the bench, or those who abide by the constitution? thats one of the scariest things about an obama presidency. you dont agree that obama is a slick politician? what history does he have to prove otherwise?! he's an empty suit at this point. maybe he will do a good job, but he is just words at this point. and, you were the one who said "its time for a minority president" not me. i just said, it shouldnt be a reason for voting for a canidate. if they happen to be a minority, so be it. but you should not list it as a "benefactor" before choosing a canidate. policies trump color, race, or sex. sorry.

Posted by: tim | Nov 2, 2008 11:36:59 AM

Tim,

Did you listen to the Palin prank phone call? I mean, really listen?

If you're really an independent and you're not a member of her immediate family, you have to see she's a numbscull.

Posted by: Paul New man | Nov 2, 2008 11:35:54 AM

tim,

I agree with you on Pelosi and Reid. What a shame we can't do better.

But they're not the ones running for POTUS.

cheer up...

well i must have missed your post earlier if you replied to why you are voting for obama, so please post again. im voting for mccain, because obama and the democratic agenda, is not the answer. let me keep it simple, for time saving purposes. I AM NOT A REPUBLICAN. i am an independant. its just that th democratic party, is being taken over by the far left. the pelosi's, obama's, reid's, frank's, dodd's, etc. THEY SIMPLY DONT STAND FOR WHAT I, AND MOST AMEICANS, STAND FOR. i dont like the republiccans much more lately, but at least there are still SOME left in congress that have a clue. and with activism, i believe we stand a chance with them. thats why, in a nutshell, im voting for mccain.

Posted by: tim | Nov 2, 2008 11:30:53 AM

Tim,

I don't buy the "just another slick politician" argument. That one can be applied to both sides of the coin.

" im guessing its just that you dont agree with her ideas. another pointless reason."

I think that not agreeing with someone's ideas is a pretty good reason not to vote for them.

Also, I think she just lacks the intellect to hold high office, regardless of what her views may be.

I would not want her, say, nominating Supreme Court justices - both from an "idea" standpoint and an "intellect" standpoint.

I would not vote for Obama just because he's black. In fact, 40 years ago that might have been a reason why I'd have voted against him. Luckily, things have changed and so have I.

I believe this is an historic opportunity to elect a highly talented and qualified black man to the presidency. He's better than his opposition and the time is right.

WHAT IS SHE HIDING???

Posted by: sisterdearest09 | Nov 2, 2008 11:27:24 AM

GHM...

why do you believe "we will get us back our dignity and straighten out the country", if obama is elected. you are making these claims without reasoning!! explain WHY you belive this will happen? what has obama done that leads you to believe this?????

Posted by: tim | Nov 2, 2008 11:25:45 AM

YOU ARE REMOVING ANY FREE SPEECH FROM YOUR SIGHT. ANY ANTI OBAMA IS REMOVED. WE HAVE DOCUMENTED WHAT YOU HAVE DONE. iT IS BEING SENT TO MANY MEDIA OUTLETS. YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO TAKE OUR FREE SPEECH. YOU WILL BE FIRED

tim,
are you voting for mccain?
if so why?

Posted by: cheer up, smile, nertz! | Nov 2, 2008 11:24:12 AM

bskahn,

What do you think of the Gallup polls? Can they be trusted?

Posted by: Paul New man | Nov 2, 2008 11:24:03 AM

paul new man...

ok, well thanks for actually replying. ill reply to those in the order you wrote them:

1.) pointless. that just means he's a slick politician. we have alot of politicians that look and sound good, but have no experience or backbone. he has never been tested, it means nothing.

2.) i agree to a point. we already HAVE those. unfortunately, government greed has ruined most of them over the years. from BOTH sides, not just one party or the other. what makes you think things will change with an obama presidency?!

3.) absolutely right. the republicans HAVE lost all fiscal hope from me. we need ACTIVISM and accountablilty to change this. its the only thing that will change their actions. they used to be good at it, there is hope WE THE PEOPLE could force them to get back to those policies.

4.) mccain is old. palin is comparable to obama with experience. im guessing its just that you dont agree with her ideas. another pointless reason.

5.) i have no problem with a minority president. but its just not a reason to vote for one. they have to be the RIGHT minority canidate. its not a reason for voting for a canidate.

tim
are you voting for mccain?
if so why?
what did mccain say to you that makes you believe he would be the best president?
and don't give me the pow story.
i admire mccain for his military service to the country, too.
but i do not think that would automatically make him a better president.

tim, try to campaign for mccain,
he needs you.
