Cheney Unexpectedly Visits Hospital for Blood Clot
April 24, 2007 11:15 AM
ABC News' Ann Compton Reports: Vice President Dick Cheney unexpectedly visited his doctors at George Washington University Tuesday morning concerning the deep venous thrombosis in his left leg. Cheney received an ultrasound to examine the clot, which, according to a statement from the Vice President’s office, "was reassuring and showed that the clot is gradually resolving. His blood thinning medication was found to be in the desired range."
Cheney's doctors advised him to continue his treatment, and he has returned to the White House to resume his normal schedule.
Cheney last visited his doctor on March 21 concerning discomfort in his leg due to the clot, and has in recent days claimed to be doing fine.
This visit with his doctors comes on the same day that long-shot presidential candidate, Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, was to introduce articles of impeachment against the Vice President, but has postponed the announcement due to the reports of Cheney's health.

I marvel at our medical expertise and respect the kindness that Kucinich is showing, but folks, with Cheney, the devil will soon be nigh upon him....
