Cheney 'Disappointed' with Libby Verdict
March 06, 2007 4:45 PM
ABC News' Karen Travers reports: A "no comment" from Vice President Cheney on the Libby verdict today: He is "very disappointed" with the verdict but will have no further comment on the merits of the case until the proceedings are completed.
THE WHITE HOUSE
Office of the Vice President
For Immediate Release
March 6, 2007
VICE PRESIDENT’S STATEMENT ON LIBBY VERDICT
I am very disappointed with the verdict. I am saddened for Scooter and his family. As I have said before, Scooter has served our nation tirelessly and with great distinction through many years of public service.
Since his legal team has announced that he is seeking a new trial and, if necessary, pursuing an appeal, I plan to have no further comment on the merits of this matter until these proceedings are concluded.

Cheney is disappointed with the verdict, but not with Libby himself, eh?
Prediction: that blood clot in his leg is going to worsen. He will soon resign from office "for reasons of health."

Cheney said: "I am saddened for Scooter and his family." If that's really true, why doesn't he tell the truth about Rove's, and his involvement in the scheme?

One down and a slew more to follow!!!!!! The Bush/Cheney team is crumbling and its getting better with each conviction. Libby was the fall guy, and we'll all stay tuned for more to come.Come on 2008!!!

I wonder ... Now that the trial is over, what prevents GJ testimonies to be made public ?

I don't understand (Ron) how you can only see the faults of the political party that you are against. No one administration has been w/o fault, but when the shoes on the other foot it's easy to look past right?

I was expecting a bit more red meat response from the Price of Darkness, more along the lines of his usual demonizing of opponents:
"I am very disappointed with the verdict. I am saddened that the jury is giving aid & comfort to our enemies." etc etc

This administrations lies is killing our soldiers!
And now it has been proven that this administration has blantantly medically neglected our us soldiers and their families.
Clear signs criminal behavior.
Orangejump suit.
Jail all.
