New U.S.-China Strategic Dialogue Announced

After President Obama meets today with his Excellency Hu Jintao, president of the People's Republic of China, and other Chinese leaders at Winfield, the White House will announce a new strategic dialogue with China.

An economic dialogue is already ongoing.

The dialogue will deal with Sudan, Iran, North Korea (already kind of on track), counterterrorism, law enforcement, and a resumption of a human rights dialogue.

The dialogue will be helmed by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Dai Bingguo, China's vice minister of foreign affairs.
