Tales From the Crypt

Did you catch the story about the mausoleum Roland Burris -- the man Gov. Blagojevich has named to replace President-elect Obama in the Senate -- has had constructed for himself at Oak Woods Cemetery in Chicago?
There, alongside more modest memorials for the late Mayor Harold Washington and Jesse Owens is a rather grandiose memorial the former Illinois Attorney General has had built for himself titled: "Trail Blazer."

UMMM...........SO! How or where (as long as it's legal) a person wants to be buried is their business, regardless of who they are. It's a highly personal thing, one might want to be cremated, one 6 ft under and yet others above ground. I don't think it's any of our business how Mr. Burris wants his body to live for eternity, and it certainly has nothing to do with his appointment as Senator.

Can somebody tell me how to get to the Political Radar blog when Jake's blog hogs up all three of the links on the right of the politics section? Thank you in advance.

It isn't how big it is, it's the fact that his ego compels him to list his "accomplishments" on his gravesite.
That's something better decided by, and covered in, history books.

Gosh: is it bigger than Reverend Wright's "retirement" cottage? Did any mobsters chip in so it could be on a bigger plot?
