1) A little birdie tells me that the list of supportive opinion-makers who met with President-elect Obama includes: The Atlantic's Andrew Sullivan, the Boston Globe's Derrick Jackson, USA Today's DeWayne Wickham, the Washington Post's Gene Robinson and EJ Dionne, the NYT's Maureen Dowd and Frank Rich, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow, and CNN's Roland Martin1) A little birdie tells me that the list of invited, supportive opinion-makers who met with President-elect Obama includes: The Atlantic's Andrew Sullivan, the Atlanta Journal-Contitution;s Cynthia Tucker, the Boston Globe's Derrick Jackson, USA Today's DeWayne Wickham, the Washington Post's Gene Robinson and EJ Dionne, the NYT's Maureen Dowd and Frank Rich, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow, and CNN's Roland Martin.

2) Also, Mr. Drudge is providing a transcript of a CNBC interview of Larry Kudlow who dished about last night's dinner. After reciting the guest list, Mr. Kudlow effuses of the President-elect -- he "is charming, he is terribly smart, bright, well-informed, he has a great sense of humor."

Mr Kudlow says that he told a lot of jokes that Mr. Obama laughed at.

"I said ‘You took my best people from the program. You took Austan Goolsbee,'" Kudlow told CNBC. "He laughed and said, 'They're good men.' I said, 'But Mr. President,... why did you leave us Robert Reich,' who i adore, and he laughed and said, 'I want somebody fighting for me, Larry.'"

3) The legendary Ann Compton reports that George Will continues to be mum on the dinner, offering only, "What happens in Chevy Chase Village, stays in Chevy Chase Village."

"What the right is experiencing at the moment is a phenomenon called 'cultural para-stimuli.' You can read all about it in Tom Wolfe’s wonderful novel I Am Charlotte Simmons. It's sort of like peer pressure on steroids. It was discovered by Nobel Laureate Victor Ransome Starling, who found that when he surrounded normal cats with cats whose behavior had been bizarrely altered by brain surgery, the normal cats began acting like the crazy cats all around them."
~ Andrew Klavin, "Why We Fight", Big Hollywood.

Great article. Obama is working his magic on the normal cats and they don't seem to get it... yet.

..."liberal opinion-makers who met with President-elect Obama includes: The Atlantic's Andrew Sullivan..."

Thank you for placing Sullivan in the proper category. There are far too many that continue to call him right-leaning or conservative. I wonder if the Sullivan discussed his participation in Trig Trutherism with the President-Elect.
