The Obama Doctrine

President Obama in Trinidad outlined the Obama doctrine. In his view, the doctrine necessitates recognition by the US that while it's the wealthiest and most powerful country, it needs other countries; that such cooperation is in the US's best interests; and that it makes the nation stronger to acknowledge when the US strays from its ideals.

We took a look at Mr. Obama's trip to Latin America -- and what he calls his new "re-engagement" with the region -- on World News last night:
