Clinton on Obama: "He's Terrific."

ABC News' David Chalian Reports: Sen. Hillary Clinton was asked to size up her most prominent competition for the Democratic presidential nomination, Sen. Barack Obama. Clinton called Obama "terrific" and went on to say that she thinks Obama "is a really exciting personality and someone who has a lot to contribute" to the national dialogue. Sen. Clinton also said that she is "working hard to make a decision" about running for the White House and intends to do so after the first of the year. "Maybe more than anyone else, I know how hard this job is. I saw it in an up close and personal way for eight years," Clinton told NBC's Meredith Vieira on the "Today" show during an interview scheduled to promote the re-release of Clinton's 1996 book, "It Takes A Village." The decision to run or not to run has to be "right for me, for my family, for my party, for my country," added Clinton. And all comers are apparently welcome. The former first lady said she hopes for a wide open race with as many presidential hopefuls running as possible so that there are a wide range of voices in the national debate.
