Hunter: All or Nothin'
March 21, 2007 2:04 PM
ABC News' Z. Byron Wolf Reports: Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., is making 2008 a family affair, stating that he will not seek re-election to the congressional seat he has held for 14 terms, making way for his son, a U.S. Marine and Iraq War veteran, to run.
Duncan Hunter, Jr., who currently works for a real estate developer and served two tours in Iraq, has not made a formal announcement, instead focusing on the presidential aspirations of his father.
The elder Hunter's spokesperson Roy Tyler confirmed to ABC News that Junior is mulling a bid for the San Diego-area Congressional seat and said that the young Hunter has joked that he going to run for the San Diego seat "whether his Dad drops out or not."
