President Obama on Afghanistan Strategy: “It Is My Intention to Finish the Job”


President Obama Tuesday said that he would be “shortly” telling the American people how he intends to proceed in Afghanistan and Pakistan, arguing that during the Bush administration the US did not have “either the resources or the strategy to get the job done” but it is his “intention to finish the job.”

Gitmo Detainees Intend to Plead Not Guilty in U.S. Court


The five detainees being held at Guantanamo Bay who will soon be brought to the U.S. for trial -- Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Walid bin Attash, Ali Abdul Aziz Ali , Ramzi bin al-Shibh, and Mustafa al-Hawsawi – intend to plead not guilty, an attorney for one of the defendants confirmed to ABC News’s Jason Ryan over the weekend.
