Joe the Plumber Heading to Middle East To Be Correspondent for Conservative Media Outlet
January 07, 2009 2:21 PM
Ohio's WNWO-TV has the scoop: Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, aka Joe the Plumber, will be heading off to the Holy Land to become a war correspondent for conservative Pajamas TV.
“If given the opportunity to do some good however minute it may be, or could be something really good, you gotta take that chance. You have to do it,” Wurzelbacher said. "I get to go over there and let there 'Average Joes' share their story, what they think, how they feel, especially with world opinion, maybe get a real story out there."
Wurzelbacher said that "being a Christian I'm pretty well protected by God I believe. That's not saying he's going to stop a mortar for me, but you gotta take the chance."
Godspeed, Joe. Or should I say יוֹסֵף ? Or possibly يوسف.

>>Wow. He's not even a licensed journalist>>
There is no such thing as a license for journalists.

Becky- I agree. It's like the caliber of the guests and audience on the Jerry Springer show are making their way into more respectable media outlets.

Leave it to the Neo-Clowns to appoint a whack-job like Joe the Plumber to be a reporter. What a joke.

Only in America... what a joke we have made of ourselves.

Joe the plumber is not an average Joe. He is just a moron.

During the fall, while campaigning for McCain, Joe Wulzelbacher agreed with the statement, " Obama will be the death of Israel." He later went on FOX to further exploit his opinion, which I assume American Jews don't agree with given that Obama received 78% of their vote.

Don't forget to carry your tools along with you the plumber. You might end up be given the fixing work there, instead of collecting real stories.

At first I thought, how ridiculous...then it occured to me that he can't be any worse than any of the other so called journalists running around who don't know a thing about ethics or being unbiased (much less anything they learned in Journalism 101)...so why not.

I once met rapper Doug E. Fresh. B.E.T. should hire me as a correspondent!

there/their. Perhaps he should learn how to use those two words BEFORE he goes over there to play journalist. Actually, reading his statement, he's starting actually, there, to sound much like his buddy Palin, too.

Why do they call him a plumber when he is not one? It should be Joe not a Plumber...

Wow. He's not even a licensed journalist.

As rediculous as the hype surrounding this guy is, he should milk it for all it's worth. He should also work to improve sanitation over there.

An idiot who became wiser and cashed on the opportunity the american way. Hope he stays there. Where did he go to school for Jounalism?

Let's hope he doesn't come back.

Sigh. By making his religion an issue, he should fit in quite well in the region.

Yes he is leaving this country so he will not have to redistribute his income the way the OBAMA decides he should
