Transition Heads for State Department About to Be Named
November 12, 2008 4:05 PM
ABC News has learned that Tom Donilon, assistant secretary of state for public affairs and chief of staff during the Clinton administration, will serve as the head of the Obama-Biden Transition Team's Agency Review Team preparing for the transfer of power at the State Department.
Donilon, a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of O’Melveny & Myers, was previously the executive vice president for law and policy at Fannie Mae. At the State Department, he was involved in the Balkans and Middle East peace negotiations, the expansion of NATO, and U.S.-China policy.
Ambassador Wendy Sherman, former counselor of the Department of State during the Clinton administration, will be Donilon's deputy.

I don't appreciate having 'crooks' from Fannie and Freddie being involved. Look at this guy's resume - he got a job at Fannie only because of his Democrat connections - and those institutions, in conjunction with Dobbs and Frank, are major players in our economic woes.

What does the "head of the Obama-Biden Transition Team's Agency Review Team preparing for the transfer of power at the State Department", exactly do? Has everyone in Washington some connection to Fannie and Freddy?
