Super Obama World
November 12, 2008 3:50 PM
A three-person software company in Madison, Wis., called ZenSoft, has created an on-line video game that pays tribute to President-elect Obama by putting him in "Super Obama World," which bears more than a passing resemblance to the 1990s game Super Mario World.
In the first installment, Obama is in Alaska, where he scores points by collecting American flag lapel pins, and battling hockey moms, Russian soldiers, Gov. Sarah Palin, oil company executives, and pigs and pitbulls wearing lipstick.
Stores where Palin's pricey wardrobe originated -- Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's and Neiman Marcus -- are in the background.
And yes, there's a Bridge to Nowhere.
The gamemakers say future installments will put Obama in Illinois, Arizona, and Washington, D.C.

What:
I know Bush won't be back and that he is joyful to be leaving Washington.
Is Bush all you can think about? You didn't read anything in my message but Bush. If you had been listening about your precious obama he wouldn't be going to be your president. No matter who had been running as a democrat would have been elected because Bush has been so disliked. The dems would have voted for GI Joe if he was on the ticket, not caring what a disaster this country will be in in the next 4 years.

monica,
no one will be screaming for bush to come back.
he would not come back.
he wants out of washington right now.
we don't have to worry about seeing bush again
and that is a good thing.
he is the worst president in modern times.

What:
You will be really screaming in the next 8 years (I hope is only four)to get rid of this BBP empty suit. Socialism will not work and all of us know it, it hasn't worked in Russia.
You will be yelling "Get GEORGE" he wasn't so bad after all. The "four stooges", Dodd, Frank, Reed and Pelosi,
have been in office for the past four years...hum weren't they democrats.
The democrats were in the majority and what did they do....let's put some blame where it is due..this Congress.
And, by the way, they are still in charge, hide and watch.

What:
Wait until the next 8 years with solialism which is real good if you live in Russia. It didn't work there and it isn't going to work here either. You think Bush has been bad, you will be yelling louder to get rid of this basketball playing empty suit.

monica,
if obama is a computer game,
what can we call bush?
he must be something..hum....
oh I know,
how about the worst president we ever had.
and i am glad this eight years is almost over.

This guy obama is just a computer game himself. Watch!! The USA is not a game folks.........this is serious stuff. Grow up, you are going to need to be in the next four years.

Jan,
I have not seen anything in sarah palin,
for the dems or anyone else to be afraid of sarah palin about.
you say obama tried to run her down with the beauty queen and seccessionist stuff.
she was a beauty queen, and she has family ties (todd) to the seccessionist.
those are not lies.
but sarah palin on the other had.
came out on the national stage (first time many had ever heard of her)
and DID WHAT SHE WAS TOLD TO DO
and started running barack obama down.
but now she has changed her tune, talking about how much she is looking forward to serving the govt. and helping obama anyway she can.
sarah palin does not sound like anyone the dems or anyone else should be afraid of.
she wants to keep a job just like the rest of us.

The developers are planning to release levels set in Wasilla this week. Should be a cute game.

I continue to believe that Democrats are scared speechless by Sarah Palin.
The Obama campaign -- right out of the box -- was frantically reducing this United States Governor down to everything from a former beauty queen to a former secessionist as fast as they possibly could!
And now we have an entire video game, with the very first installment built around Obama battling the remarkable Sarah Palin.
I think maybe this is going to get interesting.

People, is it so difficult to keep comments strictly relevant to the post? Save the generalised partisan bickering, we've heard more than enough already. Sheesh.

The second highest ranking Republican in the Senate, Jon Kyl, just a few days after the election, is already talking about blocking Supreme Court nominations that haven't been named, in response to Supreme Court vacancies that don't exist."
speaks for itself... doesn't it....
Republicans, losers to the end...

anybod got anything positive to say after eight years of negativity?
politics is like driving-to go backwards shift into r. to go forwards shift into d.

This plays to the fantasy world people are in as they await Obama curing the ills of the world. And if you can poke fun at Republicans in the meantime, all the better. Who need unity?
Our national nightmare has just begun.

roxie,
today the dow fell
and the man still at the helm
is GEORGE BUSH
but yes, roxie,
change is coming.
our national nightmare is almost over.

So this is what it is like to live in a united America. Obamabots insult and deride the losing VP candidate continuously and the Dow sinks 660 points in three days. I guess you could call that "change".
Posted by: Roxie | Nov 12, 2008 5:34:16 PM
Oh man, I'm addicted already. Very clever game!

You don't need a real Neimans in Alaska, the Gov will simply ask the RNC to send the stuff to her after the aides charge it to their cards.
