ABC News Exclusive: National Security Adviser Says President Obama Is Having Greater Success Taking Terrorists Out of Commission Than Bush Did
Responding to criticism from former Vice President Cheney that President Obama is making the nation more vulnerable to terrorism, the president’s National Security Adviser, Gen. Jim Jones (Ret.), told ABC News in an exclusive interview that actually the reverse is true: President Obama’s greater success with international relations has meant more terrorists put out of commission.

President Obama Makes Local Pit Stop for Candy, Ice Cream
ABC News’ Karen Travers reports: President Obama spent part of his last day of vacation taking his daughters, Malia and Sasha, and his niece Suhaila, the daughter of First Sister Maya Soetoro Ng, out for some sugar.
On a soggy dreary Sunday on Martha’s Vineyard, the Obamas paid a visit to Alley's General store in West Tisbury, just a few blocks away from the farm they are renting. The president told his daughters they could get “only one treat.” They chose push-up popsicles and astronaut ice cream (freeze dried).
