Iranian Media: President Obama Sent a Second Letter to Iranian Leaders
September 02, 2009 2:33 PM
The White House today would not confirm or deny a report by Iranian media that President Obama has sent a second letter to Iranian authorities.
"There have been multiple ways that communication has taken place with Iran,” said White House spokesman Tommy Vietor. “We do not discuss the details or modalities of those communications."
The Iranian website Tabnak reported that President “Obama has reportedly sent his second direct message to Iranian authorities.”
"The first letter was dispatched in Ordibehesht, before the elections," Tabnak said, referring to the Persian month that ran from April 21 to May 21. "The leader at the time replied to the letter by providing argumentation.”

Has President Obama Failed America Stands For freedom, Liberty and Human Rights?
Wake Up Call: Obama policy no longer is promoting freedom, liberty, Human Rights, Anti-Slavery and democracy around the globe which was one of the top USA fundamental principles.
The down fall of America was when President Obama sent 2 letters to Khamenei, despite the fact that president knew about Khamenei's 30 years of crimes against humanity( his first crime was Cinema Rex Fire Incident in Abadan orchestrated by Khamenei as the chief operator and gang leader under Khomeinei's orders killed 400 innocent Iranians. 1978)
President Obama ignored the prison rape, torture and execution of Iranian youth for freedom .....

The bloodthirsty Iranian regime has only grown more corrupt. But Obama insists on more bowing to terrorist leaders.
When Scotland freed the convicted Lockerbie mass murderer, every Lib on this site celebrated it as the will of the Scottish people, a triumph of democracy, and a vast improvement on the evil Bush/Blair foreign policy.
Turns out Gordon Brown turned the killer loose in return for a Libyan oil deal.
Liberals used to call that "blood for oil."

"In March 2009 Obama insulted Sarkozy with this:
---US President Barack Obama has indirectly praised FORMER FRENCH PRESIDENT Jacques Chirac's fierce opposition to the US-led invasion of Iraq, the online edition of the daily Le Figaro reported.
In a letter described by Chirac as 'very nice,' Obama wrote, 'I am certain that we will be able to work together, in the coming four years, in a spirit of peace and friendship to build a safer world.'---"
ROFLMAO!
The Christian Science Monitor of all places debunked that right wing lie.

What's so shocking and out of the ordinary about that? He's the president. Isn't his job to communicate with other leaders, no matter who those leaders are? Aren't the hikers still being held hostage? We don't need to know about this letter or any other letter or phone call or private closed door visit. That is, if a letter even exists.

"Obama wrote a letter to the French leader to a man that wasn't the French leader"
No, the President did not. Nothing of the sort took place.

On the other hand, Sarah Palin did take a phone call from some comedians from Canada who pretended to be the French President and totally fooled Palin.

What is it with Obama and his secret letters to world leaders? God, I hope atleast he didn't send and address this leader to the leader Iran and the man turns out not to be the leader. Obama wrote a letter to the French leader to a man that wasn't the French leader and it just showed what dufus Obama is. God, the other world leaders much go home laughing everynight about the moron the US has as leader now.

Is the WH too embarrassed to admit Obama sent another letter?
The most transparent president ever tries to hide the truth again.

"and for once side with the people of Iran and not just pay lip service to them and their struggle and their cause?"
We supported Obama's outreach to the Iranian people when you saber rattlers were calling it 'befriending our enemies'. And just what do you propose? -Military action? Don't try and lecture us about humanity, your poorly disguised rant was basically raging against a peace initiative. Since you mentioned Carter I consider it fair to reminisce about Reagan selling arms to these same mullahs to fund terrorist activities in Central America that killed innocent men women and children.

The contents of the letter, if there is such a thing, is none of your business. Even a president of the US is entitled to privacy.
It may have been an invitation to Obama's summer retreat.

"Did I miss something here? We don't even know what was in the letter and you guys are having a fit. Idk....maybe I did miss something."
What you missed is having a fit is standard procedure for these guys for any event.

Damn shame that everything about leftists are repulsive and shameful and deceitful.
Obama and cohorts representing the party of righteous humanism and hope are sending letters to the illegitimate terrorist thugs -- who've beaten and murdered innocent Iranian voters and Green Movement reformers and sabotaged elections and taken a nation hostage -- practically begging them to come to the table for another round of "grand bargaining"!!!
Question is what can obama bargain for with an invalid contraband regime anyway? What can they bargain for when these thugocrats don't speak for the country or its people; they are unlawful and unconstitutional and unfortunately for the Democrats the whole world saw it on their television sets night after night during and after the mullahs' so-called elections. Who'll be the sacrificial lamb, who's expendable for obama, who's he willing to thrown under the bus for his agenda of negotiations with islamist fascists???
Are obama & co. so proud of their party's last "grand bargain" with mullahs -- and its ugly and ruinously consequential legacies -- contrived between their self-righteous "human rights" defrauder, jimmy carter, and the khomeinist hostage-takers and murderers, now they want to do it again to another generation of Iranians as well as the rest of the world? Algiers Accord, part deux!!! It is utterly disgusting. Hasn't the world suffered enough and been held hostage long enough for the leftists to finally abandone their tolerance and blind (OR perhaps not so blind!) empowerment of terrorist islamists, and for once side with the people of Iran and not just pay lip service to them and their struggle and their cause? Can they for the love of humanity, for once in their lives, stop stabbing the people again and again in the back???
I am so truly sick of leftists and their moronic stupidity and inhumanity.

And so it goes in the era of Hope and Change, ably assisted by a national press corps, whose appreciation for skepticism and demand for transparency went out the window on January 20, 2009.

It is an absolute certainty, in my opinion, that the press corps both inside the WH and across the country would already be DEMANDING to know the exact language, timeline and motivations of any such letter if President Bush had sent it.
As it is, the WH press corps, TV news networks, and major national daily newspapers will, with rare exceptions, continue to take at face value anything and everything this administration tells them...or doesnt tell them in this case.

Of course. I'm sure being the President of the United States is a piece of cake. I'm sure you could do it yourself much better. Just listen to yourself go on... two minutes as POTUS and you'd by crying to your mommy!
