The Presidential Planner Abroad
Today President Obama will start his day in Bejing and first attend a welcome ceremony at the Great Hall of the People.
Located on the edge of Tiananmen Square, the Great Hall of the People is home to the National People’s Congress. Built in 1959 the building is one of ten structures in Bejing to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
