My Conversation with President Obama

November 09, 2009 5:30 PM

I sat down with President Obama in an exclusive interview this afternoon. The conversation was wide-ranging -- on whether health care reform would allow taxpayer funds to subsidize abortions, the nation’s deficit and economic recovery, last Tuesday’s elections, and the tragedy at Fort Hood. Lastly, we spoke about his pending decision to send more troops to Afghanistan.

Read the transcript right HERE, and watch the interview tonight 6:30 p.m. EST on ABC’s “World News with Charlie Gibson.”

How many articles have you done on this President since he took office? How many did you do on Bush in 8 YEARS? Please, either do some investigative reporting, or STOP covering. I AM SICK OF THE FLUFF!

Jake, thank you for hitting the issue of fines & jail time punishments included in the health care bills. My only disappointment came when you did not specifically ask him about the constitutionality of it. Oh well, maybe next time.

Keep up the good work of questioning BOLDLY!

Sooo... You don't read the posts here.

Hmmm... You should. Some people who posted today had much better questions than the ones you asked the president. It looks like you went with "AJ" and threw softballs.
