Wow, that Greg Craig reportlet is fairly suprising.

Appearently it was delayed because prosecutors wanted to interview Rahm and Obama.

If you believe Craig's report, this was the first time in history someone try to solict a bribe without soliciting one. Rahm claims that Harris and Blago never asked him for any consideration.

Given Blago's attitude on the tape I find that suprising.

Like if someone says "thats *** wont give us anything" they have actually asked for something.

Also unlike- VJ withdrew her name by herself. It happened the night that Blago and Harris had the conference call- that is very cooincidental timing. Also Rahm recommended Jarrett on his own accord without talking to Obama? Does that seem likely?

Also they try to pass off Axelrod's "I know he has talked..." statement as he was present when names were being suggested and therefor he was "under the impression" that the information was going to be conveyed. "Know" in the past tense is not the same as guessing that something might happen. in the future. Suspecious.

Its also ridiculous that Duckworth is termed 'highly qualified' for the US Senate, but thta is besides the point.

Its also worth noting that Craig tries to hedge his bets for the future by not being too specific- there were one or two conversations, try to guess which. He also keeps dates open so they have some wiggle room on their timeline.

The president-elect will likely not be talking about this matter today willingly -- he is attending a memorial for his grandmother at a Hawaii private service today.

It is the most disrespectful I have seen your blog being and I really wonder if its happening under your watch. How dare Sunlen Miller associate Obama's grandmother's memorial service with the idea of Obama answering questions "willingly", with all the implications of Obama using the memorial to dodge the questions. Obama has talked about this subject repeatedly, how can Sunlen Miller possibly dare to associate somebody's grandmother's memorial for insinuations such as this? I am absolutely, absolutely outraged.
