The Presidential Planner

ABC News' Sunlen Miller reports:

President Obama this morning will visit Kenmore Middle School in Arlington, Virginia to speak on education.

During his visit President Obama will call on Congress to change the No Child Left Behind Act and reauthorize the Elementary and Secondary Education Act before the start of the next school year.

Speaking on a conference call with reporters, Obama administration officials said the president will use his remarks tomorrow to describe specifically how No Child Left Behind can be "fixed."

"We must fix NCLB this year," said Education Secretary Arne Duncan. "It has created dozens of ways for schools to fail and very few ways to help them succeed or to recognize success."

Back at the White House in the early afternoon Mr. Obama will meet with Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen of Denmark in the Oval Office. Afterward the two leaders will deliver statements to press.

"The President looks forward to discussing with Prime Minister Rasmussen the strong ties between the United States and Denmark, the common global and security challenges our two nations face, including counterterrorism, the situation in the Middle East and economic and environmental issues," the White House said in a statement in advance of the meeting.

Later in the afternoon, the President will meet with General Petraeus in the Oval Office privately.

In the evening, the President will attend a DNC event at the St. Regis Hotel. This event is closed press.
