Obama To Announce White House Run on Morning Conference Call
January 16, 2007 9:21 AM
Sen. Barack Obama's (D-Illinois) supporters are preparing themselves this morning for the big announcement according to "The Scoop from Lynn Sweet" in the Chicago Sun-Times.
On a conference call at 11am Central Time the Illinois Senator is expected to discuss filing the necessary paperwork to officially launch his 2008 run for the White House.
Sweet's blog says that the call is being organized by Nate Tamarin, the political director of Obama's DC-based PAC (the Hope Fund) and that Obama is expected to travel to early primary states in the coming days.
