ABC's David Chalian and Eloise Harper Report: Former Democratic presidential hopeful Gov. Tom Vilsack, D-Iowa, officially endorsed Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., for president Monday.  The former Iowa governor will serve as the national co-chair for Clinton's campaign, and his wife Christie Vilsack will serve as the campaign's Iowa co-chair.

Vilsack began his run for the White House in November, 2006, only to drop out last month due to his campaign's financial woes.

In what sounded like a potential sneak peak for the Democratic ticket, Clinton said when talking about the Iraq war, "Tom Vilsack and I will campaign together around this country and make it clear when I'm president we will end this war in Iraq."

The Vilsacks then delivered Sen. Clinton Caucus gold when they each signed the Iowa pledge card, a card that promises that they will go to the polls on Caucus day and support her.
